Chapter 38: Rebuilding Corona's Statue: Torso (3)
Chapter 38: Rebuilding Corona's Statue: Torso (3)
They are all walked together towards the deserted village with everyone there who had walked in and out. It may be the place that had a lot of poverty on it, but their togetherness had managed to make that place looked like that it only looked poverty by outside. But it was a paradise for humanity.
When they walked in a group together, nobody looked at them as they had stayed there for a month. And with that time alone, it was a time that was long enough for them to know each other.
The goddess had observed the place left and right, then. She started,
"Reili, do you guys have funding to continue the place? I think with your guys' current human resources, it would take a pretty long time to resolve many issues here."
Three of them stopped at the middle where they were surrounded by the horribly built house by the second-handed woods. Reili answered them,
"To be honest. I don't dare to ask much anymore about it, dad had been sick and mom is passed away since I was a teen."
The goddess wanted to spank the fairy so hard for burdening her father as she was not a fan of burdening the parents. But, she was thinking that if she had done it. Then a gory image of the "Flower blooming" that the fairy and the petite god had thought will become a real thing.
That was making her sigh as she tried not to be angry with the fairy. Thus, she continued,
"If my dad is still healthy then..."
The goddess smiled at the fairy, and she started to talk to her.
"You need to become someone who is mature enough for resolving a thing, Reili. We are all mortals and we can't stay alive for eternity. So, you need to cherish what your dad had now while you are replacing him for all of his paperwork. If you don't get what you need, then I can help you with it."
"But..." Reili replied doubtfully. But, the goddess did not give up as she was reminded herself of her old teen days when she always troubled her parents as a hikikomori.
"Kuso!! Stop locking yourself in the room!!"
"Help papa!! Don't just play in the room!!"
More memories of his teen days as a hikikomori had been flashed on his mind, and it led him to question the Fairy,
"Why do you want to burden your father? Is there any of the culture I don't know that had forced you to do so? Or... Do you afraid that people will think that you are not a nice girl so people won't marry you?"
"It's a custom, Kuso," Corona answered the goddess, and he continued,
"At Fantasia. Regardless of any race, a girl should stay in the room then breed for the kids and help for the family while the boy should do the work like what do you do. This is why people are looking at you snarkily although you did a great thing in the Cathedral."
"I don't care about it. For me, you have to help your dad. At least, by lightening his burden that had been increased day by day. Now, you must bring me to the builder right now. So I can talk to the person as we can try to collaborate and I can try to learn from that person."
The goddess looked at her in a stern look as she stated so. Then, the petite god remarked,
"Yes. If you have a burden, tell us. We are comrades already right?"
"Comrades..."
It was a voice that she heard and echoed on her mind.
However, a horrific experience of the Fairy had been felt by her again that flashed in her memory, where her linen was being torn down that hed her to question both of them,
"Can I really become..."
"I know that you were being raped by those so-called comrades before. But, trust me. I won't betray you like those pricks."
"Huh?" The Fairy looked at the goddess who was whispering on the fairy's mind. It led her to question,
"Who is that?"
The goddess smiled at her, and she said.
"Let's talk privately later."
Then, the goddess moved her wheelchair and they moved towards the largest house that the Fairy had pointed out shortly after the goddess stated,
"Navigate us please, Reili?"
They walked straightaway towards the large house made by the second-handed door.
As they walked towards there, they had managed to arrive at the place. Then, the fairy knocked on the door made by a lot of second-handed woods which was shaped like an ancient Chinese door gate.
When she finished knocked the door trice, she called.
"Keira, are you there?"
