Chapter No.39 Chaos Beast Part 2
[Karna, You can also use Phoenix feathers to purify the corruption, With just one touch to the victim.]
Karna's eyes widened as he processed Athena's suggestion. The idea of using Phoenix feathers to purify the corruption intrigued him.
Karna turned to Sage Parth and shared this information without mentioning Athena and the System "Sage Parth, I have Phoenix feathers to purify the corruption left by the Chaos Beast. These feathers possess potent purifying properties, and a single touch can bring about a significant change in the affected individuals."
Sage Parth's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Phoenix feathers, you say? Such a rare and powerful resource would undoubtedly aid us in our mission. If you possess these feathers, we can utilize their purifying properties to restore hope and purity."
Karna nodded and reached into his belongings just for show and pull out 2 Phoenix feathers from inventory.
Karna presented the Phoenix feathers to Sage Parth, who observed them with awe. He recognized their significance and understood the potential they held in countering the darkness of the Chaos Beast.
"These feathers are truly remarkable," Sage Parth remarked. "With their purifying properties, we can bring about a positive change in those affected by the Chaos Beast's influence. Let us combine our efforts and use these feathers to restore hope and purity to this kingdom."
Kali and Shaurya looked at the feathers with anticipation, realizing the pivotal role they would play in their mission. The trio, accompanied by Sage Parth, set out to locate the individuals who the Chaos Beast's influence had corrupted.
As they ventured through the city, they encountered villagers who displayed signs of despair, anger, and fear. With his sage-like presence, Sage Parth approached them with compassion and offered his guidance and counsel. Karna, Kali, and Shaurya followed his lead, providing comfort and support to those in need.
When they identified someone who had fallen under the influence of the Chaos Beast, Karna stepped forward with a Phoenix feather in hand. He gently touched the individual, and a radiant light emanated from the feather, enveloping the corrupted soul.
The light of the Phoenix feather penetrated the darkness, purifying the negativity and restoring a sense of peace and clarity to the affected individual. The transformation was tangible, as their expressions softened and their spirits lifted.
As more and more individuals were purified, the atmosphere in the city began to change. The once-dormant streets came alive with renewed hope and determination. The darkness of the Chaos Beast was slowly being pushed back by the collective efforts of Karna, Kali, Shaurya, and Sage Parth.
The quartet continued their work tirelessly, moving from one individual to another, purifying the corruption left by the Chaos Beast. Each touch of the Phoenix feather brought a glimmer of light into the hearts of the affected, restoring their faith and resolve.
The word of their deeds spread throughout the kingdom, and soon, more people sought their help. The trio and Sage Parth became a beacon of hope, their presence a symbol of resistance against the darkness that had plagued the land.
As they ventured deeper into the kingdom, their encounters grew more intense. The Chaos Beast, sensing its weakening hold, unleashed its fury, sending forth its corrupted minions to halt their progress.
But Karna, Kali, Shaurya, and Sage Parth stood firm, their determination unyielding. They fought back with a combination of their unique abilities, blending their powers seamlessly to overcome the obstacles in their path.
Their teamwork was flawless, and their movements were coordinated and precise. Karna utilized his skill with weapons and his agility, striking down the corrupted minions with his Divine Axe Rhitta. Kali tapped into her elemental powers, conjuring gusts of wind and waves of fire to engulf their enemies. Shaurya, in his Dive form, pounced and roared, his majestic presence intimidating the corrupted minions into submission.
Sage Parth, with his ancient knowledge and spiritual prowess, provided guidance and support, utilizing his abilities to weaken the corrupted minions and dispel the darkness that lingered within them. His wisdom and foresight proved invaluable in navigating the challenges they faced.
As they battled the corrupted minions, the quartet could feel the presence of the Chaos Beast looming in the background. Its malevolent energy intensified with each defeated minion, but they pressed forward, unwavering in their determination to bring an end to its reign of chaos.
Finally, after a gruelling confrontation, they reached the heart of the kingdom, where the Chaos Beast awaited. It stood tall and imposing, a swirling mass of darkness and corrupted energy that seemed to devour all light around it. The air crackled with malevolence as the Chaos Beast let out a menacing growl.
Behind the beast, there were some bodies laid alive or not yet completely transformed by its corruption. Their expressions were twisted in agony, and their eyes glimmered with a sliver of hope. The quartet knew that their mission was not just to defeat the Chaos Beast but also to save those who had been affected by its darkness.
'No need to hold back.'
Just with a thought a golden armour materialized around Karna's body, his Divine Armor, shining brilliantly amid the darkness. He could feel the power surging through him, granted by his divine lineage.
Then Kusanagi's sword also materialized in his other hand, its blade gleaming with an ethereal radiance. Karna gripped the hilt firmly, his resolve unwavering.
He doesn't want to expose his Vijaya Dhanush (Bow) outside the Tower of Trials for now.
Karna took a deep breath, centring himself in the face of the looming threat. The Chaos Beast roared, its dark tendrils writhing in anticipation of the battle to come. Kali, Shaurya, and Sage Parth stood beside him, ready to lend their support.
With a nod of acknowledgement to his companions, Karna stepped forward, his Divine Armor radiating a golden aura. He raised Kusanagi's sword, its blade humming with power, and prepared to engage the Chaos Beast in combat.
The battle that ensued was fierce and intense. The Chaos Beast unleashed its corrupted energy, attempting to overwhelm Karna and his allies. But Karna's divine armour offered him protection against the darkness, and his skill with Kusanagi's sword allowed him to strike back with precision and strength.
Kali, Shaurya, and Sage Parth joined the fight, each utilizing their unique abilities to weaken the Chaos Beast. Kali's elemental powers clashed with the dark energies, creating explosions of fire and gusts of wind that pushed back the corruption. Shaurya's ferocity and strength matched the Chaos Beast's onslaught, as he pounced and clawed, creating opportunities for his companions to strike. Sage Parth's spiritual prowess weakened the beast's defences, unravelling its hold on the kingdom and its inhabitants.
"Fall back!!!"
As Karna activated the Fifth Form of the Four Seasons Sword Technique, the battlefield transformed. The air crackled with anticipation as Karna channelled the power of all four seasons into a single devastating attack.
"Fifth Form, Eternal Cyclone!"
Karna unleashed a cyclone of energy with a swift and fluid motion, imbued with the essence of spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The cyclone whirled towards the Chaos Beast, tearing through its darkness and corruption with unstoppable force.
The Chaos Beast roared in agony as the cyclone engulfed it, its form waning and dissipating with each passing moment. The beast's grip on the kingdom weakened, and the corrupted energy that once permeated the land began to disperse.
As the cyclone of energy continued to ravage the Chaos Beast, Karna, Kali, Shaurya, and Sage Parth remained vigilant, ensuring that no remnants of corruption would escape. Shaurya's presence intimidated any stray minions or corrupted beings attempting to flee.
Slowly but surely, the Chaos Beast's power diminished until finally, with one last burst of light, it vanished, leaving behind only a lingering sense of peace and the faint echoes of its malevolence.
The quartet stood amidst the aftermath of the battle, their bodies and spirits weary but triumphant. The corrupted individuals saved by the touch of the Phoenix feathers gathered around, their expressions now filled with gratitude and relief.
Karna's Divine Armor faded away, returning to its ethereal form, and he sheathed Kusanagi's sword. The weight of their victory settled upon them, and a sense of accomplishment and fulfilment washed over the group.
Sage Parth approached Karna with a smile on his face. "You have done exceptionally well, Karna. Your bravery, skill, and the power of the Phoenix feathers were instrumental in defeating the Chaos Beast and restoring hope to this kingdom."
"Indeed Young warrior, You saved my kingdom from the darkness which threatened its people."
A regal man approached the group, his presence commanding attention. It was King Drupad, the ruler of the kingdom. His eyes shone with gratitude as he addressed Karna.
"My apologies for not introducing myself earlier. I am King Drupad, the ruler of this kingdom. I cannot express enough my gratitude for what you have done. You have not only defeated the Chaos Beast but also saved my people from its darkness."
Karna bowed respectfully to King Drupad. "Your Majesty, it was an honour to be of service and help restore peace and purity to your kingdom. We could not have accomplished this without the support and cooperation of your people."
King Drupad nodded, a sense of relief evident in his expression. "You have not only fulfilled your mission but also brought a renewed sense of hope to our people. You will forever be remembered as the heroes who vanquished the Chaos Beast and saved our land."
"Oh! Can I know the names of our kingdom's saviour?"
"Karna, You say? As in Angraj Karna, The next king Of Anga."
Karna's eyes widened in surprise at King Drupad's revelation. He had kept his true identity concealed, not expecting it to come to light in this kingdom. He took a moment to compose himself before responding respectfully.
Karna smiled humbly and introduced himself and his companions. "Your Majesty, This is Kali who possesses divine powers, This white lion is my familiar/partner, Shaurya, This is Sage Parth who guided us with his wisdom and spiritual prowess, And I am Karna."
King Drupad listened attentively, taking note of each name as Karna introduced his allies but when hearing Karna's name King Drupad's eyes widened.
"Karna, You say? As in Angraj Karna, The next king Of Anga."
Karna's eyes widened in surprise at King Drupad's revelation. He had kept his true identity concealed, not expecting it to come to light in this kingdom. He took a moment to compose himself before responding respectfully.
"Yes, Your Majesty. I am indeed Karna, the next king of Anga. I apologize for not revealing my identity earlier. King Drupad smiled warmly. "Indeed, Karna. Your deeds will be remembered for generations to come. You and your companions have not only saved us from darkness but also inspired hope and unity.
