Chapter 641: A Karmic Bond

"It's easier said than done, boy!"

Shutendōji's voice echoes in the void.

Shiing…

A blue light flickers through Shutendōji's Jōgan. The thread representing the Otsutsuki Karma entangles with other karma threads around Izuna's body, forming a net. If Izuna severs one thread, the entire net will collapse.

"This grudge of hatred! I will remember it." Izuna's eyes turn sharp.

The threads entangled in the net represent his bonds with his family, friends, and his children. If he severs these threads, then all of his friends and family will lose any memories related to him.

"Since you want to play this game in such a way, then I have to return the present you gave to me!"

A massive Susanoo Avatar appears behind Izuna. The Susanoo has Seven Sin eyes spread across its entire body.

Two of the Sin eyes replace the eyes of the Susanoo. Two Sin eyes are present on the wings of the Susanoo. Another two eyes are present on the naval and heart of the Susanoo. And finally, the last eye appears on the hilt of the sword wielded by the Susanoo.

Each Sin eye represents the power of a concept Izuna absorbed to transcend. The Sin eyes act as an anchor to that power, preventing the power from corrupting Izuna.

HAAH…

Izuna's Susanoo raises the massive sword. The Sin eyes of the Susanoo glow with a bright hue. The power of these concepts gathers in the sword.

Izuna swings the sword, releasing a vibrant light that combines and alters between black and white, reality and illusion.

SLASH…

The massive blade slices through Shutendōji's avatar, tearing it apart to shreds. The massive avatar disintegrates to nothingness.

Crack… crack…

Numerous cracks appear on Shutendōji's body. Shutendōji cast a last glance at Izuna with his Jōgan, mumbling some incomprehensible words before dispersing.

Whoosh…

Izuna's Susanoo swiftly flies and grabs the massive nebulae-like orbs left behind by Shutendōji.

He holds the orb with the shinobi world in his hands. Izuna brings the orb back to its former position.

"RELEASE!"

The Susanoo opens its palm. The massive orb shatters, freeing the entire shinobi world.

"That bastard!"

Izuna's expression turns ugly as he stares at the state of the Shinobi world. Except for the few people on the Donut Island, almost all the residents of the Shinobi world are dead. Even the people present on Donut Island are trapped in a very powerful genjutsu, much stronger than the Infinite Tsukiyomi.

"So, that's your divine Avatar!"

Seiryū floats beside Izuna with a body in his arms. He inspects Izuna's massive avatar and clicks his tongue.

"I didn't expect you to transcend in such a situation. If I have to say, that's like you; always surpassing his limits during times of crisis."

"No, it wasn't me!"

Izuna dispels his Susanoo and lands on Donut Island. Seiryū follows him with Madara's unconscious body in his hands.

Seiryū glances at the state of the world and sighs.

"The divine aura of Shutendōji corrupted this world. It's almost impossible to recover."

"Hard, YES! But, impossible, no!"

Izuna shakes his head. He closes his eyes and opens them again. A psychedelic pattern appears in his right eye. Izuna activates his Reigan.

"Your Reigan?!"

Seiryū's expression changes.

"It's almost similar to my little sister!" He murmurs.

"Our little sister!" Izuna glares at him.

"Ok! Ok!" Seiryū shakes his head.

The two sis-cons easily come to a mutual understanding.

"This power… It is a gift from her!"

Izuna clenches his fists.

Shiing…

A massive sin eye appears in the Void. The gaze of the Sin eye encompasses everything. The eye releases a beam of white light that engulfs every corner of the planet.

Wherever the light passes by, it cleanses the corruption spread by Shutendōji's divine aura. The mutated animals, plants, and humans return to their previous form.

Soon, the entire planet returns to its former state. The massive eye in the void vanishes and Izuna places a hand on his right eye.

"The divine aura of a deity like Shutendōji contains his concepts. It's not that easy to cleanse it."

Izuna pants and almost falls to the ground in exhaustion. Seiryū quickly supports him.

"Destruction is always easier than creation!" Seiryū shakes his head.

"After this event, the world won't remain the same. I can see several changes in the fate, karma, and destiny of this world."

Izuna glances at the void, staring at several intangible lines, interfering with each other. He even stares past the world and notices the fate of the shinobi world interlinked with the rest of the dimensions in the massive universe.

"Perhaps the shinobi world will become the final battlefield to settle everything!" He prophesies.

After ascending to Godhood, the abstract concept of fate, karma, and destiny is much clearer to him.

"Then we have to strengthen the foundation of this world. Prepare it for the upcoming war." Seiryū pats Izuna's shoulder.

"You are right! It's pointless worrying over this issue. Instead, we should embrace ourselves and accept this fate."

Izuna turns to the group of unconscious people in front of him. He gently walks towards a sleeping Ayaka and ruffles her hair.

"You have done a lot, Ayaka! Leave the rest to Onii-san!"

"Hey, you can't touch my angel without my permission!" Seiryū pushes Izuna away and glances at her face with a rare smile.

Izuna rolls his eyes.

"Your angel?! Ayaka is my little sister."

"She is your little sister in this life. In her previous life, she was my little sister!"

The duo starts a verbal fight, startling Ayaka.

Umm… Mmm…

Ayaka slowly opens her groggy eyes and glances at the two clowns fighting in front of her.

"You two! Stop fighting or else… Hmph… I won't talk to you." Ayaka angrily puffs her cheeks and snorts.

AH!

Izuna's and Seiryū's expression freezes. They quickly perform dogeza and ask for her forgiveness with a tense expression.

Pfft…

Ayaka burst out in laughter.

"Ok! Ok! Look at how pitiful you two look. You two did a great job. So, I will forgive you."

Izuna and Seiryū glance at each other and notice each other's state.

Indeed, after the battle with Shutendōji, both of them are in a pitiful state.

"Ayaka, you… how much have you recovered?" Izuna hesitates and asks her. Seiryū also pays attention to the matter.

"I have recovered my memories. As for my power…" Ayaka raises her hands in surrender.

"My former self used most of her power to use the fate-altering Divine technique, setting up this powerful barrier around the world, preserving the heritage of several civilizations across the universe, and using the last bit of my power to push Izuna Nii-san to Godhood. So, I don't have much power left." Ayaka shakes her head.

"If I want to return to my former power, then it will take me at least a decade. It might even take longer."

"Alright! Alright! You can leave everything to me, your godly Nii-san!" Izuna flexes his muscles.

"Oh really!" Ayaka walks in front of Izuna. She clenches her fist.

Ayaka delivers a straight punch to Izuna's guts.

Izuna's eyes turn white. His life flashes before his eyes for a second. Izuna sprawls on the ground like a dead dog.

Ayaka turns to Seiryū and the latter's hair stands up and his body turns white in fear.

"Hey, using the 'All Null' is cheating!"

Izuna regains his breath and pants heavily for a few seconds.

The 'All Null' ability of Ayaka is an extremely powerful divine ability that can erase the power of all concepts and laws. It's so powerful that the former reincarnation of Ayaka wasn't able to use any other power besides 'All Null'.

"To reach godhood in my previous life, I sealed this power away. But now, since I am not a God yet, I can use this divine technique. Also, my current body differs from before. Seiryū rolls his eyes.

"Now I look like the useless one!"

"You realized that now?" Izuna looks at him.

"…"

Seiryū rolls his eyes and opens his palm.

"Seiryū! Seiryū, where are you? I need your help desperately."

Ah!

Izuna's expression freezes as he hears his own voice.

"Look what I have here! Someone amazing, desperately begging for my help" A grin appears on Seiryū's face.

"Damn it, I admit my loss this time!" Izuna grit his teeth.
