"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND, CYRUS?! WHAT THE HECK?!"

Red shouted at Cyrus when both of them were now inside in his office, and he didn't forget to lock the door and activated the silent barrier within his office so that no one would dare to eavesdropped in their conversation inside.

He already made a commotion outside as he dragged this stubborn brat with him and Red didn't want any further headache from the gossip that would spread within the Main House System after what he had done.

'Godd*mn it! Just what f*cking hell is this brat thinking and to think he had the nerve to say this in front of the Lord God himself!'

Red thought as he sighed in frustration and glared at the stubborn brat who appeared as if he didn't do anything wrong because of his laidback attitude and that makes Red fumed in anger but restrained himself from bursting out and calm himself first.

'Seriously?! I knew Cyrus is someone who is stubborn to the bone and won't listen to others, even to the master itself, he is someone who only does things on his own accord but at the same time, I knew he wouldn't dare to endanger everyone around him with his careless thoughts but right now, I don't even know what to think anymore!'

To think this ridiculous b*stard would suddenly suggest something outrageous in front of their master, in the first place?!

"H-hey, Cyrus…. A-are you okay?"

Red asked anxiously as he saw this young man, Cyrus, who is known for his stubbornness and wouldn't yield in everyone, not even to their master, suddenly kneeled while looking down on the ground.

Of course, both of them got startled because of this young man's unusual behavior because Cyrus isn't the type of person who would yield or bow down to someone that easily.

No matter who they are, be it his senior agents and world-hoppers, the members of the Higher Councils and even to their master, the Lord God, this brat wasn't bothered in any formalities and would just outright ignore them or never on speaking terms with most of them.

He wasn't also bothered by the gossips that surrounds himself about him being nothing but a rude b*stard to any of them, but Red knew that those other agents and world-hoppers wouldn't dare to say those words straight into Cyrus' face.

There are also rumors that spread within the Main House System that how Cyrus isn't on speaking terms with Eclipse, the other successor candidate that was chosen by the Lord God himself.

Both of them are successor candidates, that's true.

However, the only difference of these two are…. Cyrus was handpicked by one of the Higher Councils and Eclipse, was chosen by the Lord God himself.

Even though the official succession hasn't been decided yet, the residence of the Main House System clearly knew within their thoughts who the next Leader of the Universal Realm would be.

Sometimes, Red finds it ridiculous when he remembers these two young men's names because of how peculiar it is.

'Just thinking about how those two choose their own names baffles me the most.'

Their names have somewhat similar definitions of Sun and Moon, but their personalities are polar opposites to their respective names, well, not entirely though.

Cyrus, his name, the definition of Scorching Radiance of the Sun, is the quietest being that Red had encountered in his whole life.

Not that Cyrus is mute or something, but this young fellow isn't someone who talks too much, unless it's related to his mission tasks and nothing else.

However, there is this one time that someone pissed Cyrus off because those agents couldn't keep their mouth shut and they even went further to speak about Cyrus plotting some rebellion against the Lord God himself and with those words alone, those morons truly crossed the line.

They had witnessed how Cyrus' usually calm demeanor snapped to those people and his blind rage almost ended those agent's lives because of their carelessness.

Good thing at that time that some of the Slayer Agents were around and managed to stop Cyrus from making such drastic move and he was also there at the scene so that incident didn't escalate that much.

However, those agents who said those blasphemous words were punished for their insolence.

At that time, Cyrus feels like some sort of scorching fire because of his sudden hot-tempered personality from that incident alone.

'That's why don't just keep your emotions at bay because there would be a time you will combust like a bomb to be detonated.'

For what Red knew about this brat, Cyrus wasn't that usually bothered by the rumors around himself and also, he is the only one who rarely stayed within the Main House System to take a break from missions as he's always outside of the realms.

Although Cyrus isn't one to speak that much but from what Red knew about his personality is that…. Cyrus doesn't care about his reputation at all, but he won't hesitate to kill someone if that person dared to speak blasphemous about the Lord God himself.

He might look uncaring because of his personality but he knew that Cyrus cared for their master as well, although he wasn't that openly showed it.

As for Eclipse, his name had the definition of Shadow of the Moonlight, he often quite appeared cheery and amiable sometimes but at the same time, he is like a shadow, who, most of the time, couldn't be seen anywhere within the Main House even though he's always with them.

'In short, that brat is practically like a f*cking ghost, even though he stayed here in the Main House System but whenever someone tried to find him, no one knows where he is and if he didn't let his presence to known then, he wouldn't be found no matter what.'

For that time, Red felt conflicted about Eclipse's situation.

He knew about Eclipse even before he became a world-hopper in this realm.

'There are some secrets that needs to be stay hidden for a while, not until the right time comes then.'

Red wanted to protect Eclipse and would do anything within his power to protect him from [them] and this duty is the oath that Red swore upon to [him].

What he didn't expect that the Lord God himself knew about it from the start and he didn't get mad at him for keeping such secrets to him.

« ... "I know there is a reason why you kept this hidden from me, Red. However, you should also know that I'm different from [them] though. You should be thankful that I made Eclipse into one of the successors so that it could solidify its position within this realm. I won't be surprised if Cyrus knew about Eclipse's identity. After all, he has the ability to read the souls of beings, such as us. But I can assure you that Cyrus can be trusted." ….. »

'Well, the Lord God had proven his statement about Cyrus could be trusted because he is the one who warned me about Eclipse's soul energy fluctuates and had advise me to investigate this matter in secrecy.'

Cyrus' ability to read someone's soul could be useful sometimes but he didn't use that much because peeking into someone's soul could be dangerous for him.

He snapped from his thoughts as he looked at Cyrus right now, who kneeled in front of their master.

'Just what is this young man is thinking about right now? I had a bad feeling about this.'

He diverted his attention away from Cyrus and then looked at their master who had a shock expression on his face but afterwards, he managed to conceal his expression immediately and looked down at Cyrus with his calm expression instead.

"Is there something that you need to say for you to kneeled down in front of me like that? Cyrus, I have known you personally for a long time and I am quite aware of your character and you're not the type of person who would do such a thing like what you're doing right now."

'Yeah, that's true though. Cyrus is one of a hell stubborn young man who didn't bother anything around him and never bother to address their master in his proper title, but the Lord God would always chuckle out because master told me that sometimes, Cyrus acted like a quiet kitten on the corner.'

For Cyrus to do this action, it seems like this young man wanted to ask something, more likely, a favor to their master.

Jules, on the other hand, looked at his other successor candidate after he said those words with a frown and then shook off his head immediately because he could tell what Cyrus was pleading for, in that stoic expression on his.

"Cyrus, what you're thinking right now wouldn't do anything with it. Not only that, but it can also put the two of us in danger should I ever use my authority to reconnect with those two."
