He had matured a lot in the last few months. He had even sold the house that he had bought after he had first moved out and had some cash in hand. He really wanted to start over again from scratch and show everyone that he had the ability to do it. They would even accept investments coming from him as though he was some sort of bad luck that nobody wanted to be associated with. He was angry yet there was nothing that he could do about it. In the end, he picked the stock market and invested most of his money into it. He had a lot of faith in his ability in the stock market. Nevertheless, he has had a string of bad luck. The stock market fluctuated wildly and what was rising up the roof the day before could drop so much that people could go bankrupt. He lost all the money that he had invested in the beginning plus whatever he had earned recently.

He was able to stop loss before it was too late but he was still pained by the loss. Perhaps the stock market wasn’t for him. During the time when he was most distressed, he saw the news of Jiang YaGe going to jail and the comments from the netizens.

Hope had spawned inside of him once again.

He was already aware of the errors of his ways and had split up with Jiang YaGe. He was well aware how he had hurt his own family for that evil woman. If only they would give him a chance, he would prove his sincerity to them.

Would his mother be willing to forgive him?

For sure she would, right? She had doted on himself and his sister so. She had even put her career on hold for the two of them. He would manage the company well and Meifang Corporation would grow lots under his management. For some reasons, he was confident that this company should go to him.

He felt a passion burning inside of him and he picked up his phone and dialed his mother’s number. Sure enough, his was still on her ban list.

Li ShiZe bought a new number and placed another call. This time, his call went through. Surprisingly, it was a man’s voice who answered the phone.

“Hello. You have reached Meifang Corporation.”

Li ShiZe was taken aback a little but he recovered quickly. “I want to speak to my mother. I am Li ShiZe, her only son.”

“Is that so?” The voice disappeared for ten or so seconds before returning. “I’m sorry, Boss said that she does not have a son. The entire country is aware that she only has two daughters. You must be with some scammer group. Why didn’t you at least do some research before you make your move?

“Pretending to be her son isn’t going to work. Here’s a suggestion though. You can always go overseas and have a sex-change operation. Do you need help scheduling for the surgery?”

Li ShiZe was so angry that he was shaking. Where did his mother find this assistant from? How dare he insulted him like this! When he returned to his mother, the first thing he was going to do was to fire this assistant who dared to mock him!

He said in a deep voice, “I am warning you. Put my mother, I am referring to your boss, on the phone within three seconds, or else­­––“

He noticed that the person on the other side had already hung up the phone before he had finished with his threat.
