Chapter 109: First Wedding IV - Kiss
Garnt took the rings from each of the bride's relatives, and with a deep breath, he turned to Ayra. His hands were steady as he gently slipped the ring onto her finger, a symbol of their commitment and love. Ayra's eyes glistened with emotion as she looked at the ring, then at Garnt, and they exchanged heartfelt vows, promising to be each other's partners in life.
"Ayra, I promise to take care of you throughout my whole life,"
With the first ring in place, Garnt moved on to Rona, the confident and fierce warrior who had captured his heart. As he placed the ring on her finger, their eyes met, and Rona's determination softened into a moment of deep affection. They too shared their vows, sealing their love in front of the cheering crowd.
Finally, it was Unami's turn. Garnt was careful and gentle as he slid the ring onto her finger, a testament to their unique and gentle love. Unami's blush deepened, and her eyes sparkled as they shared their promises to one another.
"Now that all the rings are with the brides, let's put the oil of our natural spirit to bless them," Gundo, with a smile, poured fragrant oil onto their fingers as a sign of blessing, and the crowd watched in awe as this beautiful ceremony unfolded. The atmosphere was filled with the scent of the fragrant oil, love, and joy.
"Now that the ceremony comes to an end, I ask our patriarch to kiss his brides, and seal his love," As the final part of the ceremony, Gundo asked Garnt to kiss his brides, but there was a dilemma: three brides and one groom. Garnt scratched his head, trying to come up with a solution.
Then he had an idea. He asked Ayra, Rona, and Unami to come close to him in a circle, and with the crowd's anticipation, they all leaned in at once.
[Haha~ that's one way to do it.]
Eva smiled as she found the whole group kiss a little goofy, but lovely at the same time.
In the centre of the stage, the four of them shared a group kiss, their lips meeting in a circle of love and unity. It might have seemed a little unconventional, but the villagers didn't mind or they didn't even know that it was not conventional; they cheered even louder, celebrating the unique bond these four shared.
"Let's goo!"
"Ayra! Ayra! Ayra!"
"Rona! Rona!"
The crowd started to cheer their favourite wife and the whole area was filled with noises, until they ended the kiss.
With the group kiss, the ceremony came to a heartwarming end. The crowd erupted in applause and cheers for one last time, rejoicing in the love and unity of Garnt, Ayra, Rona, and Unami. The four of them stood together, holding hands and smiling,
"With this now Garnt accept Rona, Ayra, and Unami as his wives for his lifetime. Also here's a little announcement. From now on, if you want to be recognised as a couple, you need to do the same thing, but don't worry, we have so many wedding planners ready to help you,"
Gundo encouraged more people to get married like this. After all, she was just following Garnt's teachings about how people should be more civilized, aiming for something more special in a relationship than just having sex like wild animals and then leaving.

After the heartwarming ceremony, the villagers gathered to enjoy a lavish feast. The aroma of tender steaks wafted through the air, and people couldn't help but compliment the food.
"These steaks are amazing! They taste even better than before," one villager exclaimed, savouring each bite.
"I can't believe how tender they are. It's like the tastiest thing I have ever eaten!" another chimed in.
The only difference between the normal late night meat and the current meat was the amount of salt, and that alone made the meat taste like night and day because of how different it was.
The tables were filled with a variety of dishes, from flavorful curries to refreshing drinks. The villagers relished the delightful spread, taking in every delicious morsel. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, chatter, and the sounds of clinking wooden cups.
Amidst the delightful feast, the attention of the entire crowd suddenly shifted to a group of people sitting at a nearby table. Before them lay a colourful array of chillies, each of varying sizes and shades, from vibrant red to deep green and even shades of purple.
Curiosity piqued, a villager asked, "What's going on over there with all those chillies?"
A mischievous grin crossed one of the villagers' faces as they replied, "Oh, you're in for a treat. This, my friends, is a great chilli-eating challenge! I won't personally participate, but if you want you can. But I warn you, it's impossible."
"What do you mean by impossible?" He asked curious and scared by the other villager's tone.
"Even patriarch couldn't go beyond fourth chilly. They are not what we used to eat in our day-to-day life, you will understand when the contest starts,"
Among the faces that participated in this tournament were Kara, Kiriah and Baktou, also for some reason, Ganna was also there. She might have thought that showing her braveness to her kids would make them forgive her, but she was only about to regret her decision to participate in this contest.
As the crowd leaned in to get a closer look, the group at the table began their spicy contest. They took turns picking chillies from the assortment and bravely biting into them, faces contorting in a mix of delight and pain since it was just the first chille.
"Whoa, look at them go! I couldn't handle that level of spiciness," someone in the crowd marvelled, while others laughed at him, calling him a "loser."
The participants continued to test their heat tolerance, showcasing their ability to enjoy the fiery flavours. Cheers and applause erupted as each person took on a new, more challenging chilli, their faces turning red, eyes watering, and beads of sweat forming on their foreheads.
"Damn it! Why did you put my name in this, sister?" Kiriah was crying, but he still didn't want to give up after all, Baktou, who was sitting next to him, was eating twice the amount he was.
"Huh? You want me to suffer alone? Serves you right, after all, you get to compete with Baktou." It was just their normal brother and sister fight, but the spice really caused them to swear so much that Garnt knew if he kept a bucket below them, he could probably create a small fish tank out of that.
Eva, who had been observing the spectacle, couldn't help but laugh and shake her head.
"I thought the wedding ceremony was unique, but this chili-eating challenge takes the cake! Haha~ This is funny."
The crowd's attention remained fixated on the chilli enthusiasts as they embarked on a daring culinary adventure, bringing an extra dash of excitement to the festive day.
And one by one, they started to give up, and those who couldn't reach till the end didn't know what kind of price awaited them.
Kara was almost close to entering the last few people that would get the chance to eat the last chilli, but before she could do that she felt her whole face going numb and her hand stop working for a minute.
Garnt who noticed this quickly ordered her to stop. "Kara, stop! She can't continue,"
"I can..maybe I can.. can I really? Garnt, why don't you see me as a woman? I'm a big woman that can eat a lot of chillis, please put a ring on my finger," She started mumbling like a crazy girl, and Gundo had to send her to the medics.
"Garnt, is this really okay?" Ayra asked worried about the situation, and he just smiled. "Don't worry, these are not even the hottest chillies, none of these chillis are able to harm anyone. I tested all of them personally and removed all the dangerous ones,"
Rona and Unami both smiled knowing he wouldn't put his own people in danger just for fun, and their attention went back to the only two members that managed to eat everything until the last chilli.
"As expected, It's Kiriah and Baktou, but who is going to win this? Are they both going to win this or someone is going to give up? What do you think crowd?" Garnt asked.
Everyone went crazy from this tournament, and people started to cheer just like earlier. Some of them wanted Kiriah to win, but most of them for some reason wanted Baktou to win.
[It looks like Baktou is more popular. Well, no wonder, after all, he has more merits with him.]
In a dramatic climax, Kiriah and Baktou both picked up the last chilli and took a bite at the same time. The tension in the air was palpable, and the crowd held their breath.
But then, Kiriah suddenly threw up the chilli, unable to handle the intense spiciness. Baktou, on the other hand, managed to swallow his bite without flinching.
The crowd erupted into cheers, shouting and clapping for Baktou's victory. Garnt declared the event a success and promised Baktou a special gift for his achievement.
As soon as Garnt finished saying those words, like a maniac, he started to drink milk, desperately trying to cool down the fiery sensation in his mouth but it wasn't enough for him. He kept looking around finding something else to drink, then suddenly a woman holding another mug of milk came forward and pointed it at him.
"Drink this," She said in a meek tone, and Baktou started to gulp the whole thing without even knowing what the drink was, but when he gained his vision back, he was surprised to see Telvi standing in front of him with a smile.
