Primitive Man

Chapter 107: First Wedding II - Wedding day

Another week passed while Garnt and his village remained rather intense, with preparations reaching a fevered pitch as the wedding day finally arrived. The entire village bustled with excitement and anticipation as the sun painted the sky with a warm, golden hue. The air was filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers, and the sound of joyful laughter echoed through the bustling streets.

[It's time. You have been getting ready for this, so let's just enjoy the ceremony.]

Eva sounded more relaxed than usual, and she wanted to physically hug Garnt and congratulate him, but she knew it was not possible at least right now.

"Yeah, I won't let anything ruin this moment for my girls, as well as my villagers," Garnt muttered, as he kept looking at the area, where the ceremony was being held.

The heartwarming scene unfolded as the villagers gathered in a beautifully decorated area, where the aroma of delicious food wafted through the air, making everyone's mouths water.

Around the ceremony site, the aroma of sizzling meat grilling on open fires filled the atmosphere. Skewers of marinated kebabs, succulent roasts, and tender steaks cooked to perfection, and their savoury scent enticed all who passed by.

Garnt had to spend some extra points collecting enough salt for all the foods, but he wasn't disappointed after all he wanted everything to be perfect and it also showed how important salt is.

The culinary symphony was not limited to just meat; there was a tantalizing array of dishes, including fragrant curries, spicy foods, and trays of sweets that glistened with honey and sprinkled with nuts.

Children, their faces adorned with bright smiles, played merrily in the open spaces nearby. They ran around, their laughter and giggles providing a musical backdrop to the festivities. Some of the older kids participated in a game of tag, while the younger ones tumbled and rolled in the lush green grass. The children's playful energy added to the overall joy of the day.

"Patriarch, we soon want to see your kids like this,"

"Yes! Yes! Imagine how cute and talented his kids would be, I can't wait to see them,"

Some elderly ladies muttered while they were waiting for the ceremony to start, enjoying their time chatting with each other and talking about rumours and many more things.

As Maro, his loyal pet wolf, approached him with a wooden box in her mouth, Garnt's heart raced even faster. He had been looking forward to this moment for a long time, and the arrival of the brides added to the anticipation. He knelt down to gently take the box from Maro, offering her a fond scratch behind her ears.

Feeling rather spoiled, Maro started to release some delighted sounds that were unlike for a proud wolf like her and started to act like a domesticated dog with her tongue out.

"Thank you, Maro," Garnt whispered to his faithful companion. He then carefully opened the wooden box to reveal a pair of beautiful handcrafted rings. They were full-metal rings, but rather than looking like a sword, they looked as if they were made out of silver.

However, they were not. Instead, the talented blacksmiths had managed to polish the iron so much that they began to shine. On top of the rings, there were some small, unpolished gems that Garnt had managed to find.

If these were given to a woman in Eva's era, they would certainly cancel the marriage and leave while holding their wedding dresses. But for primitive people, this looked like the most valuable treasure.

These rings symbolized the bond that was about to be formed, and they were a testament to the love he and the brides shared.

"Woah! Patriarch, they look amazing. As expected of you," One of the older girls, who noticed the rings muttered as she helped the older ladies to eat by bringing them food since they were too old to walk around like young people.

"This is not only me. Our blacksmiths deserve half of the praise, after all, I just gave them the design and they nailed it." He didn't hog all the praise and decided to give them where they should be.

But while they were talking Garnt started to hear the noises of horses galloping in their direction, and Garnt knew it was time so he quickly got onto the wedding stage and asked the organisers to prepare everyone to witness the ceremony.

The kids that were running around gathered and hid next to their parents scared by the horses, but even some adults were scared since it wasn't just the horses that picked their interest.

"What is that? No way, a walking house? How did Patriarch manage to make this?"

"I heard that if you feed those horses, they will start growing houses, I'm not sure,"

"Mama! I'm scared,"

"Don't worry, it won't harm us and it's not even alive. It's built out of wood and helps us carry stuff without having to carry them. They are really helpful." One of the workers who participated in building these carriages muttered hoping that he would look like a genius and he was right, as others started questioning him.

"Ehhhh~ you're amazing, tell us more. What does it look like inside? How does it work exactly?"

The crowd started to go insane, but soon they were even mesmerized by something, that they didn't expect to see.

Then the first person to get out of the carriage was Ayra, wearing a beautiful light brown long dress adorned with a silky looking extension, with a nice hairstyle, which still makes her rock the heart of any man as she is a charming mature beauty.

Both Rona's people and villagers applauded and praised Ayra as they think she looks very beautiful and they also like her very much because she is such a kind person to them.

[Nice, as expected these dresses look very much primitive, but they match. Glad, we decided to keep the brown colour.]

Eva complimented Ayra's dress and her looks, after all even she would consider her one of the top beauties in the village, so a little makeover would make miracles to her looks.

"And she is popular too, I guess I'm lucky to have all these amazing women love me as their lover," Garnt said with a grin on his face knowing his heart was going crazy for these girls.

She starts walking towards the stage while holding the flowers with both hands. As she walks down the flower corridor, she smiles with a slightly flushed expression, making her look even more adorable.

"So cute!"

"Beautiful!"

"Adorable!"

"Is that really Captain Ayra that teaches us to fight? No way,"

Some of them even expressed their disbelief, unable to reconcile the warrior they knew with the stunning woman before them.

However, the surprises were far from over. As Ayra reached the halfway point of the flower corridor, another pair of beautiful legs emerged from the same carriage.

It was Rona, looking absolutely enchanting in her wedding dress. The dress was designed with a touch of the village's primitive style, and it perfectly complemented her beauty. What caught everyone's attention, including the women in the crowd, was the sight of Rona's toned abs, subtly revealed through her wedding attire and perfectly tied black hair, which revealed her back muscles.

The onlookers couldn't contain their admiration and affection for Rona. They shouted their love and admiration for her, just as they did for Ayra. Even Garnt, who had been grinning at the attention Ayra was receiving, couldn't help but be entranced by Rona's beauty. His heart raced for both of these amazing women who loved him so deeply.

"Our leader! Go ahead and show you are the woman,"

"Rona! Rona! Rona!"

The competitive spirit in the crowd grew, and it seemed like this might turn into a friendly rivalry between the two women fans. However, just as the cheering reached its zenith, the next person emerged from the carriage, and the atmosphere shifted dramatically.

Unami, with her not typical shy and unassuming demeanour, stepped out, and the crowd fell silent, their cheers abruptly hushed. The surprise on their faces was palpable, as they were taken aback by the transformation in Unami. Her cheeks turned a shade of pink that rivalled the brightest cherry, and her eyes sparkled with a mix of embarrassment and adoration.

Unlike Ayra and Rona, Unami wasn't dressed in a grand wedding gown. Instead, she wore a simpler, more modest attire that highlighted her natural beauty. Her hair was elegantly tied back, and she carried an air of innocence that made her look even more charming.

Gasps of astonishment and admiration rippled through the crowd as they beheld this adorable side of Unami. The expressions of love and affection that had been directed at Ayra and Rona now found a new target, and the crowd erupted with cheers once again, this time in celebration of Unami.

"Unami! Unami! Unami!" they chanted, their voices filled with genuine affection for the shy and lovely girl.

Garnt couldn't help but smile at the outpouring of love for all three of these incredible women in his life. With the crowd's enthusiasm now divided among the trio, he realized that this unique ceremony was about to begin, celebrating the love and bonds between them that transcended convention and expectations.
