That's why I made a Japanese-style abacus and normally use that one. It's a compact one with only 12 rows but after all the Japanese-style one is easy to use right. Since I didn't have any bamboo it was somewhat difficult making it. In my past life, it was a technique that I learned when I was still a brat but I guess it's something you remember with your body.
