Chapter 76: Chapter 76: Second Package

Even after leaving White Hair's villa and returning to the Helicarrier, Sitwell was still terrified.

Although he was a top agent with a high level of mental fortitude, the helplessness he felt in the presence of a being far stronger than himself was something he never wanted to experience again.

He knocked on the door to Alexander Pierce's office and entered after receiving permission.

On the way back to the Helicarrier, Sitwell had already briefed Alexander Pierce on the details of the operation. Now, standing before Pierce, he immediately asked, puzzled:

"Sir, do you think White Hair will really keep his promise and not interfere with our plans?"

Alexander Pierce turned around, looking at his capable subordinate from in front of the floor-to-ceiling window. Since Crossbones' death, Sitwell had become his only right-hand man.

With a tired expression, Pierce replied,

"Even if he doesn't, there is nothing we can do. The reason we handed the Obelisk over to him was just to buy time.

According to my sources, the military has a new plan targeting White Hair, and we need to keep him appeased until that plan is implemented!"

"But the military has never succeeded with any plan against White Hair!"

Sitwell instinctively retorted.

Alexander Pierce fell silent for a moment before continuing:

"Our primary objective remains the Project Insight. If we can execute this plan, Hydra will become the rulers of the world.

By then, with control over all the world's power, we will certainly find a way to kill White Hair!

Besides, I can't wait to see the look of horror on Nick Fury's face.

I wonder how he will react when he discovers that S.H.I.E.L.D. is actually Hydra?"

As he spoke, Pierce's frown, caused by worries about White Hair, finally eased, and a joyful expression returned to his face.

Seeing this, Sitwell promptly and respectfully added,

"Your plan is bound to succeed, Hail Hydra!"

Alexander Pierce smiled as well,

"Hail Hydra!"

Outside the office, two former Hydra agents, now loyal agents of the Alex's organization, heard the commotion inside and exchanged knowing smiles.

They were looking forward to this as well!

After sending Sitwell away, Alex used his powers to draw his clothes over and put them on. He then lightly stomped the ground, using his Six Eyes' precise energy manipulation to disperse the energy at his feet, erasing all traces of blood without leaving a single spot!

The surrounding environment instantly returned to its pristine state. Alex then used the Mind Stone to calm the emotions of the many Hollywood actresses around him and continued to train his skills.

But he hadn't trained for long when his Six Eyes once again detected two figures flying rapidly towards him.

Unlike the impatient agents of Hydra, Alex's eyes lit up with excitement when he saw who it was—it was his delivery!

With a mere thought, a portal swiftly opened in front of him, so quickly that Thor, who was flying towards it, couldn't react in time and crashed right into it.

Thor's face turned pale when he suddenly saw Alex before him. Being unexpectedly transported, he could not retrieve his beloved hammer, which was about to strike Alex!

Although he knew Alex was powerful, he still didn't believe Alex could withstand a direct hit from Mjolnir.

After all, this was a weapon blessed by Odin, the Allfather. Unless one had power close to or surpassing Odin's, it was nearly impossible to withstand it head-on.

He shouted a warning,

"Alex, get out of the way!"

However, Alex did not move. His focus was entirely on Jane Foster, who Thor was holding in his arms!

In the energy vision of his Six Eyes, he saw a torrent of red energy entwined within her body—an energy more scorching than the sun, more majestic than the galaxy!

If this energy erupted all at once, it could easily destroy the entire Milky Way. Yet, despite its terrifying nature, it intertwined with Jane Foster, a mere mortal, in a strange fluid state, slowly draining her life.

It was clear that this was the Reality Stone, the package Alex had been eagerly waiting for.

As the hammer was about to hit him, Alex extended a finger and gently tapped Mjolnir!

Vector Manipulation

The immense force of Mjolnir was immediately reflected back with no loss, rushing towards Thor!

Moreover, because Alex was excited, he instinctively released a repulsive force on Mjolnir, causing it to fly back even faster!

Boom!

A clap of thunder resounded in the sky. Mjolnir hit Thor square in the chest, sending him flying instantly!

The terrifying force sent Thor flying out of the seaside villa, crashing into the distant sea and creating a massive wave tens of meters high!

Ignoring the airborne Thor, Alex grabbed Jane Foster's hand and immediately used his RCT while sensing the Reality Stone with his Six Eyes, gaining confidence.

The level 4 RCT could indeed restore the Reality Stone to its solid state!

Holding Jane Foster's hand tightly, Alex spoke to her with deep emotion:

"Miss Foster, don't worry, I will save you!"

Jane Foster pointed to the massive wave about to engulf the seaside villa, just a few dozen meters away. Before she could say anything, Alex remembered Thor. While continuously using his RCT with one hand tightly grasping Jane's, he stretched his other hand behind him.

A tremendous repulsive force emanated from his palm, instantly dissipating the massive wave and smoothing the sea surface. Then, a terrifying gravitational force was released from his palm, precisely targeting Thor hundreds of meters below the sea and pulling him over!

Under the immense gravity, Thor was rapidly drawn toward Alex, and even Mjolnir in his hand was no exception. It was moving even faster than when he wielded it himself!

Having been struck so hard by Mjolnir, Thor, who had not yet awakened his full powers as the God of Thunder, was left dazed and only regained his senses after a moment!

The moment he saw Alex, he recalled what had just happened, staring at him in shock:

"Alex, you—you... you stopped Mjolnir with just one finger!"

In Thor's mind, no one had ever been able to block Mjolnir directly except for his father, Odin—let alone with just a finger!

If someone could block Mjolnir, that meant they could lift it and wield the power of Thor!

It felt like he had been betrayed!

However, Alex, in a great mood because he was about to obtain the Reality Stone, smiled brightly at Thor:

"It's just a hammer. Why are you so surprised?

But your girlfriend is really something... Oh, I mean, the Reality Stone inside her is really something. I can help you remove it, so just trust me with your girlfriend!"

Knowing that Jane would be saved, Thor didn't feel as happy as he had imagined; instead, he felt an even deeper sense of betrayal!
