Chapter 66: Chapter 66: Acquiring A Ship

Alex activated the energy within his body. Under the precise control of his Six Eyes, he channeled it into the corpses of the three generals, including Corvus. Under the scorching effect of the energy, their bodies, along with the shattered blood and flesh, turned to ashes.

After dealing with the corpses, Alex used his Six Eyes' penetrating vision to discover numerous Black Order soldiers rushing toward him.

Even though their leader was dead and they knew they couldn't win, as the most elite force under Thanos, the Black Order soldiers continued to charge at their enemy.

Faced with so many enemies, Alex would have previously unleashed his Purple to send them all to the afterlife. But now, he had a better idea: subdue the Black Order Corps without damaging the spaceship.

After all, he still needed the spaceship; it couldn't be completely destroyed.

As the Black Order soldiers were about to reach him, Alex raised his right hand, held up his index and middle fingers, and wrapped his middle finger around his index finger.

Completing this simple hand sign, he calmly said, "Domain Expansion – Unlimited Void."

The energy within his body boiled over, rapidly converting into pure cursed energy and then immediately being consumed! Endless amounts of information enveloped the entire spaceship, and every creature within was pulled into the interior of the Infinity, forced to repeatedly experience sensations and transmissions, creating an overwhelming amount of useless information.

At the moment of the domain expansion, all of the Black Order Corps soldiers stopped moving.

Seeing the scene before him, Alex's face lit up with a bright smile, and his body instantly disappeared from its original position, reappearing five meters away.

He flashed continuously, moving to each Black Order soldier, infusing energy into their bodies. As Alex's figure flickered through the spaceship, beams of light erupted inside; these were the explosions caused by the energy Alex had injected into the soldiers, reducing them to ashes. The amount of energy needed to kill these soldiers was nothing to Alex; even the energy he had absorbed earlier from the spaceship's energy rays was more than enough to turn all the soldiers into ash!

Utilizing his teleportation ability repeatedly, Alex moved like a ghost, traversing all areas of the spaceship in a short amount of time, eventually returning to the control room.

Within that short span, he had eliminated all the Black Order Corps soldiers, leaving nothing behind but some residual ash.

Inside the control room, Alex paused momentarily, letting his body recover from the strain caused by continuous spatial jumps. Thanks to his Reversal Technique, he quickly returned to his peak state. After eliminating all enemies, Alex opened a portal to the Chitauri mothership, allowing Tony and the others to board the ship called Sanctuary II.

He asked Tony, who had just entered the Sanctuary II and was looking around: "Tony, can you control this ship?"

Tony confidently replied:

"Of course! You're looking at the greatest inventor here—there's nothing I can't do... But, where is everyone else on this ship? Why haven't I seen anyone?"

"I just dealt with them."

"What?!"

Meanwhile, on Thanos' other ship, Sanctuary I, with the passing time, Thanos grew increasingly agitated. He questioned Ebony Maw:

"Why haven't Corvus and the others returned after so long?"

Ebony Maw, equally puzzled, replied to Thanos: "I'll inquire about them right away..."

He tried to contact Corvus and the others on Sanctuary II, but since the communication device had been damaged by Alex and was being repaired by Tony, his attempts were doomed to fail. Unable to get through, a foreboding feeling gripped Ebony Maw's heart. He muttered, "Could it be...?"

He immediately pulled up the surveillance footage from inside Sanctuary II, and both he and Thanos saw...

They saw the white-haired Earthling moving against the flow of energy beams, saw the Black Dwarf's head being crushed, saw Proxima Midnight's upper body obliterated by a terrifying repulsion force, and saw Corvus' body repeatedly crushed and regenerated by the same repulsion force until even his supposedly indestructible blade was destroyed by a purple sphere...

Ebony Maw fell silent, as did the Mad Titan, who made the entire universe tremble with fear.

Thanos' already deeply furrowed face twisted further with anger, but he knew he couldn't go and avenge them now. The power displayed by that white-haired Earthling who had easily destroyed Corvus' weapon was already on par with him, if not greater.

Moreover, it was clear that this was just what the Earthling had shown—Corvus and the others had been unable to push him to use his full power!

In the dead silence, the anger on Thanos' face gradually faded into calmness. He couldn't rush to avenge his men; he had a greater mission to accomplish. So, he reluctantly said to Ebony Maw, "Focus all efforts on finding the Power Stone. Only after obtaining it can we invade Earth."

Faced with this terrifying white-haired Earthling, even the Mad Titan, who made the universe's major factions shudder in fear and committed countless massacres, had no choice but to lie low.

Because, simply put, he couldn't win!

Thanos... admitted defeat... for now that is

Hearing Tony's response, Alex was pleased and asked him to repair the ship's control room and teach Black Widow and the others how to control the ship.

The ship would serve as the long-term base of S.H.I.E.L.D.

If it was to be used as a base, then the ship needed a new name; "Sanctuary II" was clearly unsuitable. After a moment of thought, Alex finally decided on a new name for the ship: "Ark"—a vessel of salvation that would bring "peace" to the various forces across the universe!

Leaving Tony and the others on the ship, Alex opened a portal and returned to the top of Stark Tower.

He approached the portal generator, and the Mind Stone flew out of his pocket dimension, with vast amounts of energy radiating from it and surrounding Alex's arm.

Alex suddenly extended his hand through the almost impenetrable energy shield and grabbed the Tesseract.

Sensing the immense spatial energy within, Alex's fingers exerted a slight force, and under a flash of black and red lightning, the Tesseract shattered in his hand, revealing the blue space stone hidden within!

Under the effect of the Infinity Technique, the two cosmic gems orbited around Alex, channeling enormous amounts of energy into his body.

With the continuous sound of system notifications ringing in his ears, Alex's body reached its limit again, having absorbed a massive amount of energy.

With the accumulation of this energy, combined with his recent gains, the template fusion degree greatly increased:

The template fusion was soon to reach 100%, and the next character template was about to unlock!

The corners of Alex's mouth curled up in satisfaction, though he knew there were still things that could make him even happier...

He opened a portal to the helicarrier and asked Agent Hill, who was quite technically skilled: "Tell me the current locations of all the generals in the military!"
