Chapter 63: Chapter 63: Arrival of the Black Order

With the RCT upgraded once again, Alex used a space blade to cut a wound on his palm. Under the effects of the Level 3 RCT, the wound instantly healed! The healing speed had increased several times compared to Level 2; if Level 2's healing was similar to Wolverine's, then Level 3's speed had completely surpassed it. For him now, keeping both the RCT and Infinity constantly active posed no difficulty whatsoever.

Additionally, besides the increased healing speed, the Level 3 RCT could now be used on others.

Based on Alex's guess, the Level 4 RCT would undergo a significant transformation. Under its influence, he might be able to reverse his own state — from immortality to manipulating his body's age, freely adjusting between youth and old age. This power could also be applied to other living beings and even inanimate objects.

Once the RCT reached Level 4, he should be able to forcibly extract the Reality Stone from Jane Foster's body.

Closing the system panel, Alex looked ahead.

At this moment, the Hulk, possessing the Frost Giant's physiology, was rampaging through the Chitauri soldiers, tearing them apart. Behind him, Captain America and others continued to eliminate any Chitauri soldiers left in his wake. Along the path to the mothership's control room, no Chitauri soldier survived.

The Chitauri soldiers, despite their desperate attempts to block them, couldn't hinder Alex and his team in the slightest. In no time, they arrived at the command room.

Boom!

With a loud noise, Hulk punched open the metal door of the command room.

Alex and the others slowly entered. The Chitauri commander, hiding behind the remaining soldiers, shouted a warning to Alex, who was clearly the leader of the Earthlings:

"Earthlings, we are the vanguard under the command of the Mad Titan! We have already sent a distress signal. The terrifying Black Order will soon arrive. If you leave now, I will forgive your earlier offense!"

Alex, seeming not to hear, continued to walk toward the Chitauri commander. Seeing the terrifying Earthling approaching rapidly, the commander's face showed a look of panic. He hastily ordered the soldiers in front of him:

"Fire! Shoot him down!"

A barrage of energy beams shot from the high-tech weapons, hitting Alex's body. But these beams couldn't harm him; they merely provided him with a negligible amount of energy.

Amid the dense energy beams and the Chitauri's despairing gazes, the soldiers closest to Alex came within five meters of him.

The leading Chitauri soldier's body was instantly cut in half. Before the upper body could fall, it was slashed again from top to bottom, dividing it into four pieces. Subsequently, dense, invisible slashes enveloped the Chitauri soldiers, shredding their bodies into misty clouds of blood that could not approach Alex, remaining five meters away from him.

By the time Alex reached the Chitauri commander, all the soldiers were dead, leaving the commander alone.

Facing the terrifying Earthling before him, overwhelmed by intense fear and despair, the commander's emotions predictably broke down:

"Stay back, you monster!"

Reaching for a device resembling an earpiece from a nearby table, he placed it in his ear. With the help of the universal language translator, Alex finally understood the commander's words. With a slight curl of his finger, the Chitauri commander was suspended midair by a twisted gravitational force, his body trembling uncontrollably under the immense pressure, bones cracking audibly.

Alex smiled warmly and said to him, "Look at your ugly figure, like a contorted insect. So, the notorious invaders of the universe can shed tears of fear as well?"

Just as Alex was about to say more, a coarse voice suddenly boomed within the control room:

"Earthling, I order you to release him! Only the Mad Titan has the authority to deal with his subordinates!"

A tall humanoid figure with gray skin was projected by the control room's equipment. He warned Alex:

"Earthling, release him, cease your resistance, and submit to Thanos' judgment. Only then will you have a slight chance of survival!"

In the deep space in front of the control room, a massive wormhole rapidly formed. A warship several times larger than the Chitauri mothership emerged from the wormhole. In its command center, Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, and Cull Obsidian watched the Earthlings who had breached the Chitauri mothership through a projection.

While Cull Obsidian issued a notice to the Earthlings, Corvus Glaive was conversing with his wife, Proxima Midnight:

"The Chitauri are truly worthless, defeated by mere Earthlings! But even so, the Chitauri are still under Lord Thanos' command. Attacking Lord Thanos' subordinates means the cowardly Earthlings must pay the price!"

Proxima Midnight agreed, "We need to show the Earthlings with blood the consequences of provoking Lord Thanos' army."

They did not believe that the weak Earthlings could withstand an assault by the Black Order, nor did they think the Earthlings would dare resist.

However, while they chatted, Cull Obsidian suddenly roared:

"No, you wretch! Damned insect! I will tear you apart!"

Then they heard Cull Obsidian saying:

"That damned Earthling refused us, killed the Chitauri commander, and even dared to challenge the great Black Order!"

Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight, upon hearing this, also showed anger

"How dare they challenge the Black Order? It seems the foolish Earthlings are unaware of our reputation! But ignorance does not permit disrespect. It is time to teach them the terror of domination. Attack the Chitauri mothership and turn the Earthlings on it into space dust!"

Under Corvus Glaive's command, the ship's energy cannons quickly charged. After a brief period, they fired a powerful energy beam toward the Chitauri mothership!

Watching the energy beam streak through the dark cosmos, heading swiftly for the Chitauri mothership, the faces of the three Black Order members lit up with triumphant smiles.

Just as they expected the Earthlings to be turned into cosmic dust with the Chitauri mothership in the next moment, they suddenly realized that the terrifying energy beam had stopped right in front of the mothership!

Ahead of the energy beam, a white-haired Earthling was blocking the path with a single hand, preventing it from moving forward!
