Chapter 59: Chapter 59: Alex Shield

The template fusion degree reached 79%, just a little more, and it would reach 80%, unlocking new abilities. However, at this moment, the energy absorption could not sustain the massive energy of the Mind Stone for long. After just a short time, Alex's body felt extremely fatigued. So, he could only store the Mind Stone in his pocket dimension and wait for his body to recover before absorbing it further.

Now that his energy absorption had reached level 4, he was only slightly stronger than the Black King. It wasn't unexpected that he couldn't fully harness the power of the Infinity Stones yet. However, once the energy absorption reached level 5, he expected to handle the energy of the Infinity Stones completely, maybe even several at once!

Thinking as he acted, Captain America and the others suddenly had a bad feeling about the white-haired mutant before them. But before they could resist, the power of the Mind Stone acted upon them, completely twisting their thoughts!

"Sir!"

Including Loki, everyone respectfully bowed to Alex.

Looking at the group before him, Alex's lips curled into a smile. He said to them, "Return to the Helicarrier. Let's give Nick Fury a big gift!"

"Yes, sir!"

Due to Alex's influence, the relationship between S.H.I.E.L.D. and Tony Stark was not as close at this time, so Tony Stark had not arrived yet. The group boarded the aircraft and headed toward the Helicarrier.

During the flight, Alex studied the symbiotes on them. Loki was merged with Riot, Captain America with another one called Serum, and Black Widow with Scream.

For some reason, these symbiotes all descended simultaneously and landed near the party. Alex took a part of each symbiote and used the Mind Stone to erase their original wills, mixing them together, and thus a new symbiote was born!

However, because it had no independent will, it was more like a piece of equipment, something that could change form at will! The symbiote spread over his body, swallowing his clothes and transforming into new ones. Sensing the slight increase in power, Alex smiled—it was barely noticeable.

The aircraft soon arrived at the Helicarrier. Upon landing, Captain America opened the door, where Nick Fury was already waiting.

Nick Fury smiled at Captain America and said, "Welcome back, Captain. Now, where is Loki?"

With a serious face, Captain America said to Nick Fury, "He's on the plane, but hey, Fury, I've got a gift for you!"

Hearing this, Nick Fury's pupils suddenly contracted. He knew Captain America would never say something like that! There was only one possibility—Captain America, like Hawkeye, had been controlled! He immediately pressed the pager he carried, calling for Captain Marvel.

Simultaneously, a white-haired figure emerged from the plane. Alex looked at the grim-faced Nick Fury, glancing at the pager he had secretly pressed. Although Alex could have stopped him, he didn't, and his smile grew even more delighted:

"Calling Captain Marvel?"

Seeing the shock in Nick Fury's eyes, Alex said slowly, "But she won't be able to save you, right, my loyal subordinate, Nick Fury?"

Hearing Alex's words, Nick Fury immediately realized what was happening. He quickly ordered the surrounding agents, "Fire! Attack the white-haired mutant!"

But the surrounding agents ignored his orders and instead aimed their guns at him!

Seeing this, Nick Fury's heart sank. Then, he looked at the white-haired mutant and said viciously, "You've controlled them. You possess mind control powers! No, you've obtained that Scepter and can wield its power even better than Loki!"

As the most elite of agents, Nick Fury quickly analyzed the situation. But knowing so much only made him more desperate. Seeing Alex's noncommittal response, Nick Fury's face darkened further, and he growled at him, "You think you've won, but you've offended too many forces. Soon, you'll die a miserable death."

Ignoring the defeated man's rant, Alex spoke kindly to Nick Fury: "Don't worry, my loyal subordinate. That won't happen, and you'll help me ensure it doesn't, won't you?"

With those words, and a flash of yellow light from the Mind Stone, Nick Fury's bulging eyes gradually calmed. He looked at Alex as if he were gazing at a god and bowed respectfully, saying, "Yes, sir. I will dedicate my entire life and energy to you."

Having controlled Nick Fury and the surrounding agents, Alex smiled in satisfaction. If S.H.I.E.L.D. could be HYDRA, why couldn't it be Alex Shield? Thus, Alex Shield was largely established!

Afterward, led by Nick Fury, the group advanced deeper into the Helicarrier, controlling every agent they encountered along the way. Finally, they arrived at a laboratory, where only one person was present—the Hulk, Dr. Bruce Banner.

Dr. Banner first addressed the entering Nick Fury: "Sir, I need more time to locate the Tesseract's whereabouts..."

But he suddenly froze, unable to speak further, because he saw, behind Nick Fury, a white-haired man who should never have been there, smiling at him. Although that smile was warm and sunny, it sent chills down his spine! He had too deep an impression of this man, to the point of recently having constant nightmares about the demonic horrors associated with him!

Then, he heard the white-haired mutant, who followed Nick Fury into the room, say kindly and calmly: "Dr. Banner, I'm sorry to trouble you, but I have some clothes that need your touch."

Several grotesque symbiotes immediately surfaced on Captain America and the others, writhing ominously behind the white-haired mutant, radiating menace and malice!

Dr. Banner: "Hulk, Hulk, come out quickly!"
