Chapter 50: Limitless Technique Lv4

Chapter 50: Chapter 50: Limitless Technique Lv4

High in the sky, aboard a massive aircraft carrier, Nick Fury watched the footage from the surveillance satellites, his gaze deep and contemplative. Coulson stood beside him, reporting the intelligence about the disappearance of the White House:

"Alex first killed hundreds of dissenters, then dozens of soldiers. During the battle with the X-Men, he killed almost a thousand of civilians before finally destroying the White House."

"This mutant is absolutely unfit to be an Avenger. Any plans we had involving him are now canceled. He has no regard for the law and acts on his whims. He is the greatest threat to Earth at present." After hearing Coulson's report, Nick Fury concluded.

Coulson was well aware of the problem, but S.H.I.E.L.D. currently had no way of dealing with the White-Haired Mutant. Just as Nick Fury was about to take out his pager to call Captain Marvel, he heard Coulson say:

"Aren't there still the legendary Eternals on Earth, who are supposed to be protecting humanity? If before they did nothing, this time, with the White-Haired Mutant killing thousands, the Eternals who are committed to protecting humanity will definitely not sit idly by. We could use them to deal with the White-Haired Mutant."

The existence of the Eternals had always been recorded in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s database. Nick Fury was wary of these superhumans with powerful abilities because he didn't trust that the Eternals were purely protecting humanity—they surely had other hidden agendas! But if it meant pitting the Eternals against the White-Haired Mutant, it would be a win-win situation for S.H.I.E.L.D.

Nick Fury cast an appreciative glance at Coulson and instructed him, "Find a way to inform the Eternals about what the White-Haired Mutant has done, draw their attention, and lure them into attacking that bastard."

At the same time, in another office on the aircraft carrier, Alexander Pierce was fixated on the screen showing the unrestrained and powerful mutant, his eyes gleaming with opportunity. He saw this as a chance—Hydra and the unrestrained White-Haired Mutant were a perfect match! He secretly sent out a message, attempting to contact and recruit the White-Haired Mutant.

...

After turning the White House into history, wiping it off the map, Alex moved into Tony Stark's luxurious seaside mansion, continually practicing his skills.

Now that he had caused such a commotion, his relationship with S.H.I.E.L.D. was undoubtedly shattered. He could no longer learn the exact location of the Tesseract, leaving him unable to forcibly seize it for now. For the time being, he could only wait for Loki to deliver it.

At the moment, Tony was off studying with the Sorcerer Supreme, with no clear idea when he'd return, leaving the seaside villa vacant, so Alex made himself at home there.

During this time, he didn't remain idle. While continuously absorbing energy from the Arc Reactor, he also practiced the Limitless Technique and attempted to master portal creation.

However, his talent in magic was clearly not as exceptional as Doctor Strange's. Even with the assistance of the Six Eyes and energy absorption, he still struggled to master the portal creation, though he could now produce sparks—he was close to fully mastering it.

As for the Limitless Technique, the reason he focused on practicing this skill was that he discovered its advanced form might allow him to control space, even creating a personal pocket dimension.

Alex currently needed a backpack to carry ten Arc Reactors, so a pocket dimension would be extremely useful.

Not only because having a pocket dimension would be convenient, but also because it currently lacked style—being a dashing and elegant White-Haired Mutant while carrying a backpack into battle seriously undermined his appearance! It was not elegant, not at all.

The Limitless Technique continued to unfold, controlling five Arc Reactors to slowly move around Alex as the system repeatedly notified him of progress:

[Energy Point +1]

[Energy Point +1]

[Energy Point +1]

[Limitless Technique Experience +1]

[Limitless Technique Experience +1]

[Limitless Technique Experience +1]

...

Finally, after continuous practice, the system delivered a different notification:

[Limitless Technique Experience +1]

[Congratulations, your Limitless Technique has leveled up!]

[Limitless Technique Lv4 (3/5000): Interferes with matter at the atomic level, commands space; the closer an object gets to the user, the slower it moves, never reaching the user. Now grants partial control over space]

A flood of memories filled his mind, and under the amplification of the Six Eyes, Alex absorbed them all, simultaneously using the Reverse Cursed Technique to repair the brain damage caused by overexertion.

After a moment, having fully absorbed the memories, Alex immediately noticed the change in the Limitless Technique! The system's description had changed, adding the note about partial control over space.

As for the skill's effects:

Firstly, the effective range of the Limitless Technique had expanded from the original 50 centimeters to around 5 meters—an increase by a factor of ten!

Moreover, the Limitless Technique now provided more control over space within this 5-meter radius. Beyond its original capabilities, Alex could now manipulate space in various ways, including instant teleportation, creating space, spatial slashes, spatial folding, and more...

His mastery of the Limitless Technique had now completely surpassed Gojo Satoru, reaching a new level.

After fully assimilating the memories provided by the system, Alex immediately used the Limitless Technique to create a pocket dimension and placed the ten Arc Reactors inside.

Because he created this pocket dimension, he could access it at any time and draw energy from the Arc Reactors within!

In addition, Alex had gained new insights, likely due to the level-up of the Limitless Technique, which had deepened his understanding of space. What was once obscure about portal magic was now crystal clear to him—he realized that he had now mastered the creation of portals.

Without hesitation, Alex put on the Sling Ring and flicked his fingers. As sparks flew, a stable portal slowly formed before him

At the same time, a new skill appeared on the system panel!

[Portal Lv1 (1/100): Consumes magic power to open a portal to any place previously visited. Magic power can be substituted with energy]

After successfully mastering portal creation, the system finally recorded it as a skill. This way, Alex could level up this skill, continuously increasing its capabilities!

At Lv1, he could travel to any place he had visited before.

At Lv2, he could discard the Sling Ring, using only his innate abilities without relying on external objects to open portals.

At Lv3, he could travel to any location within his current dimension or universe.

At Lv4, he could move between dimensions, achieving dimensional leaps.

When the portal creation skill reached Lv5 or higher, he could probably pierce through the world's barriers, traveling to other worlds—a prospect Alex was immensely excited about!

He imagined trading blows with Superman, exchanging energy blasts with Goku, telling Homelander he's the real hero, and activating the Limitless Technique in front of Gojo Satoru...

Various thrilling worlds were waiting for him!

Just then, the Six Eyes detected something—several black-clad agents were quickly approaching the seaside villa.

Alex's face broke into an even more delighted smile—more fun was on the way!
