'This game is going to be a complete bloodbath.' Alex thought after checking the rewards.
In Alex's eyes, the game rewards didn't have any significant value, but for normal warriors, even an item of unique quality had significant value, let alone a proper legendary sword with added reward.
The game forced gladiators to engage in battles and kill each other to gain the gold keys, and even if someone was not aiming to win the game, he sure would aim to get at least one or two gold keys.
There were also no healing potions, or any other kind of help allowed meaning that once injured, a gladiator only had to rely on his vitality to recover.
There was also the threat of wandering monsters, and seeing how highlighted the environment and monsters were, they were bound to cause problems for all the gladiators.
'The rewards given by the system are pretty generous.' Alex thought as he navigated his back toward the training Chamber.
After the number of participants was completed, it would take additional 10 hours before the game began, and with only one participant remaining, Alex knew he had a little over ten hours before he was plunged into an intense battle.
Alex returned to the training chamber to take a Healing bath and study the information on the Lava creek valley Arena.
-----------------
(10 Hours Later)
Alex, with a scattered group of individuals, stood at the edge of a unique forest with trees with burning leaves and veins of lava on them while the ground was charred black and hard like iron.
'This Volcano is the house of Lava Salamanders, and this whole jungle is filled with fire element monsters of third and fourth Rank.' Alex thought, looking at the enormous Volcano far in the distance.
The Lava creek valley Arena was a natural environment with giant lava lakes and its unique fire element creatures encased in a giant barer that covered the whole area.
The whole Arena was covered in monitoring magic devices that were used to broadcast the death game in the city colosseums.
"You must be the Thunder Knight Caption Aeon that I have been hearing a lot about from the last two weeks," A man with a bulky frame with a heavy voice said as he approached Alex.
"I am Hurobak, Ranked 172nd on Gladiator Ranking and also a fellow Thunder Knight Captain from the third faction," Hurobak said, coming face to face with Alex.
"I want you to work with me as my partner to help me win this death game," Hurobak said with a broad smile.
Alex was slightly annoyed by the smug tone but just shook his head, denying Hurobak offer as he did with the last few gladiators who tried offering a team-up.
"Pretty Face, This is not a request but a damm order, and you will obey me like your senior that I am," Hurobak said as he placed his muscular hand on Alex's shoulder, gripping it tightly.
'I knew that other factions would try to cause me trouble, but I didn't expect one of the big three to come for me first,' Alex thought, feeling a bit of pressure on his shoulder.
"You two settle this in the Death Game and make sure not to hold back as it is not every day our audience see the clash between two prestigious thunder Knights." A cold voice came, and with it came bone-crushing pressure.
Alex stood silently, looking at a Man wearing a silver cloak who had just exited a space crack, and following right behind him were four individuals wearing magician robes.
'Virtheon Lashrael, The Space Magician.' Alex thought, instantly recognizing the man in the lead.
Virtheon Lashrael was a dark elf and a master of space magic, having the strength of peak Sixth Rank, but with space element mastery, he was a deadly opponent for even an Element Ruler.
Virtheon was a well-known space magician working for the Gladiator organization, and he was known to be a ruthless person to anyone who denied or disrespected his authority.
'I will make sure you learn your place.' Hurobak said and walked back with a smirk.
"Looks like everyone has arrived, so If anyone wants to ask any questions, do it. You have two minutes." Virtheon said with a stone-cold face.
"Sir, Virtheon, What would happen to the Gold key if a participant got killed by the wandering Creatures." A female gladiator asked.
"The key will drop from his body and release the mana signal on its set time," Virtheon replied, then waited for a few seconds before continuing.
"Let's start the game," Virtheon said as he walked toward the forest edge.
Virtheon reached the forest edge and drew a gray rune in the air, which shined for a moment, and then, an almost transparent wall became visible with an open section.
After the opening in the barrier was created, Virtheon drew more runes that took the shape of a magic circle and settled on the entrances.
"Remove all your space rings before entering the Arena," Virtheon said, standing right by the entrance.
The first ones to move were the four magicians who came with Virtheon, and they were the healers responsible for healing any participant who got killed and removing him from the game by taking him to a safe place.
The moment the four magicians stepped into the barrier, the magic circle on the ground shined, and they vanished into thin air, getting teleported to their designated location.
Alex waited silently as, one by one, the gladiator entered the arena and got teleported to random locations, and a few minutes later, he was the last one remaining.
"Do not use anything not allowed, or there will be consequences," Virtheon said as Alex walked toward the entrances.
Alex knew Virtheon was referring to his system space that they couldn't do anything to check its contents.
Alex walked to the entrance, and after a moment of darkness and feeling his body being stretched in all directions, he regained his sight.
Alex looked around, and the sight that greeted him was a lake of bubbling lava just a few feet away, high heat, and a group of large seven-foot lizards with bulking bodies resting at the lake's edge.
'I knew I would be given a gold key.' Alex thought, looking at a gold key tied with a thread around his wrist.
