Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"No, but Dad called and said he is very ill...,"

"What! Uncle is ill? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Jasmine asked sounding slightly annoyed?

"Even I did not know about this until he called me last night to break the news. I was with Jeff when he called. If you can recall, I told you about a month ago that he was coming...,"

"Yeah, I recalled I was looking forward to seeing him but unfortunately he could not make it," Jasmine said.

"I learned that was when he fell ill but he did not tell me. I am planning to travel to Shanghai after tomorrow to take care of him," Catherine said seriously.

"So soon, I haven't announced to the employees that I was going on a trip and neither did I buy him gifts...,"

"You don't have to worry about that since Jeff has volunteered to come with me," Catherine revealed. Jasmine smiled when she heard her words.

"Oh, I see our Pretty Boy wants to use this opportunity to introduce himself to his future father-in-law. What a clever plan he has there and you are smart enough to take advantage of this," Jasmine said teasingly.

"Isn't that a good plan? At least he will quickly gain Dad's approval this way...,"

"Do you think your Dad will go easy on him because he is sick?" Jasmine interrupted sharply.

"If that is what you think then you are completely wrong. Just be kind enough to tell him to brace himself to suffer because to get you is not an easy feat, Uncle Qin will make sure of that, I promise you," Jasmine said grinning.

"Jasmine stop scaring me because Jackson's problem is worst than Jeff's. To please your Dad is difficult if not impossible," Catherine said. Jasmine smile gradually faded away at the mention of her father.

"Ice Prince doesn't necessarily need to seek for his permission. If he tries to please him and he proves difficult, I will just tell him to leave my father and go ahead with whatever he has in mind. My mum, sister and brother-in-law's blessing is enough to last for a lifetime...,"

"Jasmine, don't say that. Although your dad can be very mean he is still your father after all...,"

"Yeah, he is my father and I respect that fact but if he transfers his prejudice to Ice Prince then I won't be so respectful anymore," Jasmine said fiercely.

"When are you planning to formally introduce him to your parents and has he introduced you to his mum?" Catherine asked curiously as she stare at Jasmine's frowning face.

"I don't know when. We have just started dating so I guess we will have to wait for some time. I am sure my father is still angry about the video that went viral, he will not be very nice to Ice Prince if I take him home...,"

"You might want to take things slowly but have you thought about Jackson? He seems to want to make you his wife as soon as possible," Catherine replied in a cool tone.

"You are right about that but I have told him that I don't want to get married just yet...,"

"Oh... that means you want to be the mother of his children first before you become his wife," Catherine said teasingly.

"Hey, I should be saying that about you and not me so stop it," Jasmine said smiling.

"You have always told me to use protection whenever I have sex with Jeff but I am sure that the teacher is not following what she is teaching so I won't be surprised if she gets pregnant...,"

"Hey, girlfriend stop saying bad words because I don't want to be a mother just yet. I haven't enjoyed him to my satisfaction so why will I want a baby to come in between us?" Jasmine said seriously.

"What will you do if my prediction comes true huh?" Catherine said as she winked naughtily at Jasmine.

"I can see that you are all out to annoy me so I will let it go," Jasmine said as she ignited the car.

"Since I will be leaving soon let me stay with you these two nights or else I will miss you like crazy," Catherine said the moment Jasmine drove out of the parking space.

"With Pretty Boy around, I don't think you will have the slightest moment to think about me not to mention missing me," Jasmin replied as she continue to keep her eyes on the road.

"Of course that is not true," Catherine said.

When they reached Jasmine's home they were surprised to see the mansion so dark from outside.

"Is the power out? But this has never happened before so what is going on," Jasmine muttered as she stepped out of her car.

"I am sure it is nothing serious so let's go," Catherine said as she led the way.

On opening the entrance door the two ladies were surprised to see a well-arranged line of red and white scented candles start from the entrance and kept on lining up until God knows where.

The ladies followed the lined up candles until they lead them into the sitting room.

Reaching the sitting room, the candle arrangement ended with a big decoration of a heart.

Judging from the glass of wine and the bottle of wine and table displayed at the centre of the room Catherine knew that she decided to come at the wrong time.

"Jasmine I guess I really choose the wrong time to sleep over at your place," Catherine said in low tones when slow love music began playing.

"I will leave now. I am sure Jackson will kill me if he meets me here so baby, good luck. I am sure it is going to be yet another long and pleasurable night for you," Catherine said teasingly before she gently turned back and left the room.

It was as if Jackson was waiting for Catherine to leave because the moment Catherine left, he came out with a bouquet of roses in his hands.

"For you," Jackson wearing a black shirt with the three first buttons undone said as he hand the flower to her. He pulled closer and gave a light kiss on her lips after she has collected the bouquet.

"Is today a special day, I can't recall," Jasmine asked, her gaze glued on his face.
