The population, mainly composed of Inuit with a minority of Danes, is just over fifty thousand, yet they were about to face a great catastrophe.

The pervasive fear and panic seemed like fresh prey to the demons, whose blood-red eyes gleamed with greed as they spread their wings and descended upon the humans on the island.

To the demons, humans were the most delicious food, whether flesh or soul.

In an instant, it was like wolves among sheep.

Screams and cries filled the air.
