Chapter 565: Chapter 565 - The Scorchslayer Descends

Broken, Alora, Ivana, Elincia, Melliandra, Kingsley, and, at a safe distance, Tora-the archer streamer-had gathered, bracing for what was shaping up to be an epic confrontation. Tora's instincts were in overdrive; he sensed the scale of the battle ahead and maneuvered skillfully to capture every intense moment on camera, knowing this would be one for the ages. Their opponent was no ordinary creature. It was a massive... What was it again? An Eternal Flame Fae Beast! And its level-243? Damn!

"Bro... ken!" the beast's voice boomed.

Wait! Wasn't this Beast supposed to be mindless? How did it know Broken's name? Tora felt a flash of doubt was the information he'd gathered about these creatures wrong?

Broken and the others immediately prepared for an all-out battle. Just from the beast's level alone, they knew this opponent would be far from easy.

"So, you remember me?" Broken said, gripping his Wavebreaker Spear. "Or is there still a shred of consciousness left in your head?"

"You come with that laughable bravery of yours," the creature thundered, its voice so powerful it wasn't just loud-it seemed to shake the ground around them.

"I'll crush that pathetic bravery of yours into the ground, until nothing's left," Morel roared. "I'll kill everyone you brought here today. I'll make sure you see that coming here tonight was a monumental mistake!"

According to Elaine's explanation, this creature should have lost all awareness. Broken had once suspected that Fang retained a trace of consciousness when saving Cedric and Cecilia, but Morel's case seemed far different. He was holding onto his awareness at an even deeper level.

Here, Morel clearly knew Broken, and was articulating his intentions with striking clarity.

Was his hatred for humans so strong that even after transforming into an Eternal Flame Beast, he still held onto it?

Had his resentment fused with his power to produce a form honed solely for revenge?

But Broken merely let a faint smile cross his face. The more conscious Morel was, the better. Facing a mindless creature would be a bore. This challenge, on the other hand, might actually prove interesting.

"Let's finish him as quickly as possible," Broken murmured to the team.

There was no need for a complicated strategy. Each member of the team possessed immense power with incredible potential damage. They only needed to hit Morel with everything they had, relentlessly. With everyone focused on a single target, this was their chance to go all- out.

"Elincia, time for you to experience the might of this Legendary-grade device." Broken gave a faint smile, tossing an hourglass-shaped item her way. It was the Spellweaver Chrono Booster, allowing the user to cast any spell without casting time for 10 seconds.

"Oh, you really enjoy torturing me by lending this, don't you, Broken?" Elincia smirked as she caught it. "What if I decide not to return it?"

"Up to now, I trust you enough, unfortunately. So go on, try betraying me if you feel like it," he replied with a grin.

"That's the best compliment I've had today." Her body surging with crackling blue electricity as she levitated off the ground.

Kingsley transformed rapidly from human form, his body expanding into a massive bear, matching the towering size of the Fae Beast they faced.

With a determined sigh, Melliandra leapt up, conjuring transparent platforms beneath her

feet so she appeared to glide through the air. Ivana readied her shield, and Alora gripped her sword tightly, clad in her formidable black and red Invincible Paragon armor.

"On your command, captain," Alora said, grinning.

Broken smirked, switching into his Woodland Ranger Outfit. "Unleash your most powerful skills. Crush him quickly."

He drew his Wavebreaker Spear to cast Sniper's Focus, planning to follow it with his Scorchslayer for a devastating Explosive Arrow strike.

Kingsley let out a thunderous roar and charged fiercely at Morel, who blocked with his spear. But before he could react further, Ivana appeared behind him, slamming her shield with full force into the back of his head.

Morel screamed in fury, but suddenly, a torrent of sword slashes rained down on him from another angle. Alora darted up Morel's massive body, leaping into the air to unleash a relentless flurry of slashes, each strike delivering a crushing impact.

Then, with a deafening explosion, the sky blazed, momentarily turning night into day. It wasn't the sun-just the sheer power and scale of Elincia's lightning barrage, bolts so massive and unending they looked like divine retribution.

DAM-DAM-DAM-CRACK-CRACK! The relentless strikes blinded and overwhelmed, the intensity nearly unbearable to the senses.

This was what happened when a mage like Elincia unleashed all her most devastating spells without casting time-truly the epitome of overwhelming power.

Finally, a massive spear thrust downward, driving straight into Morel's chest and pinning him to the ground with brutal force. The combined assault had left Morel stunned, his mighty form visibly shaken as the onslaught continued without mercy.

From a safe distance, Tora, streaming the battle live, could only swallow hard at the sheer display of power unfolding before him. The brutality and precision were astounding; each member of the team executed their role flawlessly, dealing massive amounts of damage that a player like him could only dream of achieving.

The live chat was exploding with shocked and ecstatic emotes, with comments pouring in expressing pure awe at the spectacle they were witnessing.

"OMG, this is insane! ☐☐☐"

"Did you see that lightning strike?! Elincia is a BEAST!"

"Alora's sword skills are unreal! "

"Tora, are you even safe out there?! || Respect for getting this footage!"

"That lightning turned the night into DAY! Elincia is scary AF!"

"Every hit looks like it could end Morel, but he's still going?!"

"The teamwork here is... PERFECT. No other word for it."

"This puts all other guilds to shame. I feel bad for Morel, tbh []"

"Kingsley as that giant bear is just too epic. GO KING!"

"I can't blink, or I'll miss something incredible!"

"Ivana's shield bash gave me chills! Imagine getting hit with that!"

"Never thought I'd see something this legendary on a live stream!"

"Morel, meet karma! These guys aren't messing around!"

"I've never seen skills this powerful... I'm 100% a Broken fan now!" Morel took each brutal strike, seemingly absorbing the raw impact of every attack into his body. Without pausing, Broken cast his next skill, Explosive Arrow, using The Scorchslayer.

He signaled to Tora, warning him not to film directly on him while he wielded this sword.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

As soon as he activated the skill, a new visual unfolded. It was as if the sky itself split open, revealing a hellish landscape ablaze with fire, casting an intense, scorching glow over the

battlefield.

Emerging from this fiery rift was not just the sword itself-but a massive, demonic hand gripping the colossal version of The Scorchslayer.

With the skill fully charged, Broken released the arrow-and in perfect sync, the giant sword in the sky descended in a devastating slash. The ground exploded as the fiery blade struck, followed by a massive blazing wave that tore across the earth, as if aiming to split it in two. Tora swallowed hard, quickly activating a secondary camera to capture the scene in pristine detail-a recording he'd pass on to Broken to use however he saw fit. But as the fierce glow began to fade from the battlefield, one question lingered: would this incredible attack be enough to finish their formidable foe?
