Chapter 342: I Want It
Chapter 342: I Want It
There was a wide grin plastered on Livor's face even when he was binded on the ground with concrete locking his limbs from moving.
"Why are you only smirking? Speak," Johnson said. His sand spheres were dipping on Livor's skin and the sands slolwy crystalizing. "We don't have any more time. Speak what happened next. After that we will decide whether you deserve to live or not."
"Irus introduced himself and then gathered all the Casters of the five kingdoms," Livor replied. "That includes the Five Kings. Actually, they were in the center of his plot. He assigned powerful Casters on different roles, the keys, the Twilight Wings, the chamber, and the Tournament of Greatness."
"It was like he planned everything from the beginning" Hope spoke with a frown. "It's like he wasn't your ally at all."
"It's pathetic, really. We trusted him and looked up to him since he was the strongest one of us all," Livor chuckled. "Irus was the first Sin to come to Terra too, so after all his preparations were finished, he went back to the pit and gathered all the Sins, saying we will rule a new world together. I could still remember what he said to us. He said that there's a new place for us, somewhere brighter and more peaceful than the wreckage of a home we call the Abyss. Irus sounded excited."
"How are we sure that you're telling the truth?" Hope asked. He growled, opening hid mouth as he charged a sphere to fire at any given moment.
"Right," Johnson added. "The truth had been twisted so many times that we don't actually know who or what to believe anymore."
"Believe in what you want to believe," Livor said. "But also believe the one who was there, the one who experienced it all. Believe in"
He wasn't able to finish when the concrete ground he was stuck on crumbled. He raised his arms and smashed the now crystal orbs in his body. "You should've killed me when I told you so. Now I want to live again!"
"Supreme Dragon Imperial Illuminance!" Hope's gray sphere sparkled a few times before a large ray of light erupted from it.
Livor was just finished smashing the final crystal orb when the beam appeared in front of him. "Oh, boy"
With an ear-piercing scream, Livor was swallowed by the beam. He could only raise his hands and watch his own flesh vanish by how powerful the beam was.
"Hope, stop!" Johnson yelled. "You're breaking the barrier!"
Before Hope could comprehend he warnings from the Guardian, a loud sound of shattering glass garnered everyone's attention. Gasps echoed the stadium as they watched the Zodiac Sphere break into pieces and vanish into thin air.
"Oh, no," Hope gulped, immediately stopping his attack. He watched the place where Livor stood, but the man wasn't there anymore. Assuming he was dead, he turned around to face Johnson, only to watch the Guardian lose both his arms.
"I told you," Livor grinned. "I wanted to live."
The Sin's skin was already charred but he was still able to move. He just slashed his claws to get rid of Johnson's arms, but it was then that he realized that the Guardian's blood didn't gush out of his wounds.
"I lost my arms to a battle long ago," Johnson chuckled. Sand gushed in his shoulders and formed another pair of arms. "This is just for show."
"Supreme Dragon Imperial Strike!"
Hope was in his dragon-human hybrid form. He leaped above Livor, with his sword right above his head. "Die!"
With a swift strike of his sword, Hope slashed Livor's body in half. The Sin wasn't even able to react before his body split in two.
'Congratulations! You have earned the Blessing of Pride.'
As the light from the gems of the sphere died, the gems fell to the ground one by one, making it rain down on the stadium below.
"Impossible," Kian couldn't believe his eyes. "That kid was capable of doing such a thing. Making holes in the barrier was nothing compared to shattering it like this."
He was carrying Isabelle while they watched the scenes unfold from a safe distance. After their fight, they were left with only exhaustion in their bodies. After all, the Fallen Angels were not easy enemies to face.
"He's an Eternal," Isabelle slightly shifted in Kian's arms. "Him and the others have capabilities beyond all of us could only dream of. Especially the Prophesized Boy who carries both Light and Darkness in him."
"Lance?" Kian quirked his brow up. "What's wrong with Lance? I thought he's just a prince?"
"His bloodline comes from the first kingdom that arose before the five kingdoms, and before any of the great kingdoms," Isabelle said. "It was named the Kingdom of Furion. It was the center of world's power at that time. The Five Kingdoms came next, and then Camelot, then Avancia. In Furion's bloodline, they possess incredible magic, but they eventually killed each other off because they battled on who to have the ultimate power."
"What do you mean?" Kian asked. "And how come I didn't know this? I've been to all the old libraries in our kingdom, Furion wasn't mentioned in any of the books there. And besides, the Kings were the ones who gathered the people of the lands because there was no kingdom, there wasn't anything."
Isabelle chuckled. "That's because Furion wasn't built over the Five Kingdoms. It was in the East where the Twelve Kingdoms is currently at. And this isn't the first Twilight War. Thousands of years ago, even before the Five Kingdoms, the Forsaken wanted destruction on the Almighty's realms. Naturally, the Almighty protected his creations, thus sending the Eternals to protect all living beings."
"If you're asking why I know all of this is because Angels doesn't have the same short lifespan as us humans," Isabelle said. "Some of them actually live up to thousands of years and lived up to the era of the first Eternals."
"You were one of those, aren't you?" Kian asked, narrowing his eyes at Isabelle. "You were an Angel who lived up to thousands of years."
"Black and White Desolate Fall!" Lance yelled while slashing both his swords. His swords shot a twirl of black and white beams that merged and exploded, making everything in the world invert colors.
In front of Aviditio, a small beam was formed. She narrowed her eyes and leaned closer to the beam, only for the inverted colors to be sucked into the beam only for it to explode into a black and white spinning sphere.
"That was intense," Frederick snickered, watching Aviditio getting sucked into the sphere. She was screaming while the sphere swallowed her body. "But good. That way, we don't have to worry about her too much and respond to the others. Let's go."
"I Want It."
Like the attack was played on reverse, the sphere spun in the opposite direction. It became smaller and blast with the inverted colors before dividing into the black and white twirling beams. But instead of going back to Lance, the beams went to Aviditio.
"W-What is happening?" Lance stuttered.
"This is what happened," Aviditio grinned and pointed her finger at Lance. "Black and White Desolate Fall."
