I Hate Systems

Chapter 906 Fuck You, Arnark

"Hahaha! Got you!"

"Nice, he's here!"

"Come to daddy!"

A group of superhumans with mind-boggling powers chased after a fleeing youth, cackling happily as they fought each other.

"I'll be the one to capture him. The lot of you, get lost!"

"Screw you, dumbass. Just leave!"

The youth turned around and noticed how his chasers began to fight amongst themselves. He accelerated his bike and erected some distance between himself and the chasers.

"W-What is happening?" The youth felt an urge to cry.

His life had always been horrible. Lost his parents when young, was bullied throughout his school life, had to work multiple part-time jobs just to make ends meet, and worst of all, he had no friends to even talk with.

Of course, he never stopped putting in effort, using everything in his power to pay his college fees. He was already in his second year of college now. It seemed his efforts finally paid off as despite all odds, he surpassed all the geniuses from his college and landed a job at a prestigious company.

Usually, students landed a job at the end of their third year or during their final year. But for the youth, with his talents being acknowledged, he got the opportunity beforehand.

It finally felt like his life was about to take a turn for the better. Unfortunately, when he thought of that, the world began to change.

People began to awaken to supernatural powers, the likes of which allowed them to achieve superhuman feats.

It was despairing for him in the sense that just when he felt like he had caught up to the world, everyone brought out their secret techniques and left him in the dust once again.

But to add salt to injury, suddenly, a group of these superhumans began to chase after him with the intent to kill him.

"Just why are you doing this?" The youth shouted in fluster when suddenly, his bike took off into the air, hovering there as its wheels continued to spin.

"Gah!" The youth was unable to move his body, feeling suffocated as a formless force pressured him.

"Well, that was surprisingly easy." A teenager smirked in response as she pulled him away from the bike, caught him in a princess carry, and disappeared from the location.

The rest of the superhumans arrived at the scene, grunting in annoyance, "Shit!"

"Someone took the target away!"

Bam!

"W-Who are you?" The youth got up in a hurry when he was dropped on the ground, staring at the teenage girl in alarm, "Why are you targeting me?"

"Just remain silent for a minute, alright?" The girl said in annoyance as she placed her hand on his chest, thinking, 'Is this enough, system?'

[Yup, that should do the trick. I'll now summon the Heaven Overseeing Entity's fragment through it.]

A formless energy gushed into the youth's chest when suddenly, a certain fragment in him unleashed a pulse, one that couldn't be sensed by anyone else.

A few seconds later, a figure appeared nearby, staring at the girl in surprise, "That was fast."

"It didn't take long since I had made enough preparations beforehand." The girl said, reading the lines given to her by her System as she thought, 'Is this the Heaven Overseeing Entity? I can't sense any strength from him.'

The one she spoke towards was, of course, Arnark.

Arriving before the youth, Arnark smiled and tapped the other party, collecting the Main Character System fragment inside, 'Now, only Valmor Du Te Ace is left.'

The fact that a fragment appeared in this youth meant that the Secondary System had already absorbed the Main Character System fragment in itself completely and fully branched out to be a fully functional Secondary System.

Following that, when someone with a main character's qualities appeared, the final Main Character System fragment formed in his body.

"W-What did you do to me?" The youth began to gasp as he suddenly felt incomparably weak, despite his body remaining as healthy as before.

"Harem System, right?" Arnark stared at the girl before letting out a smile, causing the time of the world to freeze as he communicated with the System directly, "Level 87, huh? Alright, I'll give you the rewards."

Instantly, an insane amount of Mental Energy swerved into the Harem System, causing it to grunt as its Core Skill levelled up rapidly, attaining level 99. Moreover, a second later, its Core Skill hummed in response before birthing another Core Skill.

This too was from the same genre. It seemed that Arnark had killed a System from this genre already. So now, all he did was return the Mental Energy stolen from it, using a Coordinate to recreate it.

Soon, he was done with the rewards, stating curtly, "Well, now that you have enough foundation, you should hunt the rest of the Systems in your genre and have fun reaching Grade 2."

"Thank you, Arnark." The Harem System said respectfully, "Thanks to you, I managed to save thousands of years of effort."

"It's the reward I promised anyway." Arnark said before letting out a smile, "It seems the others have located the final piece."

His figure vanished immediately, causing the world to return to its usual function as the Harem System was overjoyed.

'Now, I need to strengthen myself to the limit and target the other Systems of my genre. But first,' It communicated with its Host, sending her a bunch of notifications, causing her to break into a smile at the numerous abilities she had obtained.

Following that, she stared at the youth, thinking with a smile as she propped him up and spoke, "You were born with a treasure, an elixir of misfortune for humans, but a delicacy for superhumans. That was why they were searching for you."

"But now that they have claimed it, your life would return to normalcy. But," Upon observing his indignant expression, her eyes shone with a cunning glint as she asked him, "If you wish to change your life, I can grant you power."

"Tch! These bastards are constantly chasing after me!" Valmor Du Te Ace frowned as he jumped to the System World and hurriedly created a portal to another world.

He stared in a fluster upon seeing the Systems nearby observing his actions, calmly noting down the energy signature emitted by the portal that they relayed to the chasing Systems.

He had just arrived in the world when more than a dozen System Hosts chased after him. Even though he was strong enough to kill them, there was no end to them. If he fought them, he would be delayed, resulting in more System Hosts chasing after him.

'To think a Grade 2 System would face such a day. Fuck you, Arnark!' He cursed in frustration.
