The husband whispered with affection while his hand stroked Xaya's hair. She was already within the bed in her pyjamas as Kyoya took good care of her body. He even promised to wash her later on if Xiaoxiao happened to come later!

This wasn't so bad for Xaya, but she naturally wanted to cuddle with her husband right now! Nonetheless, this was a new experience, so Xaya just decided to play with her husband.

And her husband also played along, but he was more like a bully now. He only slightly yanked her one breast, then did a similar thing with other requests. The husband knew that his wife was playing, so he fulfilled her wishes, but left some desire within Xaya's body as he was indeed a bully now.

Later on, Xaya could only express her dissatisfaction with the game system's messages as Kyoya heard Xiaoxiao and Noe's steps within the house.

The husband came down the stairs, then spotted Xiaoxiao and Noe taking their boots. Both of them were displaying different emotions with one lady being worried for another. It was Xiaoxiao whose eyes didn't know what to say to cheer up Noe.

As for Noe's problems, Kyoya could only guess, but he was ready to ask her out.

However, Xiaoxiao's case was more important!

"Welcome back."

"We are back!"

"Hi…"

As Xiaoxiao tried to use her voice to appease the atmosphere, Kyoya decided to just hug the black-haired lady while making eye contact with Xiaoxiao. This naturally was an invitation for game system talk, but Xiaoxiao whispered.

"Where is Akaro? I have been missing her."

"Please, wait for me… in your room."

"Okay…"

Xiaoxiao was also not bad when it came to reading the mood. She spent a lot of time with other people during her adventurer life and saved even more villagers that were similar to her home.

Her eyes saw through the husband and so she quietly agreed.

Then, Kyoya excused himself.

"Sorry Noe, but I have something really important to speak with Xiaoxiao."

"It's fine. I am just a new party member, so take your time. I will… eat something I guess."

The husband was the leader, so it was his job to speak with his party members! He promised this to Noe and she, who used to be leader herself, agreed with him and thanked before any help could befall on her.

It was already nice to have this much attention after leaving her floor for the first time.

Thus, Kyoya left Noe in the kitchen, then headed to Xiaoxiao's room. He knocked on her doors calmly, then after approval his steps resounded within her room.

Without her equipment, Xiaoxiao was a bright and cheerful lady whose eyes could send the warm feelings alone. However, as she turned those jewels to the husband, Xiaoxiao asked with a worried voice.

"Something happened to Akaro, right? Is she... "

"She is not dead, but not here anymore. We both can help her, Xiaoxiao."

"What happened?"

The reason Xiaoxiao got approval from the goddess and Akaro herself was due to Kyoya. She even could see that Kyoya liked the cat and her fluffy fur, so there was no way for him to do something bad for her.

It was their cat after all.

Both of them were like 'parents', but only Xiaoxiao could think like that due to Kyoya just knowing Akaro's origins.

Nonetheless, Xiaoxiao was not angry nor mad at Kyoya, just sad. Her heart hurt as she waited for more explanation.

And when Kyoya began describing the appearance of the unique black court and castle, Xiaoxiao nodded as she also saw this object from the main gates.

"You nearly died? But… but you are just…"

"I am kinda special, Xiaoxiao…"

"Ah, yes… I know it. Sorry."

"No, don't apologize, Xiaoxiao. Just don't."

It was the last thing that Kyoya wanted to hear from Xiaoxiao right now. He instantly reached for her body, then hugged tightly enough she could not speak anymore. Her whole face was buried within his shoulder, tears then slowly trickling down her cheeks.

A cat was like a present from the goddess, but it was a close friend for Xiaoxiao whom she took care of and spent time with while others were busy with their own tasks. She knew that Akaro would always be with her when needed!

"Xiaoxiao… There is a quest from Akaro. This quest was initially to help me cure my problem… but after Akaro's death, it got updated. This quest will help me and bring Akaro back to us."

"Really? Will this quest be enough? Akaro is a kitty from the lord after all…"

"It will be enough. Once she comes back to us, we will be together for eternity. No one will forcefully separate us."

The husband whispered those words while stroking Xiaoxiao's hair. In order to make her feel his resolution, the husband brought his face closer to her beautiful orange hair! He felt pulled by her fragrance then and so the husband kissed Xiaoxiao's hair instinctively.

This brought up a scarlet blush on her cheeks, but luckily enough, Xiaoxiao had her face buried thoroughly within Kyoya's shoulder!

Her hug became tighter and Kyoya found it warm and pleasant to his body. He wanted to feel this hug more often and in a normal situation where both of them would only smile! Thus, Kyoya took Xiaoxiao's hand and asked.

"Before we go on our adventure, we have to gather enough intel. There is Akaro's will as well, so today, we have to go to the Goddess Fiana's shrine."

"Will they accept us? The believers without achievements or strength usually stay near the outskirts…"

"They must accept us."

The husband spoke with a voice that didn't accept no! Xiaoxiao herself wouldn't dare to say this no matter what question he asked! These words pulled her out from his embrace, then she fixed her eyes on his ready to fight face!

But Kyoya himself flinched and stared absentmindedly at Xiaoxiao.

Her scarlet blush, red little nose and eyes with tears dwelled around the corners caused the husband to somewhat feel his seal breaking a little. A sound of crack rang out within his mind, then he smiled and took out a handkerchief.

Using this, he wiped Xiaoxiao's tears and pinched her nose.

"Ah! What was that? You bully…"

"Sorry, I just felt like doing it."

The husband was indeed a bully today!
