"Husband! Where is the cat?"

"Uhh…"

Only after some time passed did Xaya notice that Akaro was missing. It was just a cat for her, so it wasn't that strange for a yandere wife to notice this later. However, Xaya knew that Xiaoxiao loved her cat and would get content just from having her in embrace!

That was why Xaya asked.

And this caused Kyoya to stop his sewing. He totally froze and made a painful expression that triggered Xaya's senses. As her husband looked truly pained by the cat's absence, Xaya took another pair of clothes from the inventory, then appeared in front of the husband.

"Who? Where is the filth?!"

"It was my fault… And we can not go to this place."

"I will kill anyone who made my husband sad!"

Kyoya already could feel the coolness spreading through the room and got a tad worried for Rosa as he had his wife touching his cheek. Her warmth was keeping him safe from this killing intent!

And because of that, Kyoya didn't really say anything more! If he were to say that he nearly died from the black castle's appearance, Xaya would just go to this court and unlock her full power which would certainly go against her master's wishes.

Last time, the seal put Xaya unconscious, but who knew what would happen next? Furthermore, this outbreak didn't go without consequences.

Xaya's seal was far stronger and even with her yandere wife title and feelings, Xaya would be only able to unlock at least 80% of her full strength!

This was still too good for the world pillar, but it was not the path that Xaya should step on, so the husband just spoke about his next plan.

"I have to speak with the father in law, then I will make sure to resurrect Akaro. Don't worry, Xaya. Also, don't tell Xiaoxiao. It must be me to speak with her."

The couple went into a lovely mood, completely forgetting about the third member in the room. Stopping the show of affection that was the husband and Xaya rubbing their noses fell onto Rosa's shoulders and so she did it casually after a sip of tea.

"It must've been that black castle and court, right? We have heard some news about the Grooma Kingdom's forces feeling some incohesive feelings within the court. This alone stopped them and no more news reached our side, but they call it the most demanding challenge. A challenge that might change the power ranks in the world pillar."

Xaya was all ready to give the quest for her husband, but Kyoya knew how mysterious and dangerous it was, so he sealed her lips and brought closer. Then, both Kyoya and Rosa spoke about this upside down castle's appearance and what were the consequences of its emergence.

Of course, they were mere adventurers from low floors, so their speculations might be totally wrong, but one thing could be agreed here.

"The other kingdoms… will try to find some 'treasures' too, right? And if they don't, then they might shift their attention here."

"Correct. It should happen in a few years at most. That is, if they don't find anything on their side. But the six families and adventurer guild might just invite some friends from other sides as well, so it's not like the calamity is set for us."

"That's right… Anyway, I gotta do the special task, so I will be going to our room. Leave me alone, Xaya… Or do you want to speak with your father?"

Kyoya left his wife with Rosa, then headed to his room that only Xaya could casually step in. She promised to not go all out with Rosa during the talk with father in law, but Kyoya felt like the death god might hear some shouts and screams if he were to talk for too long.

Nonetheless, as the husband took the seat, his hands summoned the white mirror.

This mirror was the powerful treasure that connected mortal and divine worlds.

[You have called father in law!]

"Hmm? Father in law?"

The mirror reflected the office, but there was no one here. The empty chair and eerie silence welcomed the husband instead! This lasted for some time to the point where Rosa and Xaya began arguing over some stupid matters that Kyoya didn't even want to hear about.

Anyway, after two hours passed, Rhest appeared on the other side.

"You think you can call me whenever you want?"

'What a tsundere.'

"What do you want?"

The handsome white-haired god took his seat, then even brought some coffee with himself that surely wouldn't be here if he were to work. All prepared for the talk, the tsundere god just asked what was going on, but Kyoya naturally spoke first about Xaya and that he became aware of what happened in the heavenly palace.

He also spoke about Xaya's former self and the current one.

"Show me your marriage ring."

"Hmm? Here."

"It's a normal one."

"Did you think she stole one from you?"

"This naive fool probably had already prepared a lot, even before I allowed her to go to the heavenly palace. Now, speak."

"Yes, I want to hide something from the goddess."

"You are already in contact with goddesses?"

At some point, even the father in a law will call Kyoya 'the husband'!
