Chapter 677: Christmas Celebration-2
" Why are you staring at your nephew's girlfriend!?" It was Mary that threw the plate.
" It's fine, I don't think he was-" Samuel tried to defuse the situation.
" You shut up! I will teach this lecherous bastard a good lesson." She tried to put him in a headlock when one had to considered how big he was then her. She barely managed to wrap her arms around his massive arms.
Samuel decided to sit this one out. He didn't dare to go against his aunt because she was vindictive individual beside, she couldn't possibly hurt Peter no matter how much she tried. He saw Kayla was confused about the whole ordeal.
" He didn't mean anything bad by it. It's just his nature to observe any potential sparring partner." He shrugged and explain it to her. She never thought there were so many unique characters in Rothschild family.
" Come on! Stop it!"
" Fuck! It's like I am hitting steel! Is that why you always cooped up in gym so that you don't get beat by your older sister!?" Peter wasn't even flexing his muscles but Mayra could feel how tough his below eight percent body fat physique was.
" Aunt...I mean Big sister. I think uncle already learned his lesson." He separated them seeing Mary getting tired. She was also wearing fancy clothes so if Peter did anything to damage it, it would turn into another fiasco.
" Humph, don't let me catch ogling anyone again."
" Sister.." Peter was about to say something when Samuel put his hand on his shoulder stopping him from making the situation any worse.
Samuel moved over toward Mary and dissauded her by complimenting her movements. It was easy to please her and stroke her ego. She left with a satisfied smile to mingle with the crowd again.
" I am sorry, I wasn't-" Peter wanted to apologize to Kayla but hurriedly stopped him. As Samuel explained she didn't see any ill intention in his eyes. She had trained with peak athletes in the pasts but most of them had a big ego but she had never met anyone as quirky as Peter.
" He already explained everything to me."
" Is that so? Good." He said with a smile. He wasn't someone who would let anything keep him down.
" Are they always like that?" Kayla whispered to him.
" Well, they do fight a lot but since my uncle was quite weak in his childhood she is used to look after him. With both their parents being busy with their jobs, she helped take care of him. She is very overprotective of him while simultaneously never shy away from teaching him a lesson if she perceives that he is doing something bad."
" Oh." They didn't even notice that Peter was in his investigative mode again. He was leaning down looking at Kayla's exposed legs as her dress splits in the middle showing more of her leg and thigh.
" It seems like you are practicing some sort of martial arts involving legs right? Your upper body is also tones but from the size of your legs, you seems to be using them a lot more than your arms." He commented.
" Yes?" Kayla was a little taken aback. She knew he didn't mean any harm but with a small crowd gathering around them, it was embarrassing to be being stared at so attentively. Read now on m_vl_em_p_yr
" Uncle, you are doing it again."
" Hahaha, Sorry, sorry. What is it then? It doesn't look like Taekwondo to me." He stood up and laughed it off.
" It's Savate. I am a white gloves holder." She said proudly.
" Oh white. Just a shy away from expert level." Peter seemed impressed. He was well versed in most of the martial arts out there, Savate didn't seem to be well known but it wasn't that different from other martial arts involving legs.
" I am not that skillful. It will take a long time with a screening involving at least three expert level practitioners. I don't have that much free time." Kayla definitely felt a little sad. Unless she gave it her all, it would be hard to get over that threshold.
" I heard that you would be staying here for some time. Why don't you come and visit the facilities here? Savate is rare and I don't think we have any distinguished fighter for it but Aunt Joyah is proficient in diagnosing any flaw."
" Flaw?" Samuel asked. He didn't think there was any.
" It's not exactly a flaw but she specialize in improving one's stance and could give out great pointers-"
" Wait a second! You mentioned something about Joyah...Is it the same legendary 'Pretty Killer' that's famous for her muay thai?" Kayla was more curious about her than anything both of them had to say.
" Yeah, she was the one that taught me. She was pretty famous back in the day." Samuel added. Most of his instructors were top class, that was the reason the family was paying big money for them. But currently only Joyah decided to stay at the Estate while others moved on to focus more on their families like Kang that taught him Taekwondo.
" I will be there! Is here now? I want to meet her!" Kayla seemed overly excited.
" Hahaha, of course, You seem like a fan. I am sure she too would be interested in a competent female fighter. We don't have that many here." Peter patted her shoulder. He liked her enthusiastic response.
" Thank you big brother!"
" B-big Brother...." Peter was again struck by her genuine smile but more than that he never thought he would gain a younger sister like this!
" Are you that happy?" Samuel smirked.
" Shut up! I am tired to being the youngest around here. Even you don't seem to show me respect which is why I declare that you are my favorite! I will firmly support you!" He was reminded that he about being the youngest for years and even when Samuel rolled around, he was exceptional in everything hardly relying on Peter for anything!
He couldn't have asked for a better little sister who had the same interests as him so he formally took her under his wing!
Leveraging her new found power, Kayla started to urge him to find where Joyah was. Samuel left them alone because he couldn't be bothered hearing them talk about fighting and rich history associated with it.
It's not he didn't like fighting but now he felt like he reached the peak and only practiced it diligently just to keep in shape. That hunger that he felt when he was first learning it seemed to have dimed a lot as he started to enter his twenties.
