Floating Island - Triple S Talent

Chapter 24: Event: Race War Begin, Regional Borders Removed

Morning on the Main Island of the World Market Alliance

Children were running around the green open field, filled with flowers, shady trees, and playground equipment. Vendors surrounded the park, selling their snacks to the visitors.

"Careful, Lius, slide down slowly," a mother said to her son, who was about to go down a half-meter slide. Her husband, standing beside her, was also worried.

"Hold on tight, son, trust your dad," he said.

Scenes of happy families like this could be seen throughout the park. Everyone was enjoying a comfortable and peaceful life. Children played, and parents watched with joy, creating a truly serene atmosphere.

In stark contrast to the main island, a tense atmosphere filled the room inside a flying ship.

"Damn it... I told you to retreat. Why are you all so stubborn?" shouted a man with a longbow angrily at everyone in the room.

He looked furious, his eyes red, and his fists clenched tightly. He glared at each person around him, as if wanting to crush them with his gaze.

"I'm sorry, Captain. We were too greedy," a young man said fearfully but bravely tried to calm the angry captain.

"Sorry? Sorry for what?... Do you think they can come back to life with your useless apology?" the man with the bow continued to berate his crew without mercy, looking as if he had lost something precious.

"Sis Laras, how about we go to Meanos Mall? I heard there are lots of good things sold there."

"Hmmm... sounds good. Let's go," Laras replied.

The two women in the flying car were discussing where to go next. They were Nita and Laras, who had grown very close over the past few days. Nita felt that Laras was like an older sister who cared for her, making her feel comfortable around her.

Soon, they reached a very crowded area. The main road was 10 meters wide, and the tallest building in the area was 25 floors high with a very aesthetic appearance.

Nita and Laras parked their car at one of the buildings and walked towards the mall entrance.

As they entered, they were greeted by a vast space. White lights illuminated the entire area, and people bustled about non-stop in front of them.

"It's huge... I didn't expect a mall this big to be built in just 15 days," Nita said, her mouth forming a big O. She was the main brain behind managing Lein's main island, but due to the many responsibilities and tasks she handled, she forgot to try out amazing things like Meanos Mall.

"Haha... let's go. Look, there's a jewelry seller over there," Laras said, pulling Nita's hand and heading towards a jewelry store.

---

Unlike Nita, Lein was currently in a very quiet and spacious room. The room was brightly lit with white lights.

This room was filled with racks containing gold chests, neatly arranged like bookshelves in a library. Yes, this was Lein's main storage room. The materials he possessed were countless at this point.

Imagine, 10,000 chests opened 24 times a day for 15 days equals 3,000,000 gold chests. Which regional alliance could produce 3 million gold chests?

Even during the first event, with a gold chest priced at 1 million points, obtaining 3 million gold chests would require 3 trillion kill points.

[Do you want to open a gold chest?]

"Yes."

[Successfully opened a gold chest, obtained:]

- White stone x4

- Medium well blueprint

- Hard iron sword

Items immediately dropped from thin air: a white stone, a blueprint, and an iron sword.

Lein gathered the dropped materials and placed them in the chest beside him. Opening chests and organizing the items into gold chests was Lein's daily routine. Since his bag was full, the items from the gold chest fell from thin air.

Lein tirelessly and unboredly continued to open the next gold chest. Since his failure to be in the top 20 in the first event, he had rid himself of the arrogance of obtaining an SSS-tier talent. He had become someone with calculated and realistic plans and would not do anything without a clear strategy.

---

On a floating island with a size of 3 million square kilometers, in a grand room, there was a 10-meter high black portal with an endless black water flow.

Suddenly, someone emerged from the portal.

A young man with a broad smile stepped out. He looked around and nodded.

"Awesome... Lord William has finally returned."

"Welcome back, Lord."

"William, how was the journey to the realm of the Gods?" someone asked.

William shook his head and replied, "Calm down, I've just returned. Hold an emergency meeting in the Alliance Main Hall in 10 minutes."

"Yes, Lord," a woman in a tight suit and black skirt responded promptly, noting down and contacting someone.

Ordinary people might not know, but the same event was happening in two other places in the divine sky realm. Each person emerging from the portal had an intimidating power, seemingly worlds apart from level 20 rulers.

---

Back on Lein's island.

Lein was in the Alliance Main Hall, reading reports on his desk. He had information on the total permanent population of 240,000, the formation of hunter associations, guilds, and martial arts organizations, and the security and crime rates on the main island.

As the main owner of the alliance, he had full control over what happened. Therefore, he needed to know everything that was going on and how the island was developing. The heavy data-gathering tasks were handled by the 10 core members.

It was almost 12 noon, so Lein wanted to leave the Main Hall to grab lunch at his favorite restaurant, Rudi Resto.

Before he could stand up from his chair, the long-silent system notification appeared in his view.
