Chapter 257 Afterwards 2
For many, attending school is often hailed as the best time of their lives. It's a season of youth, a time filled with the pursuit of relationships and endless possibilities. And in many ways, that sentiment holds true.
After all, the school offers a unique experience where free time seems to stretch out infinitely before you. You have all the time on your hands, do whatever you want, etc.
However, that is different for me. Since I am not the type of person that likes to socialize with others, rather, I would prefer to seek improvement.
Therefore, it was another normal day for me after the classes ended. Though my head was slightly filled with the possible scenarios regarding Arthur being a transmigrator, I was not much bothered by that fact since I was quite expecting it.
On the way of reaching my room, I saw Diana waiting for me as expected and we walked together while talking about the things that happened later.
At this point, she had already returned to normal as her worries were lifted thanks to the notice that came from Paladins.
Once inside my room, I settled down at my desk and immersed myself in the study of magic.
At that time, while fighting with others using the clone I was able to see my shortcomings slightly.
Since magic was a subject that was widely spread everywhere, it was a topic that could also be developed as much as you want. Thus, I was here, studying at my desk, trying to amplify the knowledge into my head, understanding the meaning behind it, and grasping everything. It was a subject that permeated every aspect of our world, offering the limitless potential for exploration and mastery.
And the hours slipped away just like that until I saw the sun was about to set.
As the hours slipped away, I became aware of the sun sinking low on the horizon. 'Hmm... I've spent quite a lot of time,' I mused, observing the colorful sky that was different from the normal one. 'Perhaps it's time to give my mind a break and focus on training my body.'
While I enjoyed the pursuit of knowledge and the study of magic, one needs to recognize the importance of a well-rounded approach to self-improvement.
Spending the entire day engrossed in books and spells without engaging in physical activities would be counterproductive in the long run, as you also need to implement the theoretical knowledge into practice.
Though I also don't want to only train, the entertainment in this world is limited to certain things.
And using magic is quite fun, to be honest.
Thus, I grabbed the things I needed and started walking toward the training grounds. Change in the atmosphere immediately kicked in as I felt refreshed.
The academy grounds were the same. Students were walking while talking to each other. Some of them were smiling, some pair of girls and boys walking hand in hand, living their youth. In a sense, it was completely normal, but at the same time, it felt like a waste of time.
'If you knew the things that are about to happen in the future, none of you would spend your days like this.' I thought, remembering the clock was ticking.
At this point, most of the freshmen were familiar with the general facilities like training grounds, libraries, spar arenas, lecture halls and etc. Though, the academy still had quite a lot of things to explore.
Reaching the training grounds, this time, I saw a different young woman inside. It was obvious that the woman in charge would be punished for her acts.
'Well, she should be punished.' Since the one that gave away my rooms and deactivated the wards had been punished already.
'They must have discarded her already.' I thought.
Just like that, I entered the training room and started testing my magic just as same as before.
Though this time, I added telekinesis magic into my training as well; it was not only my fire magic.

Callius stood at the center of the specifically-modeled training room; his gaze was closed, and he was focused on his other senses.
He took a deep breath, readying himself for the task at hand. At this point, there were already signs of burning at the ground, but rather than being wide, they were narrow but deep.
Since the main focus of his training was not to use a wide field of magic but rather to enhance his control.
The training room came alive, projecting holographic targets that appeared and disappeared in rapid succession. Callius took a deep breath, centering himself, and raised his hands, ready to unleash his magic.
He channeled his fire magic, summoning flames that danced and flickered at his fingertips. His eyes were closed as he was training his mana senses to the maximum.
As the targets materialized, he unleashed controlled bursts of fire, each aimed with precision and speed. His movements were fluid and precise, his fireballs hitting the targets with accuracy, causing them to disintegrate in bursts of light.
Though some of them missed, his control was enough to be satisfactory. But not for him.
Just like that, he kept training.

"Huff... It was a satisfying training session," I murmured to myself, wiping the sweat off my brow. Although it wasn't physically demanding, the mental strain was real. Maintaining constant focus and precision pushed me to my limits.
As I gathered my belongings and made my way to the room's exit, I couldn't help but reminisce about my time at the gym back on Earth. Even with the convenience of a spatial storage ring, carrying a bag brought back nostalgic memories of those days.
I stepped out into the hallway, feeling a sense of accomplishment. The echoes of my training reverberated in my mind, fueling my determination to continue honing my magical abilities.
It was like the feeling you get after a good PR session in the gym or a good spar in your dojo. The feeling of improvement.
As I was walking, I could see the weightlifting part was filled with students, as it was nothing like the beginning of the academy.
'In the end, even if they find it hard to adapt to the academy, all those students here are intelligent and hardworking people that belong to a small portion of this world.' I thought, seeing some students training in their martial arts.
At this time, students would get used to the academy, and they would start training since the assignments would also be given.
Just like that, I left the training grounds and made my way toward my dormitory.
Though on the road, something unexpected was awaiting me…..
