C43 – A Good Place with Dense Spiritual Qi!

​Under a sky of unblemished blue and a breeze that carried the chorus of summer insects, a black ant as large as a leopard and a green snake exchanged farewells at the base of a waterfall cascading like a celestial river.

“Beyond this waterfall lies the realm of the mountain’s Spirit Beasts, Mr. Tian. They are formidable creatures. If the journey proves too harsh, remember you can always return. We can still hunt the smaller game outside,” Green said, gazing intently at Lee Tian.

Lee Tian offered a reassuring smile. “Green, why did you choose to follow me in the first place?”

Without hesitation, Green answered, “You’re not like the other animals. You work harder and have more courage. You have dreams!”

Lee Tian nodded, his voice firm. “You’ve pinned your hopes on me. If I were to emerge from there like a coward, wouldn’t that shatter your dreams?”

Green’s admiration for Lee Tian was profound. “I wish I could be like you, Mr. Tian!”

Lee Tian clenched his jaw, pausing briefly before asserting, “And you will be.”

“I’ll hunt more, just like Mr. Tian, and grow stronger!” Green resolved, watching Lee Tian vanish into the thicket and setting a personal goal.

​Only in the heart of the Ten Thousand Beasts Mountain Forest could it truly earn its name.

Here, innumerable Spirit Beasts roamed with overwhelming might.

Any one of them could reign supreme outside the mountain’s embrace.

The Fiery-eyed Lion, for instance, ruled the outer forests with an iron paw but would not dare to claim the same authority within the mountain.

​If even a Spirit Beast like the Fiery-eyed Lion struggled to survive here, what sort of world lay within?

Upon entering, Lee Tian was immediately enveloped by a rich spiritual energy that invigorated his being.

​His body and spirit seemed to merge with nature itself.

“Exhilarating!” he exclaimed.

“The air here is so pure! It’s no wonder it nurtures such extraordinary Spirit Beasts!”

Lee Tian marveled inwardly.

He even thought that if Green spent a few days here, it might transform into a Spirit Beast!

The spiritual energy was incredibly dense and pure.

Because of this, he closed his eyes and took deep breaths dozens of times!

He was as if he feared the spiritual energy might suddenly be taken away.

But as he lay on a mossy rock, savoring the rich spiritual energy, a pair of scarlet eyes in the shadows had already fixed their gaze on him.

Lee Tian stretched out on the rock, eager to enjoy a satisfying nap in such a serene setting.

Since he hadn’t come across any Spirit Beasts on his way in and hadn’t been attacked, he started to think that Ten Thousand Beasts Mountain wasn’t as perilous as the rumors suggested.

“It seems the creatures outside have overblown the dangers of this place!” he mused, attributing their absence to a lack of adventurous spirit.

But what could have driven the Fiery-eyed Lion away from such an idyllic spot?

As he drifted off to sleep, the hidden scarlet eyes suddenly gleamed with a menacing light.
