Demon Lord Management Sim Game

Chapter 146 146 – Another Form

Not long after, a human-like creature with scales on most of his body and a large tail jumped from the trees, then landed in front of me. I observed that man with shoulder-length red hair. Part of his body was covered with bruises, and his right eye was closed.

"Hi." I smiled. "Pleased to meet you. What's your name?"

"My name is Zuron…. Hey, why are we even chatting?" The man looked pissed off, then took a fighting stance with his sharp claws. "Let's continue our fight."

I walked closer to him. "Before that, I have a few questions. Why did you attack me?"

"Of course, because you're the demon lord." He frowned. "Well, there is another, more specific reason, though. Because you attacked my sister…. She has another mother, though. However, she is still my sibling."

"Velvet? She really is the daughter of a dragon?" I got excited after hearing that. "No wonder she is so great."

Zuron sighed. "But that's not the real reason, anyway. If this is the rivalry between the demon lord and the prophet like usual, we won't get involved. Even if the prophet happens to be my own sister. The clash between the two of you is an inevitable fate."

What the hell with this person? Why is he talking like that? He had already explained three different reasons, for god's sake.

I wanted to punch his face even more.

"The god." The dragon sneered. "He thinks you are an anomaly, demon."

"The god?" I guessed what Zuron meant was not the cosmic being I had met. Maybe he was talking about another entity in charge of this planet. "So, does he know who I really am?"

"No." The dragon shook his head. "He didn't explain further. The point is he sent me to check on you. I happen to be nearby. I had just found my group of subordinates. So, I thought maybe you would come if I attacked them."

I take another step forward. "But, why did you attack me? You were only given orders to check on me, right?"

"My God does not provide a specific way to check you. So, I was thinking of fighting you."

He gave off an aura like Ritor. They are both stupid and just want to fight.

"Can you introduce me to your god?" I asked again.

He was silent for a moment. "The one who met him was my father. I just got whispers from that god. We are his servants, after all…. Hey, why are we having such a long chat! Let's fight!"

"What do you want, Zuron?" Instead of taking a fighting stance like the dragon, I continued to speak while smiling. "I might be able to grant it."

That dragon chuckled. "You want to recruit me? Listen, I already love my simple life: sleep, hunt for food, pissing and shitting, then repeat. I don't need anything else."

So, I have to use the hard way, huh? I displayed my fighting stance, and he smirked.

"Well, I enjoy fighting too, besides what I mentioned before." He chuckled. "I'm just too lazy to find an opponent. Even if I do find them, they're usually weaker than me. But now, I found a worthy opponent…."

Before he finished speaking, I jumped up and slammed my knee into his face. He could avoid it by retreating, then his claws started glowing like embers.

He threw a combination claw attack at me, and I could feel the heat it generated.

I see. It's like the skill used by Velvet.

I moved behind my opponent, lifted his body up, then slammed him, causing a big crack in the ground. Before he could get up, I kicked his body as hard as I could.

His body was flying, and his back hit the cliff. However, I'm not done yet.

I stepped forward again and gave a combination of punches. The dragon can only block all of that with his two arms.

However, before long, he managed to counterattack with his claws, but I could still dodge it.

I caught his left hand, then rammed my elbow into his joint. He screamed in pain as his arm snapped, making a terrible cracking sound.

You made the wrong choice to fight me on land like this. The way he attacks is very disorganized, a sign he never trains. It's different when he's in the air. He looks better when fighting with flying.

At this rate, I only need a short time.

I moved behind that dragon. However, as I was about to wrap my arms around his neck, that man's body suddenly burst into flames.

And when I backed away from the heat, he ran instead.

"Well, it was nice fighting you." He laughed. "But like I said earlier, I was just checking on you. I want to see you again, but that might not be possible…."

His words stopped when I plunged my hand into his back, through to the front of his chest. That dragon could only look down, seeing the blood flowing profusely.

The flames on his body had also disappeared.

I can't catch him because of his annoying ability. And he doesn't seem like he will ever want to see me again. So, I better kill him.

It's a pity, even though I want to know various things from this dragon.

He chuckled again. "It seems that it was a big mistake that I used this form."

As soon as I took my hand from his back, he collapsed, and his breath was gone.

And there is one more reason I killed him, something that many people in this world already know.

The dragon's body burned again. Then, part of the fire moved toward me. I didn't fight it and let them into my chest.

Yes, killing a dragon will give you more power.

[New skill achieved: Burning fists]

The dragon's body dissipated, and this time there were no surprises. Because he died in a humanoid form, his bones were the same as those of an ordinary person.

I raised my two fists, and with just a thought, I could ignite them like hot embers.

After that, I checked my body which was still in pain. I can still fight, but I've used teleportation for today. So, I can only meet with Velvet tomorrow.

Emily came to me, riding her wyvern from a distance. That supreme undead waved to me.

I waved back. No problem. In the end, I will meet the prophet.
