Chapter 31: Chapter 31
"Haha, I win!" DC declared triumphantly, grinning as he watched Thor falter against Broly, unable to hold his own.
Marvel's face twisted in frustration. "Fine! Rune King Thor!" he barked, slamming his fist against the table.
"Fine then! I'll throw Cosmic Armor Superman at him!" DC snapped back, his pride refusing to let him back down.
Marvel scoffed, rolling his eyes. "You think that dumb Thought Robot can face Thor? Let's go, bring that machine, and we'll see who's stronger!" But just as their argument heated up, both paused, their attention drawn to the battlefield. Broly had gone berserk. Thor tossed aside like a toy, lay motionless as Broly leaped into the air, roaring with primal fury. With a thunderous crash, he descended toward Earth-0, his intent to destroy clear in his glowing green eyes.
"We need to stop him before this gets worse," DC muttered, frustration creeping into his voice. He knew that accepting Marvel's rematch offer had been a mistake.
Marvel shook his head, trying to stay calm. "He's only low-outerversal. Just send someone like Doctor Manhattan to deal with him. Wait, no, he might absorb Crisis energy if that happens," he realized with a grimace.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Meanwhile, Broly's descent was interrupted. Just as he was about to breach the 3rd dimension, an unseen force dragged him into the 6th dimension. There, he faced a united force of DC and Marvel's finest, Superman, Rogue, Power Girl, and others, all prepared for battle. Yet, despite their combined strength, they knew they were outmatched.
"What... is this power?" Superman gasped, his voice laced with disbelief as he felt a strange, overwhelming force flow into him.
"It's the Odin Force," came a deep, authoritative voice. The heroes turned to see a tall, battle-worn man stepping forward. His armor gleamed, his eyepatch adding to his air of gravitas. His body was surrounded by fiery, phoenix-like energy. This was Old King Thor, not just any Thor, but one from a reality where he wielded the Odin Force, the Phoenix Force, and the Power Cosmic.
"This foe is unlike any other," Thor declared, gripping his hammer tightly. "We must stand united if we hope to defeat him before his strength grows further."
Another figure emerged from the shadows, clad in ominous armor emblazoned with an unmistakable "S." Gasps rippled through the group as Superboy-Prime stepped forward, his presence emanating raw power.
Superman felt another surge of energy flow into him, his senses alive with newfound abilities: the Power Cosmic and even the gift of magic. Around him, the other heroes, Rogue, Thanos, Power Girl, and countless others braced themselves, their powers amplified by this collective force.
"You've lost control of yourself," Superman said firmly, floating in front of the others. His voice was calm but carried weight. "This isn't who you are, Broly."
Broly grinned wickedly, his eyes narrowing as he spoke. "Enough talking, let's dance" He blurred forward, his fist connecting with Superman's chest before anyone could react. The sickening crunch of bones echoed through the air as Superman was launched backward, slamming into the ground.
Gasps filled the air. Even with all the power boosts, Broly had one-shot Superman.
The heroes didn't hesitate. They charged Broly together, their combined might shaking the dimension itself. Beams of energy in every imaginable color rained down on the Saiyan, yet he charged through them, his sheer physicality unmatched. He grabbed Devil Hulk mid-charge, slamming him into the ground before punting him like a football, sending him crashing into a line of heroes.
Broly's raw strength was matched only by his speed. Despite his towering size, he moved like lightning, weaving through attacks and retaliating with devastating force. At one point, he stood still, arms crossed, allowing the heroes to attack him freely. When their punches came close, he dodged effortlessly, not even moving his feet.
"Enough!" Thor roared, lifting Mjolnir high. A massive lightning storm surged around him as he prepared one of his most devastating moves. The power to absorb energy, it was capable of draining even a heavily amplified Galactus. Thor absorbed all of Galactus's power, and went on to use Galactus as a cataclysmic bomb that destroyed even the Black Winter... that was a high outerversal level feat right there.
But as Broly's energy was being absorbed, Thor realized something terrifying. The Saiyan had already adapted to his power, and although he wasn't completely immune, Thor found that the energy he absorbed was nothing compared to Broly's growth.
Thor's eyes widened. "He's... adapting?"
Desperate, Thor called upon every version of himself across. A sea of Mjolnirs flew toward Broly as dozens of Thors joined forces, their combined strength channeling into a singular effort to drain Broly's power. Yet, Broly's adaptation abilities pushed him beyond their grasp, his power escalating at an unprecedented rate.
Old King Thor, meanwhile, took the opportunity to charge an attack capable of injuring even a high-outerversal being. Thunderclouds blanketed the dimension, and a deafening roar echoed as Thor unleashed a bolt of lightning so massive it seemed to tear reality itself.
But Thor wasn't alone. Doctor Strange and Doctor Fate appeared, weaving intricate chains of magic to bind Broly. They were joined by every magical caster from both Marvel and DC. Rogue, empowered by her new abilities, continued to drain Broly's energy from a distance.
The lightning bolt struck with a force that couldn't be put into words, the 6th dimension shook as if it was on the brink of destruction, yet all that power was aimed at Broly. engulfing Broly in a blinding explosion. For a moment, silence reigned.
"He's still getting stronger!" Rogue suddenly screamed, her voice filled with panic. Broly emerged from the devastation, his body transformed yet again. Red-brown fur covered his muscular frame, his appearance now a fusion of the True Saiyan State and Legendary Super Saiyan forms. His eyes glowed with an animalistic fury, yet his movements were eerily calm. "Super Saiyan 4?" Supergirl whispered, her voice trembling.
Broly smirked. "This is starting to get fun." With a flick of his wrist, he conjured a small green orb that rapidly expanded into a sun-sized orb. Supergirl tried to dodge, but the orb detonated, sending shockwaves across the battlefield and leaving many heroes gravely
injured.
"S-send Rune King Thor!" DC stammered, desperation in his voice. "He's reached mid- outerversal now!"
Marvel glared at him. "We can't! Mid-outerversal beings are dangerous enough as is. If Rune King Thor steps into your universe, he might defect, or worse, escape entirely."
As the two argued, the battle raged on. Just as it seemed hope was lost, a glowing blue figure appeared on the battlefield. In an instant, this mysterious being struck Broly with such overwhelming force that the Saiyan collapsed, unconscious, before he could react. Without a word, the figure disappeared, taking Broly with him.
Silence fell. The unstoppable force that was Broly had finally been subdued, but at what cost?
