Chapter 190 – Aiko fixes = Aiko owns

Aiko stared at the Garbage Bin, she was slightly concerned that this smelly asshole would interrupt her, but other than using his Divine Sense and smell, Aiko was fine.

She didn't listen to their banter all the time, but it would be nice if they would shut up.

Aiko thought that the Garbage Bin would kill the Ghost Lady, but for some reason, he didn't move from his place and just spouted insults at them, well mostly at the Ghost Lady.

Aiko was innocent and was just fixing the Lamp, he was upset that she would take the Lamp. But if she fixed the Inscription, the sealing effect would strengthen and the Ghost Lady would not be able to go outside like she is doing now.

This would be a breath of fresh air, since this was a huge mission from the Heavenly Dao and maybe it would be merciful enough that he would finally be able to sleep peacefully after so many years...

He had quite the high hopes for this little Fox, but he wouldn't absolutely count on her.

The Garbage Bin wished she succeeded and didn't take it away, that way the Heavenly Dao would reward him the most.

'It's so unfortunate I can't subdue her...' He shook his head. If he was able to subdue her then she would naturally maintain the Lamp, but that would mean walking. The Garbage Bin couldn't walk because of his Dao, which meant the only way to subdue her was Techniques and Divine Sense.

Divine Sense didn't work at all and his Techniques would be 100% lethal for this little Fox, so he was in great distress.

He was just sitting there like an old duck waiting for her to take it and leave.

'I even have to return back to my home...' He frowned. 'Maybe not to my home, since those Royals connected it to their sewage system...' He shook his head, he would have to find himself a cave where he could wither away...

Aiko was working on the first Runes. These were suppression and capacity Runes.

One suppressed the leaking Ghost Qi and Soul Qi, which meant Aiko would be fine carrying it around without attracting attention to it...

The next one was the capacity Rune, which would allow her to store more Souls inside. That meant that whenever she killed someone, she would be able to store their Soul inside this Lamp for later use.

"Can you add some furniture inside, Mistress?" The Ghost Lady asked with sparkling eyes.

For some time now they were completely silent, watching the little Fox and what she was doing.

At first, they didn't believe she could fix it, but once the Runes lit up and there were no issues...

'She even has an Inscription Spirit in the Pen...' He really wanted to steal that pen, but that would mean moving. The Garbage Bin didn't Inscribe all that much since that needed moving for materials, Inscribing them and then moving again to sell them...

Aiko finished another Rune. She didn't use much of her prowess since she didn't quite understand most of the Runes, but the next Rune was the Qi Gathering Rune, which she needed to power this whole thing.

The Qi Gathering Rune empowered other Runes, so for example the Capacity Rune, for storing more Ghosts, would get a lot more juice out of it, meaning Aiko would be able to store even more Ghosts!

She scribbled the first line, sparks flew around as the Inscription Ink was too degraded to hold so much power. Aiko was treading carefully to not blow this whole thing up, but at the same time, she poured as much passion into it as she possibly could.

This resulted in the ambient Qi dropping sharply, making both of those Immortals nauseated. They didn't understand what was happening at first, but once the Garbage Bin saw the Ghost couldn't fly any more, he understood.

'Ambient Qi... just got sucked inside those Runes...' He still couldn't believe someone attained such a great accomplishment in Inscriptions at such a young age... but he also noticed that the little Fox was avoiding certain Runes.

'She doesn't have the skill necessary to write high-grade Runes.' He nodded slowly, clearly happy that he was not completely outdone by someone so much younger than he was!

Aiko finished Inscribing, two days passed in the meantime and Chen Shi was enjoying his blissful days, where he was able to 'occupy' Lady Liu, without any disturbances.

Aiko's team were slightly worried, but they knew that Aiko would scream injustice if something happened to her, or call Mei.

Since they didn't get any message from Mei, that meant Aiko was still safe.

That didn't mean they weren't restless, they wished Aiko would already return since other Beasts were asking about her, especially the Snake Lady, for some reason she became obsessed with the little Fox!

They had to shoo them away, since Aiko was not at home currently, but they would have to address it eventually.

Aiko plotted down, watching the Runes. They were working correctly and the Qi Gathering Inscription was able to increase the efficiency of other Runes by 20%. This was a great shock for Aiko as she didn't think it would be THAT significant.

'I can store so much more with this...' During the Inscription, her Darkness told her some information about this Treasure. This Treasure was much better than anything else she had previously encountered, as she didn't need to hold those Human Souls inside her body.

This decreased the effects of the natural erosion on both her and the Souls, meaning she would be able to eat them 'fresh', which increased their potency.

Aiko would be able to gain so much more from 'fresh' Souls than Souls kept inside one's body.

"What's wrong?" The Ghost Lady was concerned. There was a tug at her Soul that tried to drag her inside, but it was not powerful enough that it mattered to her.

"Just checking everything is in order, I mostly want to isolate the Ghost Qi completely so it wouldn't corrode things..." Aiko lied with a straight face, her Darkness told her she would become even more beautiful if she was bathed in the Ghost Qi.

Aiko noped the fuck out of that and did her best to completely seal the Ghost Qi so it wouldn't accidentally leak and bathe her.

She was already troubled that her beauty was so high, if it got any higher she might destroy whole continents!

"It should be working. I also increased its capacity so we can store more Souls inside." Aiko nodded gently.

"What about the furniture, Mistress?" The Ghost Lady still hoped that the insides were a little bit less empty...

"I don't know Runes about Furniture." Aiko shook her head. She truly didn't know them, she only knew the basic Runes.

Yes, she remembered 50,000 Runes, but that didn't mean she understood all of them or that they had any other usage than combat or utility.

There were no Runes about furniture and other things, most of those Runes were unusable in day-to-day life.

Aiko didn't mind that, since most of the Runes for combat could be 'repurposed' for day-to-day life, but she needed a lot of time to convert them, like it was with the Massage Chair.

Aiko paused. She was very happy about this Inscription Carving Pen. Not only was she pretty much at the peak of her performance, but it also helped her consume a lot less of her Beast Core.

She was happy about that, since she was starting to run a bit low on fuel. She would have to meditate later to recover it over time...

Aiko stood up.

"Finished?" The Garbage Bin was shocked that it was so quick.

"I wouldn't say finished." Aiko shook her head. "I just patched a few things up so that they wouldn't become an issue."

"En... the Ghost Qi is no longer leaking..." The Garbage Bin used his Divine Sense to check the ambient Ghost Qi and it was indeed very low compared to before.

"I will retract the rest of the Ghost Qi, Mistress." The Ghost Lady smirked towards the old, filthy fossil. She would become powerful enough that this old bastard wouldn't be able to stop her! Moreover, since she didn't need to hold back the Ghost Qi, that meant she would naturally become even more powerful!

The 100 Ghost Parade Lamp, which was supposed to restrain her, became her powerful vessel that boosted her Ghost Qi.

The Ghost Lady smiled towards the little Fox, she would later go out and get her revenge for molesting her like that!

She did think that, but there was a deep red blush on her face and she was even slightly excited.

Unfortunately, it would take a few dozen, maybe even hundreds of years to achieve that kind of strength and Aiko would be in a different place at that time...

So those wishful and degenerate thoughts would not be able to be fulfilled...

Aiko cleaned her clothing since she spent too much time sitting down and she was covered in dirt.

She didn't want to end up like the Garbage Bin, so she would now bathe more often to keep the dirt away.

Another concerning thing was clothing. She really loved the clothing she took away from this Ghost Lady, but she wouldn't be able to wear it.

She was too tiny and she still couldn't figure out how to properly wear clothes.

Yet another thing that she would have to work towards...

She waited for the Ghost Lady to retract all the Ghost Qi, but that took another day...

"Are you finished yet?" Aiko was once again bored... maybe she would go shopping right away...

"Almost, Mistress..." The Ghost Lady's lips twitched, since Aiko was poking them.

"It's nice you are touchable, I can entertain myself since that smelly guy is boring..." Aiko's ears twitched a few times.

She moved on the Ghost Lady's lap and closed her eyes, she would rest a bit more or at least that's what she hoped for.

The Ghost Lady was squirming, since the little Fox's hair and ears were a little bit too soft and it felt great brushing against her bare thighs.

She moved away to avoid that feeling, making the little Fox upset.

"Speed. It. Up!" Aiko articulated while glaring at the Ghost Lady, she wouldn't even allow her to sleep!

"I will, I will, Mistress." The Ghost Lady nodded obediently, she couldn't afford that soft feeling again...!
