Chaos Evolution: Only I Was Granted 3 Wishes

Chapter 24: Dungeon Boss!

"System Choose Mana Kythnos." Draco said calmly.

[You've Chosen The Evolution: Mana Kythnos! Please Sleep In A Safe Location To Evolve.]

His choice was an easy one; most other races were probably available to him due to his affinity from what he assumed, and most of them were either worse than Mana Kynthos or had too much risk accompanying them than what Draco fancied.

Although this will considerably slow his progress in both the short-term and long-term but is much safer for him, Draco currently was still too shaken by what happened in the past two days to dare gamble with his life, even with his harmony, In fact, that further amplified his choice to take on a safer approach.

Evolution was but one way to gain strength in this world, and if he noticed any disadvantages that far outweighed the Advantages in any of the choices he had, he wouldn't even consider them.

Now the advantage of Mana Kythnos is actually its disadvantage: Its basicness. Mana is cool; it's supernatural, strong, and has many applications, but the thing is, most people already have enough mana to do that, and more mana or stronger mana wouldn't really change much compared to the amazing elements.

Can you teleport with mana? No, can you burn with mana? No, can you heal with Mana? If it's strengthening your body's regeneration, then yes, but it cannot do anything for a fatal wound or an amputated limb!

If another person had a choice between any of the Top Species Draco had, he would definitely not choose Mana Kythnos.

But that's the thing: Draco is different, he had many affinities and he could get more; the skills the species offered he could make himself, and anything else he could find a way to deal with it, but one thing he lacked most was time and protection.

He wasn't strong enough; the only thing he had currently was his ability to grow fast due to his wishes. If he only had [Devour] and not the system, he wouldn't have his physique, his boosts, his achievements, and his titles.

Heck! He probably would have died if it hadn't been suggested for him to devour the first two monsters.

If that wasn't enough, he probably wouldn't have had his shapeshifting ability or discovered it early on and many things would have been different than they are now.

If it were the opposite and he had the system and not [Devour], things would only get messier.

All in all, like all MCs, Draco was worth shit without his wishes, and that, he knew.

But they were part of him now, and the problem is that, even they wouldn't help him survive a strong enemy.

Truthfully, XP Multiplier was already becoming negligible, and Devour... It started showing signs of being uncontrollable and could lead to his downfall, the only thing he could rely on was his system, and it was because he was careful when it came to his wish for it, unfortunately, his momentary smart couldn't last till the end.

So, the reason Draco chose Mana Kythnos is because of its potential, from what he knew and calculated, it had a chance of evolving into a Higher-Form, and if he played his cards well, he could have the benefits of [Unbound Enigma] without the downsides, if that didn't work, it didn't matter, another good Species could show up and he had his physique with him anyway.

He knew what benefited him most and could play his cards right, and that's a good thing to have for someone like him.

Now he had more mana, he came across more interesting skills he could create, and all he had to do now was wait and see what his choice would bloom into.

Draco didn't waste time any further, there were many things worth collecting on this Dungeon Floor, but he neither had a loot hobby nor did he have time, he had things to do and he would get them once he conquered the dungeon anyway.

Once he reached the center, where all Zones intersected, he was surprised to find a glowing... Magic Array? Or a magic circle—he wasn't sure, but what he knew was that it would take him to the second floor.

[Congratulations, Host! You've Successfully Cleared The First Floor of The F-Rank Dungeon And All You Have To Do Is Beat Up The Dungeon Boss!]

"Hmm? already? there are only 2 floors?" Draco was surprised, but it was mostly his lack of knowledge.

[Indeed, F-Rank Dungeons, usually have 2 Floors, E-Rank 5, D-Rank 10, C-Rank 20, B-Rank 40, A-Rank 75, And S-Rank 100, Higher Ranked Dungeons Are Above What You Can Know With Your Current Authority.]

"I see, Alright, Let's get going." And he jumped right into the Teleportation Circle.

*Zoom* *Fwish*

With a blinding flash of light, Draco was teleported right in front of a huge Gate, It was made of some kind of strong metal but what was special about it was the murals on it, There were four packs of what Draco assumed to be the Debbs he met.

Fire Debbs were in the top left with a larger Debb than the others whom he assumed to be the Alpha leading the pack, then there were the Air Debbs right below them, then the Earth Debbs next to the Air ones on the bottom right, and finally the Water Debbs on top of the Earth Debbs. They were all howling to the sky with a symbol of their elements above each Pack of Debbs.

"Oh, what a nice mural, Does it have anything special to it or...?" He contemplated, but he didn't stay for long, if it had anything special, he would kill them and the bosses and then find out.
