Alex arrived at the restaurant and found Ruby. Alex was still holding the high-level magic book the Vice President had given her.

The only way to make these low-level undead useful and prevent them from becoming cannon fodder was to reduce their numbers, fuse them together, and create a new type of undead with a higher life limit.

They had gotten this idea from the bone pile that Alex had created.
