Chapter 172 : Bloodline Awakening
With determination igniting within him, flames enveloped the Third Captain as he summoned his weapon with fervor, the temperature around them spiked dangerously high.
Felix merely glanced at him before vanishing from sight!
BOOM!
A resounding clash erupted as their weapons collided!
The force sent the Third Captain flying backward; pain shot through his arm where it trembled uncontrollably from impact.
He was taken aback, his heart racing as he spotted Felix in the distance. Fear gripped him tightly.
After all, he was a Tier 8 Mythic Knight, his defense is incredibly strong much stronger than the average Tier 8 Mythic Knight .
It seemed nearly impossible to injure him easily, but here he was, wounded by Felix with just a single strike!
Suddenly, a whistling sound pierced the air to his left.
With no time to draw his weapon, he instinctively swung his hand outwards.
BANG!
His palm collided with Felix's leg, sending shockwaves rippling through him.
The impact hurled him backward, and this time he coughed up torrents of blood.
Struggling to regain his footing, he clutched his chest as crimson liquid trickled from the corner of his mouth. Stay tuned for updates on empire
Before he could gather himself for a counterattack, another blow came crashing down: Felix slashed vertically with his long blade.
The Third Captain barely managed to raise his weapon in defense.
BOOOOOM!
The force of the strike sent him crashing to the ground, creating a massive crater beneath him.
Each cough expelled more blood from his battered body.
Then suddenly, Felix appeared before him in an instant and slammed his leg down hard.
BOOM! CRACK! CRACK!
The sickening sound of bones shattering echoed around them as the Third Captain's eyes widened in horror and pain twisted across his face.
Just then, a sharp agony shot through him; looking down, he saw a long blade piercing through his chest.
"You... you... you... The Battle Wolves Adventurer Team won't let you get away with this!" The Third Captain gasped out painfully as life slowly faded from his eyes.
Felix glanced at the lifeless body of the Third Captain before turning away indifferently toward Zephyr and the others. "Let's go."
Zephyr nodded and vanished with his men in an instant.
Felix turned to Aegnor and Melian next: "Take the rest back and wait for your next instructions."Nôv(el)B\\jnn
"Understood." Aegnor replied seriously before bowing respectfully to Felix.
He swiftly gathered Melian and the remaining members of the Morningstar Adventurer Team before disappearing from sight.
Felix then surveyed Brixton, Nixie, Gwendolyn, and Trinity lying gently in Gwendolyn's arms, perched atop two magnificent Five-Winged Golden Lions.
In a flash, Felix appeared on Aslan's head, scanning both the battlefield and its surroundings intently.
After a moment's pause filled with relief, he waved his hand skyward; multiple gigantic fiery red magic circles materialized above them as colossal meteorites rained down like wrathful stars from heaven itself.
In an instant, all fallen bodies were incinerated into nothingness while devastation spread over thousands of kilometers around them.
As Felix surveyed the devastation around him, a wave of relief washed over him. He paused for a moment, gently patting Aslan on the head.
With a low rumble, Aslan let out a small roar, signaling his understanding.
Then, in an awe-inspiring display, he opened his gigantic mouth wide.
From within emerged a brilliant golden sphere that shimmered with power before launching toward the battlefield that Felix had already laid to waste.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The explosion reverberated through the air, deafening and fierce, as miles of land were reduced to mere ruins.
Felix gazed at the destruction before him, taking it all in with a solemn nod.
With a simple command, the two magnificent Five-Winged Golden Lions transformed into streams of golden light and vanished into thin air.
All that remained was silence amidst the chaos, a haunting reminder of what had just transpired.

Morningstar Family Estate
----------------------
In a grand, beautifully adorned room, the centerpiece is a luxurious bed large enough to comfortably accommodate five to ten people, yet it still has space to spare!
On this lavish bed lies a stunning girl with long, golden hair cascading around her like a halo.
Her face is breathtaking, seemingly sculpted by the gods themselves, complete with long, fluttering eyelashes.
This enchanting girl is naturally Trinity.
However, at this moment, her complexion is pale and her brows are furrowed in distress as if she's grappling with some unseen pain; her eyes remain tightly shut.
"Jarvis, can you tell what's happening with her?" Felix asks anxiously, glancing at Jarvis.
In the spacious bedroom stand Felix, Zephyr, Gwendolyn, Brixton, Nixie, and Jarvis, all of them gazing at Trinity with worry etched on their faces.
Jarvis frowns slightly as he examines Trinity. "I've checked her Mana Veins; they're stable.
However," he pauses thoughtfully, "there's an unknown power brewing within her body. I suspect it's related to her bloodline beginning to awaken."
"Huh!" Felix exclaims softly as he looks back at Trinity. The surprise on Zephyr and the others' faces mirrors his own.
"But why does she look so pale? It seems like she's in pain," Nixie says gently while holding Trinity's hand.
"It might be part of the awakening process," Jarvis suggests after a moment of contemplation.
"But do you know when she will wake up?" Gwendolyn inquires earnestly.
Jarvis meets Gwendolyn's gaze and replies solemnly, "It depends."
"What do you mean?" Felix interjects quickly.
"She could wake up right now... tomorrow... next week... or even months from now. It all hinges on her," Jarvis explains while shaking his head slightly.
Felix's eyes flicker with concern as he studies Trinity lying there so helplessly.
"By the way," Jarvis continues curiously, "how did she end up like this?"
"I think she used some kind of forbidden skill," Brixton muses thoughtfully. "Oh! I remember! She mentioned something about it being a divine skill."
"Hmmm… that's intriguing." Jarvis rubs his chin thoughtfully while narrowing his eyes at Trinity. "I believe she tapped into one of her bloodline abilities. In fact, I think she was already showing faint signs of awakening before this happened."
"Alright then," Felix declares decisively. "Let's give her some peace to rest. No one is allowed in here without my permission." He waves his hand firmly.
"Yes!" Zephyr and the others respond in unison as they follow Felix out of the bedroom.
