Chapter 162: The Old Policeman, Zhang Huai An
Chapter 162: The Old Policeman, Zhang Huai An
Zhang Xiao Qiang immediately rushed at the man, he was obviously the leader of the group. When he heard the footsteps behind, the man immediately shouted out loud, causing the men hiding behind the guardhouse to turn their guns in preparation to fire at Zhang Xiao Qiang.
“Pa pa pa....” After the volley of bullets, the wall and the ground behind the men were filled with many small holes produced by Three and his men. One of the men had been shot at the neck and had let go of his assault rifle as he held onto the wound and struggled on the ground. All of the men were forced to cuddle up by the rain of fire and seeing that their comrade was in such a terrible state, all of them threw their guns down and knelt down on the ground while hugging their heads.
The man in the suit saw Zhang Xiao Qiang rushing straight for him and clumsily stumbled for a silver and flashy looking handgun from the holster on his waist. Right when he raised his arm, a black triangular shaped needle pierced onto the back of his hand which was immediately followed by a military boot covered with mud kicking his right hand that was holding the gun. He instantly screamed out loud while holding onto his hand while leaning the car.
Zhang Xiao Qiang picked up the silver and flashy handgun from the ground. It was heavy and in his hand, its weight was similar to that of a carbine. This metallic texture was far nicer than any Type 54 Pistols or Type 77 Pistols, its streamlined body gave off a burst of tyrannical oppression. The moment Zhang Xiao Qiang saw it, he immediately fell in love with it, a Desert Eagle, although it was heavy, the number of shots per cartridge few, too large compared to other pistols, unreliable in its manipulation and weakness in its high recoil, Zhang Xiao Qiang did not care. Were the Type 54 Pistols higher in shots per cartridge? Better recoil? Zhang Xiao Qiang was no longer the nerd of the past and had 1.5 to 1.8 times the strength of an average adult, so what if the Desert Eagle was larger? It was far more powerful, if he had a Desert Eagle from the start, Zhang Xiao Qiang would have most probably taken care of the D2 Zombie. Don’t forget, its mouth was only 10 cm away from Zhang Xiao Qiang that last time.
Zhang Xiao Qiang had a proper look at the pistol. Three and the rest had suppressed the others and the Policemen and guards had taken the guns and walked over, with their ammunition with Three. Zhang Xiao Qiang’s request was that the ammunition had to be controlled which the police accommodated to. To them, as long as they had the gun with them, it was fine. They needed at least a weapon to feel safe.
One of the policemen saw the man in the suit and walked over to take a better look. He suddenly grabbed him by the collar and shoved him to the ground and used his entire body lock him down. He grabbed the man’s hands and folded them behind his back and from nowhere, handcuffs came as he tied the man up, then shouted excitedly to his colleagues: “HAHA.....I have him now, I caught him, hahaha, the mission is complete....I, Zhang Huai An managed to catch such a big fish! Hahaha....”
The man in the suit being pressed down by him rolled his eyes while still screaming in pain. The triangular needles in his hands had not been taken out. Zhang Huai An’s ex-colleagues all rolled their eyes as well, so what even if he had caught a big fish? Where could he report back to complete the mission? Furthermore, the big fish was dealt with by Zhang Xia Qiang and could not even resist, how could Zhang Huai An actually have the face to say he captured him? In the past, Zhang Huai An was a skiver who only joined the force to eat and survive and actually requested a leave of absence in the previous mission. If not for the threat by the Captain, he would have been turned into zombie ration back in the police station. All of a sudden, he actually found a convict from an old mission.
Seeing that the colleagues ignored him while Three and the rest harbored no kind looks in their eyes towards him, Zhang Huai An suddenly remembered his new identity. Beads of cold perspiration trickled down his forehead. He immediately climbed back up and looked at Zhang Xiao Qiang for orders.
Zhang Xiao Qiang ignored the 40-year-old policeman who looked like a policeman with no goals in life. A person with such mentality would never be liked by his colleagues. But when such a person tried to prove himself, it resulted in him being mocked at. Aside from being benched to the side, there was nothing else such a person could do. If put into position, one would only worry about him being too impulsive and ruin things. If he does nothing, he would simply be taking advantage of others, furthermore, he was especially afraid to die and did not attempt to do anything to the convict only until it was safe to do so.
Zhang Xiao Qiang took a rifle from Three and immediately recognized it, a Type 56 Assault Rifle weighing close to 4kg and could be folded at its stock. It was the standard gun equipped by China’s early infantry units up to 800 AD, which was then washed out by the Type 81 Assault Rifle. Aside from the semi-automatic curved magazine Type 56 Assault Rifle, Zhang Xiao Qiang got some men to transport the other weapons to the vehicles outside. He took a look at the survivors, only 5 of them were healthy with every single one of them dressed differently. One dressed in a suit while another in guard uniform. All of them had faces of fear looking at the armed group standing beside them while occasionally taking a glance at the man handcuffed on the ground.
Zhang Huai An saw Zhang Xiao Qiang inspecting the group. He carefully walked over and spoke out: “This man is the boss behind the scenes of the spa. Since the spa is in a remote location, he deals with a few illegal matters here. On the surface, they operate as a spa, but secretly, they run a gambling and prostitution den. He even managed to profit from arms dealing. The past few gun murders in J City in the past half year were all done by his men.”
Shangguan Qiao Yun took a rifle and walked in. Aside from the people brought by Zhang Xiao Qiang, the rest who saw Shangguan Qiao Yun’s beauty were all stunned. She was also dressed in an American WWII military uniform along with some minor alterations. It was extremely fitting on her body and somehow, the originally ugly yellow uniform brought out a special charm from her. The vividly protruding mountain peaks on her chests bounced along with her footsteps. The thick leather belt accentuated the contours on her waist with a holster that represented the thorns of a rose. The shape of her full and lanky thighs was drawn out by the thigh military pants. As before, she tied a Lara Croft tail that swept gently across her voluptuous butt. Even after she walked and stood behind Zhang Xiao Qiang, a few men had not regained their senses.
Zhang Xiao Qiang did not know how Shangguan Qiao Yun had used her super terrible marksmanship to hold down over 10 men with semi-automatic weapons and had even used her rifle to kill 4 of them. But it was not the time to ask her, Three had already gone through a rough interrogation with the men and was walking over to report to Zhang Xiao Qiang.
Their group was fairly complicated, there was the guard that worked in the spa originally, a rich and powerful man who had the intention to enjoy, a bodyguard of the rich and powerful man and the subordinates of the convict. All the subordinates were all fugitives and the ones who dared to risk their lives to kill and fight, just that they were too quick in doing that and a few of them were killed by Shangguan Qiao Yun. Another one was killed in a volley of fire unleashed by Three and the rest. In the end, the convict was left alone.
At the start of the virus outbreak, the survivors instantly followed along the convict that was constantly trying to avoid the police and actually ran to another cave. This cave was much larger spa location and especially used to receive group bookings. Of course, it was just a cover. In fact, the convict’s firearms were mostly hidden inside this cave. They were fortunate as the zombies outside went for the police group at the car park and chased after Zhang Huai An to the other cave. After clearing the dozen-odd zombies inside their cave, the convict and his group stayed inside and hung around the entrance. When they heard the gunshots outside, they hid. The convict thought that the Country had sent a force to search for survivors.
After sending men down to inspect the car park and realizing that it was cleared of zombies with only a lady, he had the thought to rush out to kill her. Initially, it was not that they did not want to come out, their first attempt had lost them two men, so he was bent on waiting for an opportunity. With the opportunity arising, he leaped onto it. Who would have known that Shangguan Qiao Yun was actually so ferocious and managed to hold them off until Zhang Xiao Qiang and reinforcements arrived?
