The root that they were battling on shook due to the intensity of their duel. 

A missed strike meant that there's a chance it would land on the root. Right now, the root could already be considered as severely injured. 

The same could also be said of the two crocodiles who were fighting atop the root. 

The Enraged Crocodile's scar under its eyes has been reopened. One of its front legs was now injured, if not severely cut by the claws of the challenger crocodile. Some areas of its body were also injured. 

The challenger crocodile was not any better. One of its eyes was already blinded with three slashed wounds, clearly from the claw of the Enraged Crocodile. It still was also bitten off earlier, and blood was still oozing off of it at the moment. The tail that was severed was now twirling on its own a few meters away. 

The challenger's body was also full of wounds as well. May it be small or severe, it was all present all over its body. 

The other Mild Tempered Crocodiles were now perching on the other roots on the surroundings as they focused their attention to the intense duel not far away from them. They dared not to miss a single event, as whoever wins on this duel would become their new ruler. And in the future, if they wanted to, they could also challenge the ruler for the throne. 

Roar! 

After taking a break for a short time, the challenger attacked the ruler fiercely again. 

Even though it was already severely injured, the challenger still mustered all of its strength on that attack. 

The only thing it was thinking right now was the rewards it would get after it successfully killed the Enraged Crocodile. 

It could evolved into an Enraged Crocodile, ate and absorb the previous ruler's core, and the most important thing, it could fuck all the female Mild Tempered Crocodile around without worrying about the ruler's opinion. 

Both of them were already severely injured and could only barely move. The only thing that allowed them to keep fighting was their sheer determination to win over the other party, and enjoy the great rewards afterwards. 

And so, after a few minutes of weak slashes and weak bites here and there, one crocodile has finally fallen. 

ROAR! 

The challenger crocodile, who had now become the ruler of the tribe roared triumphantly as if announcing its victory to the other. 

Even though it could barely move at the moment, it still managed to let out that roar, not only to declare victory, but to also warn the others not to try something funny. 

After it roared, the challenger now ruler crocodile immediately closed its eyes. It's body started to glow with a green light as it started its evolution process without delay. 

The other Mild Tempered Crocodile also roared at this moment, as if congratulating the new ruler for its victory. They circled around the root duel stage again, as they roared from time to time, to fawn upon the new ruler.

As they were celebrating the victory of their new ruler, they were unaware that a fisherman was actually lying in wait on the surroundings.

When Ban saw that the duel was about to end, he instructed Eva to jump and hold onto his shoulder tightly. 

She had already transformed into her combat form and was now ready for battle. 

Ban held the Poisonous Butterfly Dagger in one hand, while he shook the other as if he was preparing it for something great.

The moment he heard that triumphant roar, Ban knew that it was already the right time. 

Without any hesitation, he directly jumped towards another root before he activated the Skill, Snake Rush. 

While the two Beast was still fighting earlier, he had already calculated and planned which root he should step so that he could arrive at the duel stage instantly. 

His figure zigzagged from one root to another. And in no time, under the gaze and the triumphant roars of the crocodiles, Ban arrived on the dueling platform, which was the wide root almost instantly. 

Before the Mild Tempered Crocodile realized what was happening, Ban had already put his hand on the corpse of the Enraged Crocodile who lost the Throne Challenge earlier. 

While Eva, who was still on his shoulder earlier, immediately flapped her wings, towards the challenger now ruler crocodile who was very vulnerable as it already started its evolution process. 

Her small body instantly arrived at the massive forehead of the evolving crocodile. 

Eva's whole body could not even match half the size of the new ruler crocodile's head, but despite that, she still bravely stood in front of it, as if it's massive size did not deter her. 

It was only natural. At the moment, the new ruler was still an F-Apprentice Rank, and was still evolving to become an E-Elite Rank and Lord Grade Beast. 

Eva was also not yet a bonafide Lord Grade at the moment but her status and life order was still greater than that of the Mild Tempered Crocodile and was even slightly better than the Enraged Crocodile. 

If she became afraid of a mere F-Apprentice Rank, then she was not worthy of her title as the future Demon Ant Queen. 

She landed on the forehead of the evolving Beasts and without further delay, she raised two of her four arms and used the skill, Vital Punch to punch the weak spot on the forehead of the evolving crocodile. 

Boom! 

The two small fists carried the weight of Eva's strength. 

The forehead of the severely injured crocodile who was now trying to evolve, actually cracked the moment Eva's fists landed on it. 

The evolving crocodile did not even have the chance to savor the rewards of its victory before it was struck by a heavy force.

It's consciousness blackout the next second, it died not even knowing what killed it. 

For fucks sake, I just won a battle to survive, and now you're telling me that I'm already dead? 

Justice? Where are you? At least let me rest for a few days?

At the same moment Eva used the Skill, Vital Punch, Ban also used the new ability gained by Greed for the first time.
