Almighty Summoner System

After Ban revealed his intention of traveling to the Death Swamp, Kuys did not reject it and instead even supported it. 

As long as Ban went away in advance, the Dark Guild should not be able to target him when the time of the big battle comes.

Of course, he still reminded Ban to be careful at all times. No one knows for sure what will happen, and in the end, one could only try to be careful regardless of the situation. 

Even so, he planned on sending a 'child' to protect Ban in the shadows. 

Kuys supported his plan, however, Emilia could not help but stare at him in surprise. 

She reached out and gripped Ban's arm tightly under the table silently. 

They just started 'dating', why does he have to go away now? She could not help but be sad about it. 

She bit her lips and just as she was about to stop him from going away for now, she suddenly felt him grabbing back her hand. 

"Don't worry, I'll be back safely," Ban said softly towards her with a reassuring smile.

"Little Emi, why don't you come along?" Kuys suddenly said after seeing Emilia's expression. 

Emilia's eyes lit up after hearing it but it also died down the next second after hearing what Ban said. 

"No, she can't. I won't be able to protect her…" Ban said resolutely, rejecting Kuys suggestion firmly.

He was not going to the Death Swamp for a vacation trip, he was going there to kill a Beast, which was a very dangerous endeavour.

Not only was bringing her alone not convenient, it would also create unnecessary troubles for him instead. For example, he won't be able to escape easily as he would need to worry about her safety if they somehow encountered a strong Beast they could not handle. 

"Well, that's true… Just stay here then, little Emi. Don't worry alright? I'm sure Ban would not be able to look for another girl in that short amount of time."

"And besides, I don't think he has the courage to approach another girl, haha" Kuys burst out laughing after saying that line. 

Ban could only shake his head as he decided to ignore him. 

He looked at Emilia and reassured her once more. He also explained to her that it will be dangerous if he brings her alone. He was completely honest and even told her that she might only hold him down.

Emilia did not deny that fact. She also witnessed Ban's ability yesterday. She could only nod her head in defeat as she regretted not being born as a battle Summoner like him. That way, she could at least accompany him as he went adventuring. 

"I'll prepare your things, you should go and exercise on the back first." Kuys said a moment later. 

"Alright!" Ban did not refuse him and went towards the back of the Kuys Bar along with the silent Emilia. 

They walked side by side but strangely enough, the customers did not even bother to look at their departing figure. 

Sometime later, Ban started doing the exercises required to finish today's Daily Mission provided by the System. 

He finished them all before an hour could pass except for the requirement to run for 12 kilometers. 

All of the requirements increased by a small amount and according to the System, it was because he was already at the E-Elite Rank.

Ban did not ask further about it as it was only a minimal increase anyway. 

After doing all of the sets, his back and his hair was already soaked with his own sweat. 

"Ban…"

Seeing that he was already done, Emilia called him in a soft voice full of care. 

There was a towel on her hand as she beckoned for Ban to come over. 

Ban smiled and did not reject it. It was strange that someone was offering him a towel right after finishing his set of exercises. However, he did not reject it and he was even happy about it. 

Just as he was about to take the towel from her, she suddenly pulled it away and said, "No, let me do it…"

Emilia said firmly and although Ban was confused at first, he finally understood her intentions a while later. 

"Alright!" 

Emilia immediately went in front of him and started wiping the sweat off of his forehead and face gently. 

She also wiped his wet hair and after noticing that his back was soaked with sweat as well, she also offered to wipe it. 

"Your shirt is drenched in sweat, take it off for now and change for a new one…" Emilia said with a caring voice.

Ban nodded his head and immediately took off the wet shirt.

Emilia then started to wipe the sweat on his back and then on his chest and then on his stomach. 

Ban was taller than Emilia. She was only on the level of his chin. While she wiped off the sweat off his body, Ban could not help but feel shy about it. 

He wanted to look away, not daring to look at Emilia who was busy wiping off the sweat on his body. However, he later thought that it would be a waste of such an opportunity so he mustered up his courage as he stared at her face intently.

Feeling his muscular chest and stomach, Emilia could not help but blush while rubbing it against the towel. Although it was no longer wet, her hand still traveled and felt his muscles one by one. 

She also saw the faint mark on his chest and she could not help but touch and observe it closely.

A deep blush was now on her face when she felt that someone was staring at her. She looked up and at that moment, her eyes and Ban's eyes met in the middle. 

Both of them looked away at the same time but a while later, they finally gathered their courage to look again. 

This time, they just stared at each other's eyes, not daring to blink. Their heartbeat was like that of a galloping horse as they stared at each other's crystal-like eyes. 

Unknowingly, their heads slowly started getting closer and when it was only an inch away from each other, they finally closed their eyes as they went forwards for a kiss. 

As their lips touched for the first time, both of them didn't know how to feel. 

Various feelings surged on their mind as if it were being stirred.

It was as if their whole world trembled as they felt like their lips melted into one the moment it touched each other.

They felt as if they were being electrocuted by a warm and weak electricity as their hands unknowingly moved to embrace each other closely. 

A full minute passed by but both of them didn't have any intention to let go. 

They did not move as they just let their lips connect together. 

Meanwhile, Eva was observing their actions not far away. She tilted their head and could not comprehend what they were doing. It was definitely different from the 'mating' she knew so she was okay about it. 

After observing for some time and still could comprehend it, she finally decided to ignore them as she proceeded to gobble the delicious food in front of her. This was the food brought by Emilia for her earlier.

She instantly felt that Emilia was different from the others. 

Poor Eva, she was bribed without even knowing it. 

Emilia's arm was now wrapped behind Ban's back as she tightly hugged him, not daring to let go. 

Ban's arm was also on Emilia's delicate waist, he held it with care as if it was the most fragile thing in the world. 

After five minutes of not moving, both of them finally pulled their heads slowly. 

They opened their eyes and stared at each other lovingly yet again. 

"Be careful out there, alright?" Emilia broke the silence and said softly. 

Ban nodded his head and proceeded to pull her into his embrace.

"Don't worry, I will…"

"I still want to experience that kiss again after all!" Ban laughed as he felt Emilia suddenly pinching his back. 

He only laughed even harder as he saw Emilia's red face. 

"Ehem!"

The two of them were immediately startled after hearing that fake cough. 

With a swift motion, both of their hands pulled away from each other as they said in unison, "Grandpa Kuys, how long have you been there?"

"Haha, look at you two… Don't worry, I just arrived, like ten minutes ago!"

Hearing that, Emilia and Ban could not help but look away from Kuys immediately, their faces now even reddened in embarrassment. 

"Pfft, I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding! I just arrived a minute ago…" Kuys burst out laughing again after seeing the two's embarrassed expressions. 

However, even though Kuys already said that he was only kidding, Ban and Emilia still felt that it wasn't the case. 

"Anyways, Ban-kiddo, I know you'll be drenched in sweat so I bought you a change of clothes."

Kuys then threw the green shirt on his hand towards Ban which the latter caught with no surprise. 

"Thank you, grandpa Kuys!" Ban immediately said after wearing the cloth which perfectly fit him. 

"And here, take this, I already put inside some of the things that you need for your journey." 

Kuys suddenly threw a tiny and shiny object towards Ban at extreme speed. Fortunately, Ban was still able to catch it with his reaction speed. 

Ban stared at it and in an instant, he immediately recognized it. 

However, he acted as if he didn't know and asked Kuys about it. 

"That's called a Dimensional Storage Ring, you can drop your blood on it to let it recognize you as the owner."
