Almighty Summoner System

Kuys nodded his head calmly upon hearing Mario's report. 

Fifteen years ago, a Beast Tide also occurred in the city. 

During that time, the adopted child of Mario also became an adventurer for the sake of the city. 

The two of them were very supportive of the child back then, even helping him register in the adventurer's guild after awakening. Although his 'talent' was not exceptional, all that matters was his spirit for adventuring. 

Unfortunately, before he could mature, he was also killed during the Beast Tide.

That child and Ban have many similarities. That's why the two of them became close to Ban in a short time.

Kuys did not expect that they would be back again during this time. 

However unlike before, he and Mario were already prepared. 

They have been investigating the whereabouts of the Dark Guild's headquarters to eliminate them once and for all. 

Now that they already have some information about their headquarters, the only thing left was to verify it before striking.

Anyways, Kuys and Mario talked a bit more about their plan in the next few days before Mario left. 

A moment later he left, a figure went in and kneeled in front of Kuys. 

He reported what was currently going on in the city and said that almost half of the target was already eliminated. 

Kuya nodded his head in approval. 

He then recounted what Mario found so far and told him to report to Nian so that he could investigate further. Especially that new Deacon that they wanted to promote. 

A Deacon was considered as the vice leader of the Dark Guild. 

For a whole city to be sacrificed just for him, he or she must be a direct descendant of the Dark Guild's founder. 

The figure nodded his head before he retreated from the Kuys Bar.

Meanwhile, Ban and Emilia were already in their respective rooms. 

They each kissed each other on the cheek and said a good night before separating. 

Currently, Emilia was still thinking of what had happened earlier. She could not believe that all of it happened in a single day. She stared at the ceiling with a face full of smiles. She was destined not to sleep today. 

On the other hand, Ban was already sitting in a lotus position in his room in the attic. 

He also could not believe the fast events but he was able to calm himself sooner than expected. 

He heaves a sigh of relief as the knowledge he just gained from the books turns out to be true. 

Anyways, it was already done and it would no longer change. He and Emilia were already dating. 

From the book he read, he knew that dating Emilia has its own dangers. After all, the book said that beauty always brings disasters. 

In order to resist this 'disaster,' the book said that he should continuously grow stronger. 

Ban accessed the System and said, "System, inject the manual that I gained from completing that mission."

He took the Beast core from before and let Eva hold it. He then let her cultivate first as he still needs something to do. 

He took the Unknown Egg from the Beast Tattoo and placed it on the bed. 

He took the sword and made a cut on his finger before drawing the Blood Contract pattern on its surface. 

And after he was done, the pattern glowed for a moment before it disappeared. It failed. 

However, he was not disheartened. He proceeded to draw another blood pattern to try and contract it.

However, he still failed on contracting the unknown egg. It was still as stubborn as before. 

Nevertheless, Ban was not disappointed as he could at least feel that the unknown egg had somewhat become closer to him. During the last try, the light that came from the blood contract was brighter than before and it glowed longer than usual. 

He thought that it would not be long before he could successfully contract it. 

He then wondered what kind of Beast it would be after it hatched. 

It's grade should be higher than the Lord Level and it's strength should also not be lower than D-Master Rank. 

After all, the Blood Contractor skill could not contract it with his current strength. 

Ban stored the Unknown Egg again on the Beast Tattoo. He put it right beside the Termite. 

Ban noticed that the Termite was visibly afraid of the egg. However, he did not take it to mind and proceeded to sit in a lotus position in front of Eva. 

He also took another Beast Core and placed it right in front of stomach. 

He then closed his eyes and started meditating according to the manual he just received.

He was in a very dark place. In front of him was a blob of light. According to the manual, it should be the Beast Core that he placed in front of him earlier. 

He was now in this place called imaginary space. 

Following the instructions of the manual, Ban reached out and took a piece from that blob of light. 

He was able to successfully get a tiny piece and he did not waste any time as he proceeded to put it in his mouth. 

A surge of warm energy flowed in his body and it was then that Ban knew he was doing the right thing. 

Knowing that, he did not stop and even made his movements faster. Harvesting lights from the Beast Core then inserting it in his mouth. 

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Ban, while he was busy devouring those tiny lights, two silhouettes of a man and woman actually appeared on his back. 

They stood on his left and right respectively as they observed him with interest. 

Outside the imaginary space, the Beast Core in Ban's hand could be seen getting smaller with a speed visible to the naked eye..

The rate of his absorption was even greater than that of Eva who was a Queen candidate. 

The rate of absorption depends on the talent and the manual used by the person.

Ban opened his eyes right after he finished devouring that blob of light in that imaginary space. 

Looking around, he was startled as he did not expect that it was already morning. Inside that imaginary space, he thought that only an hour had passed. 

He noticed the shattered Beast Core and could not help but be taken aback. He asked the System about what was going on but it only replied that the energy inside that Beast Core has already been dried, hence the reason why it shattered into pieces. 

Just as Ban was about to ask how can it be finished that quickly, he suddenly noticed a blinking exclamation mark at the corner of his eyes.

There was an unopened notification yet again. 

Before he could 'click' on it, he suddenly saw Eva moving in front of his eyes. And upon a closer look, it looks like Eva's the Beast Core that Eva absorbed has also been shattered already. 

Ban thought that her situation should be normal as she had absorbed essences from that Beast Core before, after all. 

Ban shook his head and finally clicked on that exclamation icon. 

A System screen then surfaces in front of him and reading the contents, he could not help but widened his eyes in surprise.
