"I'll come…" 

Kuys and Ban stared at Emilia as if they had seen a ghost.

'She was actually the first one to answer?' Both of them thought at the same time.

"Great, then you two can go immediately!" Kuys exclaimed hurriedly as if he was afraid that she might change her mind. 

Kuys took out a pouch under the counter and said, "There's a total of 100 Gold Coins inside, use them to buy the things that I have listed. If there's an extra, you two can use them all you want." 

Kuys said in a calm manner. It was as if he had already practiced these lines a thousand times before.

"Alright!" It was Ban who agreed this time. 

As the male, he could not allow Emilia to take the lead. He has read about it from one of the books before, he doesn't want to be a beta male. 

Seeing that they were living, Eva immediately gulped the remaining soda in her throat before she jumped towards Ban's head, settling there as if it was a cushion. 

The Server Monkey also seemed to have realized the same thing as it immediately climbed on Emilia's back, before ultimately settling on the side of her neck. 

Ban took the pouch that contained the Gold Coins and the list before reaching his hand towards Emilia's hand.

At the same moment, the various female and male adventurers had already started to surround them. Although they might seem busy talking to themselves and drinking the new drink soda, it was clear as day that they all have another and the same agenda, they wanted to get close to Emilia and Ban. 

The same moment Ban touched Emilia's hand, a huge smile hung on Kuys lips as he suddenly yelled, garnering everyone's attention in an instant. Kuys winked at Ban as if telling him that it was his chance. 

Ban nodded and did not waste the opportunity given to him by Kuys, he immediately pulled Emilia away from the crowd and exited the Kuys Bar swiftly without any hindrance. 

Ban rented a carriage and notified the driver to head towards the Mortal Market area. 

The carriage driver followed his instructions very well and thirty minutes later, they arrived at their destination. 

Ban exited the carriage first and like a gentleman, he offered his hand to support Emilia. 

Emilia smiled at this and said a simple thank you which made Ban's heart palpitate a little. 

On this day, he seems to have noticed Emilia smiling more than usual. No, to be more precise, ever since Ban arrived here years ago, it was his first time seeing Emilia smiling more than once in a single day. 

Unbeknownst to Ban, Emilia has actually noticed Ban since his arrival years ago. She only observed him from afar. She had witnessed how Ban went from being the depressed and haggard young boy to the current him who was cheerful and helpful towards the other waitresses and Kuys. 

The Mortal Market as the same suggests was a market dedicated to the Mortals. 

Mortals are despised by some of the Summoners especially when they are already over sixteen years old. 

The age of sixteen was the optimal age for the people of the Summoner's World to awaken their slumbering Monster. Those who can't afford the fee and were unable to awaken, can only blame themselves for not working hard and being born in a poor family. 

In the world full of Summoners, the Mortal's could only struggle under their feet, especially in the Eagle City that Mortal's are greatly ostracized by the Summoners to the point that they saw them as the bearer of bad luck of the city. 

Fortunately, the Mortals still felt relieved that they didn't receive the same treatment as that of the 'freaks.' 

Under the oppression of the Summoners, the Mortals could only train their body to the limits using various methods. 

Those Mortals who manage to train their body and become as strong as X-Mortal Beast and Monsters are called Warriors. 

They are not common in the Eagle City but it was rumored that in the Falcon City, the city adjacent to the Eagle City has a lot of warriors walking around the city. 

The moment Ban realized that he was a 'freak', he immediately decided to train his body and become a warrior. He already has the foundation from the training of his gramps and the only thing that was left was to awaken an energy called the Warrior Energy. 

It was said that as long as one undergoes rigorous and heavy training, or also called the 'training to death' a warrior will be able to awaken the hidden warrior energy inside them. 

Ban heard all of it from the daily gossip of the Adventurers dining in the Kuys Bar. 

Unfortunately, when he tried it, he also failed miserably just like when he tried to awaken as a summoner. It seems that without the interference of the System, he was really destined to become a mediocre figure in all his life. 

After a couple of minutes of walking side by side, Ban and Emilia finally arrived at an area full of people. 

At one glance, one could tell that the people around are only Mortals as they don't have any monster summons around them. There were an occasional few but Summoners around here were really a strange occurrence. 

Summoners regarded themselves as the lucky ones chosen by the God of Summoners. In their eyes, as long as you don't have the ability to summon, you are trash. 

The Mortal Market was created solely for the Mortals for them to trade and sell goods with one another. Of course they only sell and trade goods that were within their capabilities as all of them were afraid of offending a passerby summoner if they saw them selling beast parts or other summoner related materials. 

It has already happened before so it will surely happen again in the future. 

With the presence of Eva and the Server Monkey, the two immediately garnered attention the moment they stepped inside the Mortal Market. It was as if all of the gazes were directed at them at this moment. 

The Mortals became gloomy seeing the appearance of the two Summoners, they thought they might need to suffer and endure humiliation this time again.

However, a moment later, the Mortals widened their eyes in surprise after recognizing who the Summoners were. 

"It's actually Ban and Emilia!"

"Everyone look, Ban has really become a Summoner. What a surprise, will he still remember us?" 

"The good girl Emilia is also here, it has been ages since I last saw her. Oh my God of Warriors, she's still as beautiful as ever." 

They burst into a cheer as they did not expect for them to visit here. And this time, Ban was actually already a summoner. 

Ban was a frequent visitor here previously. He always asked for part-time jobs around here if he can't find any in the neighboring houses around Kuys Bar. It was also mainly due to his works here that he was able to gather enough coins for his awakening. 

He was very familiar with almost everyone of the store owners of the Mortal Market. A smile could not help but blossom under his face after seeing their lively appearance again.

Suddenly one of the oldest Mortal uncles appeared and said in a serious tone, "Everyone, what are you doing? Don't cause any commotion. Who knows if their attitude has already changed ever since we last met them. We can't endure their wrath, please be mindful of what you're saying, everyone!" 

With his warning, the others immediately paled as they immediately shut their mouth, no longer daring to speak in front of the two. 

As a Summoner whose strength was already at the peak of the F-Apprentice Rank, Ban naturally was able to hear their discussion. 

Hearing what the uncle said, a frown could not help but appear on his face. 

The others were now looking at their direction with fear in their eyes. Some did not even dare to look at them and only lowered their gaze to the ground. 

Summoners are a terrifying existence. They could not afford to offend even the weakest of them. Even the rare warriors who awakened their warrior energy also did not dare to act haughtily in front of the Summoners. 

Seeing the situation unfold, Ban realized that the Mortals were really treated badly by the Summoner. He sighed deeply as he knew that without the System, there were only two options for him. To die or to become a Mortal that would always hide from the city guards. 

"Everyone, what are you doing? Don't ya'll recognize me anymore?" Ban yelled in an excited voice as he approached them with great strides. 

Emilia followed behind him closely. Her small lips curved upwards a little before it returned to normal. 

Seeing Ban's enthusiasm, a little head suddenly poked out of the back of a mortal vendor. 

"Brother Ban? Are you really brother Ban? Uncle said you became a Summoner and have become a bad guy, is that true?" 

"Sshhh, shut up!" The kid's mother was taken aback by the sudden movement of her child and she could not but shiver in fright before covering the kid's mouth forcefully. 

"I'm sorry for my kid's behavior, Lord Ban! Please just punish me instead of her!" She immediately knelt and kowtowed on all fours as she said that. 

Seeing that, the frown on Ban's face deepened as his figure ran towards the kneeling vendor. 

"What are you doing, Auntie Wang? Please get up immediately!"
