Almighty Summoner System

Now that Ban was learning a lot of new things regarding that subject, he no longer wanted to stop learning about it even though the System mission about it had already ended. He even regretted that he did not learn about them sooner. 

Ban looked at the window and noticed that the sun was already up. He tidied everything including himself before he decided to go downstairs to get their breakfast. 

"Come on, little Eva." He said as he beckoned for Eva to jump over his shoulder.

However, after Eva ranked up earlier, her size had grown bigger compared to before. And it looks like his shoulder could no longer contain her plump normal form.

Eva's had become bigger after ranking up, she was now as big as Ban's head with her normal form. She's slimmer but taller in her combat form so it might still be possible for sit on his shoulder with that form on.

However, nothing was stopping Eva from searching for a new spot to settle in. After a few searches, she finally decided to settle above Ban's head. 

Ban did not mind it and only smiled as he patted her tiny head. He then walked out of his room in the attic and at that moment, the usual daily mission issued by the system was once again issued to him. 

The punishment, 'A Big Surprise', was no longer there, instead, what replaced it was a new one, that he also does not quite like.

Seeing the new punishment, Ban could not help but sigh in regret. He was given a free chance to contract those monstrous beings, and yet he did not even bother trying to contract them even once. What a wasted opportunity. 

Of course, he did not blame himself that much, there was no clear instruction from the System, and who would think of contracting them when he can't even see their basic stats? 

What if they squashed him like a fly if he dared to try approaching just a few meters away from them? That would be terrifying.

Fortunately, even though it was a punishment, he was still able to gain a reward from it. Not to mention, he even met Tori again there.

Although the size was vastly different, he knew for sure that it was Tori. If possible, he wanted to visit there again and meet with Tori again. 

Of course, he would not do it for now. After all, he was still quite weak compared to the Monster there, if in instance he would land on the same spot where the monsters are as huge as a large building again, and with the recent adjustment of the punishment, he would surely die, no doubt.

Ban put the matter at the back of his head for now as he doesn't have a plan of failing the mission anyway, at least, not for now.

Eva noticed that Ban's mood had somehow become bitter, she immediately used her hands to rub his cheeks, as if to console him.

Ban smiled at her action and he patted her lightly again before he went downstairs. 

The Kuys Bar was bustling with activity again even though it was still early in the morning. The waitresses were busy while Kuys was calmly wiping a transparent glass at the counter. 

As usual, as if he senses that someone was looking at him, Kuys immediately turned around towards Ban's location. Kuys waved his hands, beckoning for him and Eva to come over.

Upon arriving, Kuys instantly noticed the size difference of Eva. 

"She ranked up?" 

"Yeah, earlier…" 

Kuys shrugged his shoulders. He did not think it was strange as he already expected for something like this to happen. But he was just a little surprised that she ranked up pretty fast, he estimated that even with Ban's 'Monster Tattoo' she should only be able to rank up in one week. That's why he proposed that condition to Ban before. 

However, it's not even a week yet since Ban awakened. 

"Alright! I'll allow you to participate in the Beast Tide but make sure that you prioritize your safety. I'll also be participating, but I'm afraid that I can't look out for you during that time. 

Just be aware of your surroundings and do not fight unnecessarily. There are a lot of available Adventurers that will also participate during that time, so no need to get worked up so much about it, alright?"

"Noted, grandpa Kuys!' Ban answered without hesitation. 

It was in his intention to let Kuys know about Eva's recent rank up. After all, Kuys would not let him participate in the Beast Tide, if Eva did not reach at least F-Apprentice Rank. 

He said that it was the minimum requirement to at least survive during the Beast Tide. But after meeting the Elder Red Panda as well as the Century Centipede, he doubts if it was really the case.

If the Tranquil Forest and the Yellow Desert have that kind of monstrosity living in them, how much more with the Forest of Lagom which was known as being more dangerous than the other two. 

Kuys was satisfied with his reply so he immediately served Ban and Eva's breakfast without delay. Maybe it was his reward for Eva's recent breakthrough but Kuys served more food than usual for them.

After eating, Ban recalled something so he immediately inquired about it. 

"Oh yeah grandpa Kuys, are there any possibilities that Dark Guild members could still register as an Adventurer in Eagle City? And if there is, what should be the main reason for it?" 

Kuys white eyebrows wrinkled after hearing his question. He finished wiping another set of transparent glass before he answered, "Well, considering their current method of testing Dark Guild members, I won't be surprised if there's already a lot of mole hiding under the banner of the Adventurers Guild…"
