Eh? Keith blinked. Do you want head pats as well? This was a stunner since he didn't peg her to be the type to like this thing. He usually did it to Arlo and Alfia as he saw the first as a little brother. For the latter, it was because she enjoyed it, albeit her words.

"...You're okay with this?"

"Mmhmm." Udine nodded. Keith looked at Arlo, and the latter shook his head. He was unsure of what to do with this situation. This was all Keith!

"Okay." A beautiful girl asked for head pats? Was he really going to say no to that? As he patted the spirit's head, her hair was smooth as silk. Yet, it was cool to the touch. I want to pat it more. While Keith did, a slight grin formed on Udine's mouth. She felt more like a cat than a spirit. After a few minutes,

"Thank you."

"...Mmhmm." Keith nodded. He turned to Arlo, "Arlo, do you know of any materials that look nice?" 

"Hmm?"

"I'm thinking about building something else. However, I need some interesting materials to build it." Thinking about it, he could have made it a long time ago. But it would take a lot of work.

"Is it a building structure or a tool?"

"Building."

"Then what about olt bricks? They're used in most buildings and have a nice color too."

"Nothing with bricks. The last one I built was comprised of bricks. I want to do something new."

"Then marble would be a good fit." Arlo thought about it. As the two discuss about this, 

"How about this?" Udine then brought something out. What was brought out was a dark stone. It was translucent and sparkled. 

"Shine some light on it as well." Keith nodded as he made a small light and shined it into the stone. When he did that, the color reflected a beautiful amber on the other side. 

"It feels so warm and comfy," Arlo muttered as he waved his hand in the light.

It has an effect like this? Keith blinked as he waved his hand back and forth in the light. It was surprisingly warm and comfortable.  

"Where did you get this?"

"Bottom of an ocean," Udine answered. 

"This is incredible. I think I could make something interesting with this. It would be perfect." Keith grinned as ideas came to his mind. 

"Did I do good?"

"Mmhmm, you did great!" 

"..."

"Ahh." Keith patted the spirit's head again. It seemed she liked head pats. And he wasn't going to say no to that! While the three continued to talk, 

"Leaders, the smell is powerful," Arlo muttered. As time went on, the smell coming from the smoker was incredible. 

"..." Udine was silent, but her ears twitched as she stared at the smoker. 

"Do you want to try a few pieces right now?" 

"Hmm?" "We can?" Didn't he say it would take 6 hours?

"Of course we can. Actually, I had prepared some pieces for us to try first." As he placed all the meat in, he also placed some smaller pieces in advance to test out. 

"Yay!" Arlo was excited while Udine nodded. 

"Alright, let me open it." Keith opened the smoker. The moment he did, the smoke smacked him in the face! 

"Leader, I have never smelled something so good before!" "Indeed." Even though Udine and Arlo were a few meters away, the two could smell the powerful aroma!

"Mmhmm. Me too." Keith grinned as he took some meat out. As he brought it over to the table, the others were amazed. What was on the table was different types of meat. 

"Keith, is it supposed to look like that?" Udine pointed at a specific meat. It was charred. 

"Mmhmm, it's supposed to look like this. Trust me; you're going to love it." Without a second later, Keith chewed. And he wasn't alone, as Udine and Arlo soon followed. 

There's such a depth of flavors. As Keith chewed, he could taste the flavor from the walking tree. The seasoning he also placed was further enhanced by the smoke. 

Staring at the others, Udine and Arlo were mesmerized by the food as well. 

"You guys can't be surprised by this. We still have more." This was only the first one. There were so many others on the plate! Staring at it, Udine and Arlo nodded.

It was time to try all of them!
