Volume 6.5 Chapter 45: You Finally Got It?

"What's the matter?" Keith asked innocently, his head tilted. 

"You brat! How dare you eat without us again!" Cadmus growled, his hand gripping Keith's neck. Unfazed, Keith continued to savor the steak.

"Ah!" "Were you trying to get my plate?" Keith grinned as he knew what this guy was planning. 

"..." That was a yes. 

Keith shrugged, "Treat it as the privilege of the one cooking it." He was only taste-testing.  

"..." The others went cold. 

"You know I still have you in my hands, right?" I could throw you off the island! 

"Relax, I'm going to cook for you all. Don't worry about it." Keith wasn't going to forget about them. Hearing this, Cadmus still didn't put him down.

"What?"

"I don't trust you. Who knows if you would steal another bite." This kid was sneaky like that!

"..."

Udine questioned, "What kind of meat are you cooking?" From how it smelled, it was more delicious than the food she had during dinner. 

"This is from a dragator." That caused Herrick and the others to brighten, 

"You mean you finally got it!"

"Yep, yep." Keith nodded, "So, if you want me to cook, can you lower me?" Cadmus still had him by the scruff of his neck; he looked like a house cat. 

"Ah," Cadmus quickly placed him down and wiped his shoulders to make him clean, "You look so nice, Keith. Now get to work."

"Heh," Keith shook his head.

"What are you going to make?" Alfia questioned. 

"For starters, I was thinking about some steaks." Keith cracked his neck back and forth. 

"Get to work then!" Cadmus didn't wait and quickly turned to the others, "Let's not bother him any longer! Now move!" Without any hesitation, he kicked everyone out of there!  

"Hey!" "We want to stay!" 

The others wanted to watch Keith work, but Cadmus kicked all of them out. The funny thing was he was the person who brought them over here!

Keith shook his head. This dragon. Then again, he could focus on the food. This dragator meat is exceptional. Little fat was on it, yet it wasn't chewy or hard to eat. What was more, the flavor was intense as well. 

"I can also make meatballs with it." Keith cracked his knuckles as he started to mince them up. Slowly, the meat was minced up. Cracking an egg in, herbs and spices were chucked in. The last was the bread crumbs; everything was ready. 

Keith slowly mixed the meat up, creating the meatball mixture. The next step was to slowly roll the meatballs into a sphere. 

Oiling up the pan, the meatballs were placed in it. Perfect. Keith grinned as he smelled the meatballs cooking up. And he wasn't the only one.

"Mmhmm! It smells so delicious!" Nephele muttered. Diana and Udine grabbed Nephele, "What are you doing?"

"The smell is bringing me forward!" It was dangerous! How could such a meat be so enticing! 

"You two as well." Gabriel grabbed onto Herrick and Melor. Those two were going to jump in.

"What about the principal?"

"Got that one covered." Sohma and Aidiun already clutched onto his shoulders. This guy was not flying in there.  

"Now for the sauce." Cloud Pig and saupple should be good. He found the cloud pigs could make an amazing sauce. Mixing it with the saupple made it aromatic and robust. As Keith made the sauce, the others almost couldn't contain it!

"I'm going in!" Cadmus roared. Before he had the chance, everyone had grabbed him by the legs and arms,

"Don't do it!"

"Yeah!"

"Then why are they in there already?!" Cadmus pointed at Aria and the three spirits, who were in the kitchen. Actually, the four never left! They just stood there while Cadmus brought everyone out! 

"Eh?!" They completely forgot about them!  

"Keith! Can we get a bite?" Fira pouted. Her stomach was growling for some new food. 

"Ho." "Woof!" "Kwak." Aria and the other two were the same. They couldn't hide their hunger.

"Sure, you guys can have some." Keith placed a meatball in front of all of them.  

"Yippe!" Fira smiled as she took a bite. 

"So sweet!" Fira couldn't help but exclaim. It was delicious and savory! As she continued to eat, 

"Keith, can we get some as well?" Sarah asked. Since the little ones were there, it was time they could ask.

"Sure." Keith laughed. He heard everything they did; the smell seemed a little too enticing.
