Volume 6.5 Chapter 35: I’m A Lucky Dog
Keith blinked, "I’m a lucky dog." He wasn't going to lie about that. He was the only dude in that party.
"You know White Lily is considered the 2nd most beautiful group in the city, right?"
"Huh? There's a ranking?" Why would people make a ranking? But that caused Dennis to explain,
"Mmhmm. All of them are really beautiful! People would kill to go out with one of them!"
"I see." Keith's response made Dennis scowl, "Why are you acting so nonchalant with everything?!" How could he not be moved when he said something like that.
"Because I can." Keith knew about them being really charming. Just because there was a ranking didn't mean anything changed. Before Dennis could say some more,
"Keeeith!" "Ah! Senior Ange!" Keith saw Angelica walking over with Sakura, "Are you here to order again?"
"Mmhmm. But I wanted to ask for some cookies." "Angelica." Sakura couldn't help but frown at her friend. She was being way too direct!
Angelica shook her head, "It's Keith. If you're not direct, sometimes, he would not understand."
"You finished all the cookies I gave you again." Occasionally, he would give the girl a jar full of them.
"Well, Sakura liked them, and we ate it together."
"...I see." Keith could only let out a dry chuckle. It was not a surprise if it finished with the two combined. He thought about it, "I don't have any cookies with me. But I do have something else you can try."
"Hmm?" The two's ears perked up.
"I have an extra pie here. The two of you can take it." The pie came out of the storage. It was still fresh and hot.
The smell alone jolted the two of them.
"We'll take it! Thank you so much, my adorable little junior!" Angelica didn't hesitate to hug him, and Sakura patted his head. "Thank you."
"Mmhmm." Keith nodded as he returned to work. But as he did, "What's the matter with you, Dennis?" He noticed the distant look Dennis had. What followed behind was Cedric and the others doing the same thing.
"WHAT KIND OF BS DID I JUST WATCH?!"
"Uh, just gave someone something to eat." Keith shrugged.
"Keith is such a sinful man." Shakti shook her head. Watching the entire interaction, there was nothing to say about it; Keith was just acting like a player.
"Uh." "Shouldn't you have retorted to that?!"
"At this point, I kinda accepted it." Keith scratched his head. Like, the number of times that was said was something he accepted.
"..."
"But do you have pies on stand-by, Keith?" Morgan couldn't help but chuckle. Someone asked for something, and it was good to go!
"It's the pie you ate yesterday. I had a spare one." Keith overshot on the pie count.
"..." So you handed them a free pie?
"Why didn't you hand it to me?!" Cedric screamed! If there was free pie, he would have taken it without question!
"That's because they're beautiful, Grandpa Cedric," Keith smirked as he said that.
"..."
"What about me?!" Shakti interjected. She was definitely a beautiful woman.
"You can have this." Keith shoved the crepe into her mouth.
"So delicious!"
"..." This is a cruel world.
...
As Keith pulled his cart home, he received a message.
Keith, we have a situation!
Diana was mind talking with him. And when he heard that, Keith's expression dropped! What do you mean we have a situation? If Diana said something was wrong, something definitely bad occurred!
Keith didn't hesitate as he ran with all his might! Everything in his path felt a strong wind smacking their face. Keith didn't mind as he quickly returned home.
"What happened, Sarah?!" Keith noticed how Sarah was standing on the side. She had an anxious look as she spotted Keith,
"No time to talk! Please go to the back! You will understand!" Keith followed after her. Everyone was there, and Keith's eyes widened when he saw what happened.
"The garden?!" What Keith saw was his garden withered up. But that was what was surprising; what he saw was the grass around like that as well.
