"Sorry about all of this, Knight." Keith apologized as he patted the horse's head. The two sat on the side of the field; since he had a broken arm, it was decided he would be sitting out. That included Knight as well.
"Ngeh!" Knight was calm as he grunted. It didn't matter whether or not he could go on the track or field; he would decimate it.
Right now, he could relax.
No other horse was able to deal with him. Keith patted the horse's head again. The only thing he could do was to sit there and do nothing.
"Hah, how are you feeling?" Krystal walked over. When she did, Keith smiled, "I'm doing better. Shouldn't you be practicing?"
"Not going to. It wouldn't be considered training." The only one who could push Krystal was Keith. The rest would only be cannon fodder. It wouldn't be considered a warm-up for her.
"You could teach them?" There was that. Krystal could help the students out. Her abilities were more than enough to do this.
"Don't want to." "Why not?"
"Because I don't want to." Krystal looked away. But Keith made a realization, "Don't tell me you're scared?"
"N-no!" Krystal shook her head. But Keith chuckled, "Relax. If you don't want to, you don't have to. No one is going to force you."
"Hmpf!"
"By the way, you should fix your form on the left." While Keith sat on the side, he watched the others. Especially Krystal and Jack.
"Alright." Krystal nodded.
...
After class, Keith returned home. Jack had other things to do. When he returned home, he was attacked by two blurs.
"Keith!" "Po!" Fira and Mir greeted him at the front door. Fira tilted her head, "Where is Sarah?" She noticed Sarah and the others were not there.
"Ahh, they have other things to do. They will return later." He was the only one home.
I can test this now. Keith brought the two over to the garden.
"Keith, where are you going?" Fira frowned, curious as to what he had planned. They were in charge of Keith's health.
"I won't do anything dangerous." From how they were ready to spring into action, they were prepared for him to do something dangerous.
How can I use gravity magic more effectively? That was what he wanted to figure out. His battle with the raptor made him think about using gravity differently. And to get better, he needed to be more creative with his abilities.
The best one to work with was gravity. His mastery was lacking. But that also meant he could be more open-minded with it. The other elements, he was taught a specific way to use it. However, he was free to adjust this one.
A thought came to his mind; can I change the gravity differently in a different direction?
Gravity had always been downwards. It didn't matter if it was this world or the previous; that was ingrained into everyone's mind. But this was a magic world. What if he could alter gravity's direction.
"Huff." Keith took a deep sigh before he raised his hand.
"!" Keith was being pulled forward. It worked slightly, a slight tug forward. But this was perfect. Keith took a rock and used his gravity,
Swoosh! The rock went flying across the backyard, slamming into the barrier.
"Wow!" "Po!" The two were surprised by this throw. But they were not as surprised as Keith. He was grinning from ear to ear. I know what I can do.
Keith was prepared for some testing. However,
"What are you moving?!" Turning his head, he spotted Herrick with wide eyes.
"I was doing some testing," Keith grinned. But that grin only made Herrick more furious.
"Didn't we tell you before not to do anything crazy?!" They didn't want Keith to do anything! But that caused Keith to wave his hand. He was able to do that.
"..." Should I knock him out? Keith could do it to shut him. However,
"Guys! Keith is working out again!" Herrick saw that glint! That was why he was getting back up!
"Why are you up?!" "I-"
"No buts! go back to your room!" Alfia snapped her fingers, and both Melor and Herrick picked him up, throwing him back to the room. That made Keith laugh. These guys are too much of a troublemaker.
