"What do you mean, Principal?!" Lola asked. Shackles?
"Do you mean the number of people?" With so many people against Keith, that was a heavy shackle.
"Ah, no. The people were his thing," Cadmus shook his head, "There's another restriction I placed on Keith. I asked him to wear gravity bracelets,"
"What?! But isn't that what Sophomores used!" Lola was a 3rd year student. And she was shocked when she heard that.
"Mmhmm." Cadmus nodded, "But I handed it to Keith before the academy started. I think he's been wearing it for a few months." Cadmus lost track.
"What?!" Lola was shocked when she heard that! A few months was a long time! But,
"Isn't that really unfair to Keith? He's already fighting with a disadvantage." The 50 fighters was a humongous disadvantage. But he had to wear those bracelets?
"Well, I had to put extra restrictions, or he might go psycho and blow everything up." Cadmus laughed as he added, "After all, he's the only one who was able to injure me,"
"What?!" Lola and the other students were shocked! Heck, even some of the professors were stunned!
Who was this person in front of them? He was none other than an ancient dragon! No one could injure him. Yet the person fighting right now did it!
"Put up a defensive layer!" Someone roared. Like that, they brought out a couple of shields in front of Keith.
"Magic squad! Fire!" The mages were ready to fire. But Keith scoffed,
"Oh, please." He cast something and tossed it.
"No!" Like that, the mages behind the wall of shields exploded!
"What happened?!" Lola was in disbelief. She saw Keith throwing something and then the mages exploding.
Cadmus explained, "Keith tossed a wind blade. It detonated all the mages' spells in their face." Wind magic was hard to see. But Cadmus and Tennol could sense the magic.
"That kid had a great presence of mind," Tennol praised.
"What do you mean?"
"Usually, when someone is fighting a mage, they would try to dodge rather than try to detonate the magic in front of them. That shows Keith has a great presence of mind," Tennol explained. It was not a surprise.
Keith had always been the type to keep a cool head in dangerous situations.
...
"Calm down! We still have the advantage!" They still had a defensive line! He couldn't break through that.
"Tsk, you think this is enough to stop me?" Keith scoffed as he raised his fist at the shield. Without hesitation, he slammed his fist into it, shattering it!
"..." There was nothing to be said.
"This is too unbelievable," Lola muttered. But then she turned to Cadmus and Tennol,
"Principal, I'm confused. I've heard a lot of rumors about Keith. His skills are considered at the middle of the pack of S-class." How was this middle of the pack? He was at the top!
"Oh, that's because the kid wore those bracelets,"
"Hmm?"
Tennol added, "Keith always wears 3-4 bracelets on each limb."
"Three times?!" Lola was only able to wear two on each limb. And she was struggling with that!
"Yeah, that's why most of his scores are mediocre," Cadmus added.
"Then can you tell us how strong he would be if he took the bracelets off?" Keith was still wearing a pair.
"Hmm?" Cadmus thought, "If I have to say it, probably top 3 in the academy."
Not in the grade. But the entire academy.
"Top 3?! Does that mean he could defeat the student council president and the disciplinary captain?!" One and two were taken by the two of them.
"Hmm? Hard to tell. They would win if they fought solely on swordsmanship and magic. But if we're talking about a fight with no holds bared, Keith would win."
Cadmus grabbed his chin as he thought about this. He was quite interested in the outcome as well.
"..." Are you kidding me? Those were some high praise coming from Cadmus's mouth.
And Todd heard everything! He turned back to the fight where Keith was demolishing the shield like no tomorrow.
This guy! He didn't think he would be this much of a monster!
"Rush him! I don't care how you do it! Get him!" Todd screamed.
"Well, this is over," Dalen stated as he stared at a screen displaying the battle. It wasn't just the Colosseum who saw this. The entire fight was being broadcast throughout the city!
"This kid isn't holding back," Skar muttered. He remembered how Keith took out those golems. It was no surprise that he could defeat those people.
"Indeed," Dalen sighed, "Thank goodness you didn't mess with him. He would have beaten you black and blue,"
"Boss!" Skar's face turned red when he heard that.
"What? I'm only telling the truth."
