Pure disgust was plastered on Todd's expression as he stared at Arlo. That caused Arlo to look down.
"Filthy halfling! Why are you sitting at the table with the prince and princess?! Scram!" Todd screamed in disgust as he scowled at Arlo. He couldn't believe someone like him sat here.
Was he looking for trouble?!
"I think you should be the one who needs to scram," Keith's cold voice interrupted. His cold voice caused everyone to stare at him in shock. Well, Carolyn was the only one who was calm about this.
Well, like this was going to be a nuisance. Oh, brother. You made him this mad.
"What?" Todd never thought the person who was leaving was him. He questioned again, "Are you kidding?" He thought Keith was playing with him.
"No, I'm not. You need to leave." Keith stated with a cold expression.
"You're going to protect a filthy halfling than another noble?!" That was unthinkable! How could this man be this much of a fool?!
"I don't want to protect trash like you. And you're a waste of space," Keith turned to Jack, "How are you friends with someone like that?" That was something he had to question.
He never expected Jack to be friends with him.
"I-"
Todd's expression turned red as he glared at Keith, "You're going to regret this!"
Keith got up from his seat. He was taller than Todd as he looked down. It was imposing,
"Oh, please. If I regret kicking a nobody like you out, I would strip naked and run around the entire academy." When Keith said that, Carolyn and the girls blushed. They were imagining that scenario!
"You!" Todd didn't know what to say about it. There were a few huffs before he walked away. Jack looked at Keith but followed after Todd.
"Hmpf!" Keith sat back down. The rest stared at him.
"What's the matter?"
"I've never seen you so angry before," Tristan commented. The others nodded as well. This was a surprise. Keith was so calm and composed.
"Hmm? I can get angry as well," Keith chuckled.
"But not like that," Gabriel added.
"Keith, you're the epitome of sunshine and rainbows. Seeing you like that is scary." Carolyn sighed. She had seen him angry before.
And she couldn't get used to it even now. The man would never get angry. He usually grunted or scolded the person. But it was light. The only way to describe it was like a warning.
But this was cold and callous. This was the rare Keith angry moment.
"Who cares. That guy messed with my friend," Keith scoffed. He turned to Arlo, "Arlo, don't be so down on what those people say,"
"But I'm causing trouble for you."
"You're not the one causing trouble. It's those who keep thinking you are." Keith shook his head and added, "Since you decided to join my island, that means you're my friend."
He wasn't going to let anyone bully his friends.
"Yeah. If anyone tries to mess with you, I will beat those guys up," Gabriel was in the same boat. No one could mess with their own and get away from it.
"Thank you," Arlo's complexion became brighter with that. Keith sighed, "But that fool hadn't changed a bit,"
"Hmm? You know Todd?" Tristan questioned.
"You can say that," Keith explained about the incident at the restaurant when he was little.
"What a bad attitude,"
"Keith, you should have kicked him to the curb!" Carolyn stated. But Keith shrugged,
"I thought he would learn from that. But I guess he didn't. Anyways, let's continue our lunch," Keith wanted to eat. But when he looked down,
"Hey,"
"Hmm?"
"What happened to my lunch?" Keith questioned. He saw half of it was missing! He turned to one person. She was the only culprit.
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Carolyn tried to play coy as she looked away. But Keith brought his face close to hers,
Sniff sniff.
"What are you doing?!"
"I knew it. You ate my pasta a minute ago!"
"What are you?! A dog?!" How could his smell tell time?!
"But Sarah and Maria were eating from your lunch as well!"
"Carolyn!" The two girls stared at her sudden betrayal. While Keith talked with Todd, the two took food from his lunchbox.
"So you guys were snacking, huh?" Keith glanced at the three girls. They were trying their best not to look him in the eye.
Keith turned to Gabriel and Arlo, "Arlo, Gabriel, I'm thinking about making something tomorrow. I hope you guys are prepared for something delicious."
"We are!" What is he going to make? The two were excited.
"..." The girls stared at Keith in shock.
"..." Keith gave them a devious grin. He added, "It's going to be sweet and delicious. I guarantee your sweet tooth will be filled."
"Keith!" Carolyn quickly tugged on Keith's shoulders, "I was wrong!"
"Too late for an apology," Keith shrugged.
"Pff!" Arlo and Gabriel were laughing at this sight. That caused the three to glare,
"You guys can only laugh because you get to have good food!"
