"Mmhmm," Melor looked at the grade with confidence,
"That's good," Tennol nodded.
"Next up is Scarlet."
"Understood," Scarlet got up. And like that, she threw a punch as well. There was a loud sound when her fist came into contact with the machine.
What she got was an A. Scarlet frowned when she saw that, but Tennol didn't care, "Good, now the next person, come up."
Most of the students from S-class hit around A. There were some who hit around S, like Melor.
"Good job, Carolyn." Keith smiled.
"I think I might've hit the lowest," Carolyn pouted. She hit an A-. Keith patted her head,
"Relax, you've done better than most students."
Bamm! Keith and the rest turned their head to look at the punching machine. It was dented. Herrick had a proud smile as he looked at the score.
It was S+!
"Good job, Herrick." Tennol was surprised. He didn't think someone would get an S+.
"Keith, you're up next," Tennol stated.
"Understood," Keith got up. And when he did, everyone stared at him without a thought.
"Keith, you got this," Carolyn cheered. Gabriel nodded to this. That was because they knew Keith would get a high rank. After what he did to the dwarves, there was no way he wouldn't get a good grade.
Keith gave a wry smile as he stared at the machine. He closed his eyes. I'm going to have to focus all my strength. Keith threw out a punch without a thought!
A+
Okay. That's pretty good. Keith nodded as he was content with what he got.
But while he was content with what he got,
"He can't even get an S?"
"Seriously, how is he the representative?"
Keith didn't care about what the others were saying as he sat back down. Gabriel and Carolyn looked at him strangely.
"That's everyone. But this isn't the end. You're going to do some other tests!"
There were many other tests Keith had to do. It was simple. There were grip, speed, and reaction time tests. It was similar to the ones Shire handed out.
"Alright, this is the ranking of everyone here," A ranking screen showed all the classes of people there.
"Oh, that's good," Keith nodded his head. He was in the middle of the pack again. It was to be expected. But then he looked at the top three. They were Herrick, Ophelia, and Gabriel.
"I'm almost in last place," Carolyn frowned when she said this. Keith looked at where her name was. She was in the bottom five. Keith chuckled, "You just need to practice more,"
"Bleh." Carolyn stuck out her tongue.
The class continued on for a while before they finished.
During lunchtime, Carolyn couldn't help but scream, "I don't want to eat lunch!" It was only two days in this academy, but she had enough.
Keith laughed, "You'll have to get used to it."
"Please calm down, Carolyn," Sarah tried her best not to let her act like this. But Carolyn turned to her, "But all the food is horrible."
"Sister, I understand." Tristan shook his head as he gave her an understanding look. He had to eat this for a year now.
Acceptance. Tristan was at that stage in life.
Carolyn turned to Keith, "Keith, what did you bring today?"
"I brought sandwiches today," Keith opened his lunchbox for them to see. There were a bunch of delicious sandwiches.
"..." No one said a thing as they stared at the food there. They looked at the slop in their tray and then back to the delicious sandwiches.
"What are you doing?" Keith noticed a small hand reaching out at his lunchbox. He held onto it before it touched a sandwich.
"Ehehe, can I get one?" Carolyn questioned. Her instincts took over as she went to grab one from there.
"You got your own food,"
Carolyn cried, "Come on! How can you be like this when I'm in hell while you're in heaven!" That was the difference between the two!
She couldn't believe he would eat those sandwiches in her face!
"Fine. I did bring some extra," Keith understood how Carolyn would not like the school lunch. That was why he packed a little more. Carolyn brightened as she didn't even hesitate to take one!
"I miss this so much!" Carolyn munched on it!
Keith turned to the rest, "You guys can take some as well." He didn't forget about the others. Their eyes were bloodshot as they stared at Keith's lunchbox.
Hearing his words, the others didn't hesitate to grab a sandwich.
"So delicious,"
"How could something be so good,"
Sarah and Gabriel continued to eat without a thought. The sandwiches were delicious.
Keith smiled, "Thank you,"
"Keith, can I get another one?" Carolyn looked at him.
"I've only made one for you," Keith stated.
"But it was so good,"
"Glutton,"
"Hey! How can you call your princess a glutton," Carolyn glared at Keith.
Keith shrugged, "That's because you are,"
Like that, Keith continued to make fun of her as they ate. It was a good atmosphere.
