Volume 3 Chapter 38: Reunion
"Is everyone ready?" William asked. He was all dressed up. The same could be said for everyone else. They were all decked out in fancy clothing.
"Mmmhmm! We're all pretty!" Laura and Leon nodded. The two were dressed in the cutest clothing possible.
There was no way anyone would say they were anything but cute!
"Do you guys have to do this?" Keith questioned with a sigh. He was outfitted in his uniform.
Sophia nodded, "Of course we have to do this! You're going to be enrolled in the academy!"
"Also, this will be the first time we will be at the entrance ceremony," Sophia added.
They hadn't gone to Eric and the other two's entrance ceremony because it would have taken too long to get there. But they had the teleportation gate added to their city. There was no need to wait now.
"Keith looks so cool!" Fira stated. She was tending to the vegetables in Camelia's garden. This was the first time she saw it.
"Let's set off!" Like that, everyone got into the carriage as they set off. The two carriages arrived at the teleportation gate. They were teleported to the Academy.
"There's a lot of royalty here," Eric commented. He looked out the window and noticed there were many carriages. Each one was different from one another.
"Halt," The guards stopped them, "We're sorry. But the carriages have to be parked somewhere else." Because there were so many, they had to go on foot inside the academy.
"Understood," Lionel nodded. Everyone got off their carriage and entered the academy.
"Leon, Laura, stay close to us." There were too many people. If Leon and Laura got lost, it would be a problem. While they walked, a student called,
"Students! Please come over here!"
"I guess that's my cue," Keith smiled.
"Stay safe, Little Brother," Eric patted his shoulder.
"Bye-bye, Big brother!" Leon and Laura hugged Keith's legs. Keith smiled as he patted their heads. He turned to Aria and Fira,
"The two of you should watch over them,"
"Ho!" "Understood!" The two nodded and flew to their side. Like that, Keith walked off.
Keith asked one of the people, and they showed him where the other students were. As he entered, there were many students already there.
Where is Gabriel? Keith looked around. He was trying his best to find his friend. But with so many students here, it was difficult. While he searched,
"Keith!" Keith turned to see two people he recognized,
"Sarah, Jack! It's been a while," Keith smiled. It had been so long since they spoke with one another. The two had grown up.
"How did you find me?"
"I knew from that black hair of yours!" Sarah laughed. She spotted that hair a mile away.
"Ahaha," Keith scratched his head, "Is your father and mother here as well?"
"Mmhmm. The two of them are here," Sarah answered and questioned, "Is the Marquis and Marchioness also here?"
"Mmhmm, everyone in my family is here,"
"That's amazing,"
"Thank goodness I met you guys. I thought I would be alone," Keith sighed in relief. If he didn't meet someone here, he would be alone.
"Us too," It was good to see people they know. There were too many students here. While Keith talked with Sarah and Jack,
"Eh?" Keith's eyes were covered by someone.
"Guess who?" A soft voice questioned.
That voice. Keith chuckled, "Carolyn, can you not do something like this?" From her voice, he could tell who it was.
"Bleh, you should have answered better," Keith took her hands off and looked at the girl. She had changed so much. Her eyes became more sparkly, and her hair went down to her waist. She was quite the beauty.
"Why should I? It's too easy to guess,"
"No fun. Anyways, I need to talk to you about some things," Carolyn's expression turned cold.
"What is there to talk about?"
"For starters, why didn't you take the test with me?!" Carolyn stared at Keith menacingly.
Keith sighed, "That's because I took the long route."
"You should have used the teleportation gate!" His city had one!
"Waste of coins," Keith stated. He turned to Sarah and Jack, whose expressions were a little weird. Oh, yeah. Keith turned to Carolyn,
"Carolyn, these are my friends, Sarah and Jack."
"We greet the princess!" Sarah and Jack bowed their heads. They were only children of a Baron. They couldn't speak to the princess so casually.
Carolyn waved her hand, "You don't need to be so formal with me. Just call me Carolyn."
"Understood, Carolyn," Sarah nodded while Jack was silent. It seemed Carolyn and Sarah hit it off as they continued to talk with one another.
"It seems I'm late to the party."
