The box office performance of “MIT-21-TEAM” in mainland China remains to be seen, whereas in North America, it has already established a hot-selling, profitable situation. When the curtain fell on August 1-7, the results for the last month of the 2003 summer season’s first-week box office rankings were in, and “21” continued its weekend champion status with an absolute advantage, as 3,354 theaters brought in 75.26 million US dollars, claiming victory.
