Primitive Man

The following morning after the banquet, a group of eager members of the exploration group gathered in front of the village gate, their equipment at the ready. They were the brave souls who had volunteered to accompany Garnt on his quest to find iron ores.

Among them were Baktou and Unami, the spirited twins, and Kara, a determined young girl who had always admired Garnt.

As the sun began to rise, a sense of excitement filled the air. The group chatted without any restraint, discussing their hopes and aspirations for the journey ahead. They were all clad in sturdy clothing and carried provisions for the trip, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them.

Suddenly, the crowd hushed as Garnt himself appeared, striding confidently towards them. He had a new weapon at his side, something that looked like a giant sword, finely crafted for the journey, and wore new clothes suitable for the task at hand. Unami couldn't help but be impressed.

"Garnt, you look amazing!" she exclaimed.

Kara nodded in agreement, her eyes sparkling. "Yes, you're going to be the strongest leader out there! I can't wait to see you in action."

Garnt chuckled and ruffled their hair affectionately. "Thank you both. I'll do my best to live up to your expectations."

Both of them looked somewhat dissatisfied to be treated like kids by him, but they knew with few more effort, they would be able to seduce him and make him look at them like women instead of kids.

But what they didn't expect is what he did to Ayra, after leaving them.

As he approached his Aunt Ayra, Garnt's expression softened. He exchanged a warm smile with her, and then, to the surprise of everyone present, he leaned in and kissed her on the lips rather sensually. A collective gasp swept through the group.

Ayra had no idea what was happening, and at this point, Garnt's family, especially the girls had somewhat advanced knowledge about intimacy and Kara, Unami and Gundo, everyone felt weird seeing this.

Aunt Ayra blushed but didn't seem taken aback. She smiled at Garnt and said, "Take care, Garnt, and make sure you bring everyone back safely."

He simply nodded in response, smiling, as if he had kissed her deliberately to stir her emotions, hoping that her decision would be a positive one.

Garnt turned his attention to Ayra's son, Kiriah, who had been sulking beside her because Garnt didn't allow him to participate in the exploration.

He gave the young boy's head a gentle pat and said, "You, my young friend, have an important role here in the village. I need a strong and dependable protector, and I believe you're up to the task. I'll be counting on you to keep everyone safe in my absence. Keep your mother and my mother safe.

I trust you."

The young boy's expression shifted from sulking to one of surprise and then determination realizing Garnt's objective. He nodded, his eyes filled with newfound confidence. Garnt's trust in him had made all the difference.

Garnt turned to his mother, Gundo, who had been standing nearby, her eyes filled with worry. He embraced her tightly, feeling her warmth and love in that final hug.

Her eyes were moist with tears, but she managed to show a brave smile. "We'll be waiting for your safe return, my baby. Take care of yourself, and may the guardian spirit guide you."

With a final lingering look, Garnt turned away, as he disappeared into the distance. Gundo grabbed Ayra's arm and hurried her into a nearby hut with an angry look on her face and a sense of urgency in her actions, leaving Kiriah to fulfil his newfound role as one of the protectors of the village.

"Eva, this analyzer really helps me with everything. If my next Bionic Element is going to be this useful, I want to unlock it quickly," Garnt muttered as he observed the visible status of his teammates to get an idea about his team.
