Chapter 41: Chapter 41: Nuke

In the next moment, a blinding light exploded, like the sun falling to earth, and endless light and heat engulfed everything around!

In a distant town, Thor and the others suddenly saw a mushroom cloud rising in the distance, and the massive shockwave was about to reach the town!

In this critical moment, Thor finally regained his power, summoned Mjolnir, and carried Jane Foster and several mortals to a safer distance, escaping the attack. The Warriors Three followed closely behind, and once they reached a safe area, they all looked back at the scene from afar.

Even Thor was amazed by the explosion caused by humanity's most powerful weapon.

"Why was Alex suddenly attacked with such a powerful weapon?"

Jane Foster explained:

"Alex is known as the White Mutant outside, and he's being officially hunted. I heard that the authorities had already drawn up plans against him. It seems this nuke must be their doing! There's no way Alex could survive being hit directly by a nuclear bomb..."

Thor stepped forward, saying, "I'm going to save him. Even if Alex is dead, I must retrieve his body!"

But just as Thor took a step forward, he suddenly stopped and looked at the rapidly shrinking, searing flames ahead, murmuring, "Oh, it looks like I won't need to intervene after all."

In a distant military base, through surveillance satellites, many generals could clearly see the situation in the desert.

After witnessing the White Mutant being directly hit by the nuke, they immediately began to cheer.

The other generals saw this as well, and their smiles froze, staring in disbelief at what was unfolding before them.

"What's happening?"

"The energy from the nuclear explosion is being rapidly absorbed by something in the central area!"

"Wasn't his mutant ability supposed to be suppressed by the mutant suppression device? How is he still able to use it?"

"Oh, God, is he even a mutant?"

Moments later, all the energy from the nuclear explosion was completely absorbed. The blast area was left with nothing but a large cloud of dust; even the melted ground had cooled down.

Then, a blurry figure slowly walked out from the center of the explosion, stepping into a clear area visible to the surveillance satellites. He looked up and raised a middle finger to the sky.
