Legendary Shelter Survival Guide

With the passage of a peaceful day after the intense battle, tranquility reigned within the group. No major discussions took place, but Lucas felt a growing urgency to address an important matter with some individuals.

Lucas and John had thought about something that others might not like but it had to be done for them to grow as a group.

'But everything has a time and now it is to talk with my family.' Lucas thought, his heart was pumping blood like a maniac.

It was a special day that he had waited for a long time to come. The day when the 1st phase would get complete.

In front of Lucas, there was a numerical value that he had been looking at for an hour now without a single stop. Sarah was the same but the others of the group did not look forward to it as much as their whole family was already with each other.

Lucas had butterflies in his stomach that didn't seem to stop moving anytime soon. His breathing had become faster even when he had sat the whole day inside the camp peacefully.

For others, the time may have been moving fast. But for Lucas? It was a nightmare. Every second felt like it was been counted twice.

But time was not moving according to Lucas, it was neither slow nor fast, it moved normally.

DOOM

Lucas's whole body jerked at that last second, his heart skipped not one but three beats which made him take high breathers of air quickly.

But the wait had finally come to an end when he heard a 'Ding!' Sound in his mind which was new and made him startled. The others were the same.

[Congratulations! Through Luck or skills, you have survived the 1st Phase!]

[Rewards Gained: Options 'Talk', 'Trade', and 'Party' are added to the system.]

[Objective- Make a Party with 10 or more creatures, Level your every skill to 5 in a span of four months, defeat five Boss monsters

Time Remaining- 4 months

Reward- Personal individual Quests, 1 Mystery Chest, level 1 map, universal Language skill

Failure- Death]

[Extra Update:

- Chests of varying grades ranging from Extremely common to Ascendant, will appear randomly throughout the land, each guarded by a Boss monster. To claim the treasures concealed within, one must first overcome the challenge of defeating the chest's Boss monster.

- Dungeons of different grades will spawn from Extremely common to Ascendant randomly around the plains of Amaeron, the creatures inside are fierce and if the dungeons are not completed with time, everything inside will swarm out.]

[Note:- The skill level progression now includes the added capability to visualize and track the advancement of each skill.]

"..." Lucas had no words, for every word he looked at, his face constricted with confusion.

Just like the first time, everything was written with not much but enough to tell everything.

Everyone had their eyes straight at the texts, even the two brothers were concentrating. The information in each line was dense.

"... Talk!" A voice exclaimed in a hurry, everyone darted their eyes toward the voice, they all were too surprised by the sudden outburst.

Sarah was the first to use the ability to talk, Lucas was not going to be slow in any way too.

'The information is all here for me to look at for later... Let's focus on what's important first."

Lucas's eyes twitched, he was a very daring kid in every scenario but when it came to saying a single word, his mouth seemed to not work. It was as if something emotional was stopping him. But he had no time for these shenanigans.

"... T-Talk" Lucas said, and finally, a small text-filled interface opened before his eyes.

"Blood related?" Lucas said aloud confused, he could tell what the search function could do but the blood related was unexpected.

But it was too clear, his family was going to be in the blood related section so he clicked on it quickly.

"What the hell?" Lucas said aloud again which got a few gazes from others but when everyone had such a reaction every few seconds, no one reacted to each other.

A long list of names came in front of Lucas, he knew he had the ability to even scroll down but in the 'Blood related' section. There were three names right at the top as if they came first when it came to being bonded with blood.

He didn't know why but his hand instantly went to the second option.

Wierd sound started resounding in his brain and when he looked around, no one had a reaction as if he was the only one who could listen to it.

DING!

Suddenly, another voice came, the text in front of him changed from the list to a single name with some other option beneath it.

-"H-Hello!? Lucas?!!"- A feminine voice resounded in his mind. Lucas knew whose voice it was.

His mother... tears started flowing down his face on its own. There were no words that came out of his mouth. Just the single concerned and panicked voice of his mother was enough to make him content.

-"L-Lucas!? Can you hear me? H-Honey! Where is Lucas? I can't hear him. You told me that I can talk with him now!

*Smack!*"-

Voices of his mother bantering with his father started filling his mind and he couldn't help but chuckle a little. There was no sound of his father but he could tell that he was with her.

He knew that it was his parent's habit to start bantering if there was something wrong but only Lucas knew that it was all healthy and he didn't care for it.

"Gosh... why are you crying this much, Mom? I am here and I can hear you." He had a toothy innocent smile on his face that couldn't seem to go down anytime soon.
