Chapter 582: Chapter 582 - Breaking the Curse



All eyes on the battlefield turned to Broken as he returned, somehow fully restored and brimming with energy.

Elincia, hovering in the air, shouted, "Hey, what kind of power-up did you get, Broken?!"

She tossed an item down to him, which he caught mid-air. Spellweaver Chrono Booster, an hourglass-shaped artifact.

"This item will boost my Mana even more," he said with a grin.

Ivana's face lit up as she watched him, clearly relieved. Alora, equally amazed, murmured, "How did he do that?"

The team was nearing exhaustion; their previous battles with Morel and the Faebeasts had drained almost all their resources. Alora herself was running low on Mana and Stamina.

"So..." Elincia quipped, narrowing her eyes. "Did you just level up? Only a level-up fully restores Mana and Health, right? But that doesn't explain your Stamina! What kind of divine intervention did you get, huh? Stop hiding your Divine Champion status!"

Broken just smiled in response, saying nothing.

He withdrew his Golden Bow of Artemis in one hand and gripped his scythe tightly in the other.

"I can do this," he murmured to himself. "This bow can shoot any item as an arrow, and the best part is, with my scythe, I don't even have to retrieve it manually."

"Whoa!" Elincia exclaimed. "Why does your skill have such a cool visual, Broken? I want that, too!"

"Pfft, that's so lame!" Melliandra scoffed.

Kingsley's voice dropped to a whisper. "Incredible, Broken..."

Alora's face lit up with excitement. "I've never seen anything like it!"

Ivana nodded along with the others.

Broken released the bowstring, the Grim Reaper behind him lifted its scythe and hurled it toward Elaine in a sweeping arc. The scythe spun through the air with deadly precision, striking Elaine in an instant.

The force of the impact radiated through her, and, just as quickly, the Grim Reaper and portal vanished, leaving only the echo of its terrifying power.

Broken immediately activated every defensive skill in his arsenal and charged at Elaine without hesitation, his body fortified by layers of protection. Spinning his scythe rapidly, he dashed forward, leapt, and brought it down in a powerful strike, then moved back, keeping up a relentless rhythm of attacks.

With the support of his summoned allies surrounding her, Elaine was completely overwhelmed, assaulted from every side. Broken moved with incredible speed, almost as if he were the Grim Reaper himself, fulfilling his deadly role with each swing.

"I have to keep pressing her as long as I have the chance," he muttered. "I need to weaken her enough to set up my ultimate skill and end this!"

His movements were precise, his focus sharp. He couldn't afford a single mistake. He knew that if he slipped, Elaine would retaliate viciously. But for now, he had her cornered, his scythe slicing through the air with deadly intent.

As he struck again, his scythe tore into Elaine, her blood spilling out and shimmering under the silvery moonlight, staining the ground beneath them.

Elincia landed gracefully beside Kingsley, Alora, and Ivana, all of whom were catching their breath, their Stamina nearly depleted.

"Did we really need to be here from the start?" she asked with a laugh. "Just look at him. Why does he always hold back until the last possible second? He's totally got a hero complex, doesn't he?"

"That idiot is just showing off," Melliandra muttered in frustration. "Acting like he's run out of Stamina, only to jump back into the fight like he's invincible."

Elincia laughed, nudging her. "Come on, Mel. Can't you cut him a little slack for once?"

The cooldown for Sniper's Focus had ended. Without hesitation, Broken switched to his Woodland Ranger suit.

"Dendros, everyone. Hold her down!" he shouted, and all his summons, including Polly and Pawpaw, launched coordinated attacks from all directions, creating the time he needed to

prepare.

This time, he wielded The Scorchslayer. As he charged the skill, the sky split open, and a colossal demonic hand appeared, grasping an even larger version of The Scorchslayer. When the charge finished, the enormous sword descended to the earth, engulfed in flames, creating a massive ring of fire as it struck. The impact pinned Elaine to the ground, drastically reducing her defense.

Seeing the opening, Broken swiftly switched to his Bedrock Breaker Pickaxe.

The massive version of the pickaxe appeared behind him, spinning. As the charge completed, the earth shook, and dozens of massive boulders rained down, pounding the ground with deafening impacts. Each strike raised debris, filling the air with the sound of continuous,

thunderous blows.

Broken's attacks unleashed catastrophic damage, while the others had wisely stepped back, avoiding the destruction that shattered the battlefield around Elaine.

The damage was evident-Elaine's body was visibly battered, her form barely holding together. Sensing this was his chance, Broken swiftly switched back to his Invincible Paragon

armor.

from the scythe, cascading toward Elaine like a storm.

A powerful surge of energy erupted from him, enveloping the scythe as it grew to several times its original size. The air around him pulsed with energy, and shadows danced across the

battlefield as he prepared to strike the final blow.
